    Strawberry Cream Matcha
    Pam M.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Cutest little cafe on Ventura.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The space is very nice, clean with lots of plants you can purchase all around.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I was helped quickly and ordered a strawberry matcha. It was good, the strawberry at the bottom wasn't the easiest to swirl into the drink but overall it was great. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It seems like people go there to work so it's pretty quiet inside.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I enjoyed their seating outside, it was a beautiful day.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They also had a small selection of toasts and pastries that I'd like to try next time.

Cute spot with plant- based coffee options. Good for working or catching up with a friend.

I really thought the matcha was gonna be good here. I immediately knew by the color of this matcha I knew it was going to be gross. I tried it anyways but it tasted spoiled. I didn't end up drinking it I dumped it in the trash. [[HIGHLIGHT]]This is unfortunate because the inside was cute.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Coffee and Plants is located in Venture, and no surprise was it how hard it was to find parking. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's a fairly small location from the queue to the tables, but the atmosphere inside is very aesthetic. Everything screams luxury but in a cute, enchanted forest kind of vibe.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I went with my basic iced latte only to realize that there is no milk. Instead, I went with oat milk. The espresso here tasted great, and I was impressed with how it paired with their oat milk. While I didn't have a chance to work inside, I am excited to return in the future. The staff member who helped my friend and I at the time was very friendly, and drinks were out within a fairly reasonable time (~5 mins) - prepared fresh. The most fun part was picking up the drink at their Lazy Susan.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Super cute and aesthetic cafe, definitely a place where you can make a Pinterest board out of.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I ordered their non caffeinated lavender butterfly pea latte which was super refreshing and delicious! [[HIGHLIGHT]]I love the space here, I just wish there was a location on the westside.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

[[HIGHLIGHT]]This is one of the cutest matcha and coffee shops I've seen and had an amazingly friendly and helpful barista.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Definitely a place where you go after Pilates[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] . This matcha and coffee shop is plant based, no cow milk so no up charge on the dairy free. I had the Azul matcha with butterfly lavender cold foam. It's good, not too sweet, had almond cashew milk and tasted a bit like coconut and lavender. The cream is delicious. The only negative is there was not a lot of liquid to the drink. The cup is small, my guess is 10-12 oz so it tastes good but won't quench your thirst.

There were people inside working on their computers and enjoying their drinks. I ordered the strawberry cream matcha. The color of matcha was vibrant and I loved the strawberry cream on top- it was extra fluffy. The strawberry puree mixed in was a great combination as well- there wasn't one flavor overpowering the other with all the different components of the drink. There was one other person was in line so service was quick. Parking- street parking

Came here for a breakfast and it was fantastic! I ordered the just egg tartine and it was bigger and more filling than I expected, I also ordered the pumpkin latte with oat milk to accompany it. The tartine was wonderful and they really did a fantastic job with the scramble. I loved the seasonings and the hot sauce that accompanied it. The bread also had a great texture and balanced out the soft fluffy texture of the faux egg. The pumpkin latte was perfectly sweet and creamy and worked so well to contrast the savory meal. It was relaxing and comfy inside although it was packed when we arrived! Thankfully we were able to find a spot to eat! The customer service was so friendly and caring. Parking was super easy in the neighborhood behind with free two hour parking!

Be very careful; I wanted to buy from that place--the food is delicious but they don't handle the product with care.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]What a cute coffee shop with all plant-based food.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We had the peach please tea and the strawberry matcha and it was great. [[HIGHLIGHT]]There is seating indoors and outdoors but it is limited.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The staff is super friendly and the drinks came out super quickly! Next time I want to try the food items too.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Nice interior, cute spot for photos and social media posts.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Staffs are nice and friendly. Limited meter parking outside (and the enforcement guy literally waits by the meter. The minute your meter expires he will give you a ticket, smh). But I am giving this place a three stars because my 9 dollars Strawberry Cream Matcha was made from store bought strawberry jam (saw the barista scooped it out of the jar). I was expecting maybe somewhat in-house made strawberry for the price. Oh well. . .

    Calm inviting atmosphere!
    Laura B.

Love the seasonal drinks and the new pastries! The banana bread tastes like my Mom's recipe. And the staff is always on top of their game even when very busy they handle it with smiles