How did I not know about this place?!? Been coming to SVL for years and just Yelp'd a bit outside my normal circumference and found this divine location. Right on Murphy St in "downtown Sunnyvale", this is a pretty large and open venue with bright windows and outdoor seating. Got a Cappuccino and breakfast burrito with bacon. Had to wait quite a bit for my burrito (more than 10 min - which I wasn't prepared for). Next time, I would bring my laptop and enjoy everything in the cafe. The classical music pumping in through the speakers just made me feel City smart. I can't wait to come back. read more

Vibes were nice, but the food was disappointing. The location was really cute and nice as you had a really good open view of Murphy street/Sunnyvale downtown since there was a large open window in the cafe. This cafe is also a great studying spot as there are chargers at most tables and that is super convenient. Now onto the disappointing part of the meal. I got the California Turkey, and it didn't taste very fresh and the bread was super hard. The turkey seemed like it had just been microwaved. The sauce in the sandwich also was very disgusting. It seemed to be horseradish mustard and it did not pair well with the overall dish. For the price the California Turkey was definitely not worth it. OVERALL even though the ambiance was nice and the vibes were cute in the cafe I would not recommend Coffee and More for food when it is so subpar and when there are plenty of better options right next to the cafe in Sunnyvale downtown. Perhaps for a study session and some coffee I might come again! read more

The first review I see on this page is by someone called Rabbi K, who said she's never had the coffee here, but everything else was good. I couldn't agree more. I feel like this place should be called "More & Coffee" or "Cafe that also serves coffee". Either way, coffee is not the main attraction, and deservedly so. The coffee was quite mediocre, but the breakfast food was very good. I got the breakfast burrito, which was made well and came with a side salad. My friend got the avocado toast which I had to retrain from secretly taking a bite of when she wasn't looking. Nothing to complain about there. However, the coffee left much to be desired. I could have made a better coffee at home. I also didn't like that everything came in takeout containers, even though we dined in. I get that covid is still going on, but the primary mode of transmission is human-to-human, not human-to-plate-to-dishwasher-back-to-human. We can be covid conscious and planet friendly, in my humble (but opinionated) view. All in all, I think 4 stars here is not bad. read more

I love going to this coffee shop on Saturday mornings. I order the white chocolate mocha and a cheese Danish. Both of which are delicious. I like to go early when they open and then snag a seat on Murphy Street and watch the street come to life. As the farmers market starts up and people are opening up their shops. They have a lot of beautiful bakery options, they offer savory breakfast and lunch options and a full menu of iced, blended, and hot coffee options. read more

This is a cute little homie vibe with a decent amount of seating and a large menu. I chose it because of its location which is near a bunch of other small little cafés and casual food places. First time visit. First impression was dark interior, but also cozy, This is a corner location in a good food area. S. Murphy Avenue is a nice area with a bookstore many food options on this section of the street. Iced green tea was strong but good. My fault for not asking for a lot of ice, which I usually do. I got the white mocha and tuna sandwich both times I came here. I don't know how such a simple sandwich, literally like 1 ingredient of tuna salad, could be so good. Somehow the ratio of bread to middle was just so perfect. The rye bread also had a super nice somehow chewy texture. It was also nice that they cut the sandwich in half. The ambiance was good, I charged my laptop and worked and that was nice. There are definitely some spots in the place that are a bit too dim though. The area outside is also nice and pleasant. Beware as there was a very long line and not easy to get a spot to sit. So don't count on getting a seat to do some work or chill there. And you may be subjected to listening to techies talk about boring work stuff. read more

A fun first - I was in the area, early morning (7:15), looking for a cafe to hang out for a bit. So as I'm looking at yelp reviews of this place I realize I've been here before! Well, 1-year-ago-me enjoyed this place and who better to recommend to me than me. Sunnyvale downtown at 7:30 in the morning is pretty empty. But there are at least 5 or 6 groups here kicking starting their morning. Looks like they also have some wireless phone chargers on the table now. That's neat. Latte's on point. Love this place!! I go every week at least and get either the latte or cold brew with the orange cranberry muffin. The latte and cold brew are very good but the orange cranberry muffin takes the cake.. or muffin you could say. Its really good especially warmed up. The breakfast sandwich with ham and spinach is a good choice too. The guy who owns it is always friendly as are the other people working there so thats a plus. I am writing this review as I sit here at one of their counters. This is my second time here and so I can safely give it a 5 star review. I usually hold the 5 star for places that I can wholeheartedly recommend to friends and family. I've had the breakfast burrito, which comes with a fruit bowl, very fresh fruits. It was delicious, crispy on the outside and hot on the inside. Very good size, decent portion that will fill you up. My standard coffee order is the Latte, and it was right on. Today I wanted to change it up and order a medium Chai Latte, but found that the flavor is a little too sweet for me. I will stick to the regular order next time. Service is prompt and they bring your food to you. There are a good variety of seating: with small tables for those who work, comfy chairs if you want to chat and be more relaxed, and countertop seating that face each other if you want to sit across from someone. I can see lots of people coming here and it being their office away from home. The music is soft and not too loud or distracting. It fills up fast, so finding a spot could be challenging. But both times we got the comfy chairs to enjoy our food and coffee. Since it's right on Murphy St., Saturday mornings would be full. But good things are worth waiting for. read more

Comfortable place to work and study, but the WeeFee isn't as fast as it should be. I have a feeling people are playing World of Warcraft here. Just kidding, but my point is, it's really slow, even for things such as downloading a document. A ton of people are out heeyah with their laptops open and earphones on ,so don't feel bad for setting up shop here for the whole day if your office is closed or you want to WFC ("work from cafe." They also have a printer, but it costs .99 cents to print one B&W page, so I'd only recommend this convenience if you're 1) in an emergency or 2) rich. The food is tasty and reasonably priced. My work partner and I both had a sandwich with a side of fruit for only $15. That is a steal in Silicon Valley. Bike parking is nearby, and so is Downtown Sunnyvale and all its delicious eateries. read more

Note: this is a review about the holistic experience, not just the food. I live near downtown Sunnyvale and work remotely. Due to health reasons, it's impractical for me to go to the office for a full day of work, but I like see people so I work in this cafe for 2-3 hours on some day(s) every week or so. The service is amicable and accommodating. If I'm in a meeting, they usually deliver the food and drinks to me. The tea is fairly good quality and does not have a lingering bitter taste characteristic of cheap teas used in other cafes. The coffee is standard -- not amazing, but they aren't screwing up either. The wifi however IS excellent. While not perfect, especially in the mornings when the cafe is full, I have had the fewest issues with the wifi here among places in which I've tried working. There is also a public printer here, which is easy to use. The sandwiches and salads are fresh. I love the quesadilla and avocado toast. The breakfast sandwich is also an excellent choice. The pastries on display are not as fresh and taste like they came from a supermarket, but frankly my whole experience is so good that I don't mind a slightly old muffin in the afternoon an hour before they close. read more

I picked up breakfast here after a stroll at the farmer's market. I opted for a chai latte and sausage breakfast sandwich on an asiago bagel. There is plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Great coffee shop for doing some studying in located downtown! I got there close to opening so it was easy to find parking but when I left close to late afternoon it was pretty bus. It's spacious and they have a good wifi speed/connection. They also have a single bathroom inside which is also pretty spacious as well. There's also multiple tables and chairs for studying whatever your preference is. There's also outlets located throughout. When I first got there I got a breakfast sandwich on a croissant and added sausage to it. I also got a regular iced latte. Nice strong coffee flavor and delicious breakfast! On my way out I also picked up a matcha iced latte which was also very good! I had a nice and productive study session there. LET ME JUST TELL YOU.... if you live near here and this can be your regular spot, make it so! We were visiting from Santa Barbara and I have a check-off list for a perfect coffee shop and coffee and more cafe is it. What I look for in a coffee shop is 1) good coffee (obviously) 2) breakfast food, something more than a pastry 3) good study spot (outlets, working space) 4) good air circulation (some places have stale air which attracts fruit flies) I'm pretty selective in my coffee shops AND THIS PLACE IS PERFECT! Had a nice dark roast Sumatra coffee and it was roasty and tasty. We also ordered the breakfast burrito and it was absolutely delicious. The sausage was well seasoned and the burrito tasted healthy and not greasy. It also comes with a cup of fruit that has perfectly ripe, sweet, amazing fruit. The breakfast burrito was a great choice and at a great price point! The decor here is very clean, modern and hipster, with succulents on cute shelves and my favorite cow paintings and figurines. I have to say this is one of my all time favorite coffee places. Quite far away from me but worth the travel. Breakfast burrito is delicious. Their white mocha is nice and so is their house coffee. I love the ambiance here. Kinda like a bigger coffee shop with a slight European touch yet chill and low key. The staff here is nice - don't expect them to kiss your feet when I say that - as I don't of course - but hey no drama, no attitude and what's most important of all they make nice coffee and food! I love coming here whenever I can. The background music is usually some chill Brazilian cafe music, really nice to relax to. It does get a bit crowded here, sometimes might be a bit tough to find a spot to grab but usually I've had luck finding a seat. Parking area right next to it can be packed, luckily as it's in downtown Sunnyvale there's plenty of parking around but even then it can be challenging to find a spot on busy days. Anyway the ambiance being chill, low key and relaxing and decent coffee and food is what keeps bringing me back here. read more

The regular coffee shop I go to was closed and I really did stumble upon a fantastic place. Customer service was above par. Literally a smiling bunch of baristas and even though they were about to close in 30 minutes, they were excited to see me. I took the advice of the barista and ordered a extra hot white mocha with hazelnut and it was SO good! I ordered a small, which normally is good enough for me, but I badly wanted a XXXXXL. This was the first time I really explored Sunnyvale and the surrounding areas. I'm highly empresses and I'll definitely come back to visit this shop. read more
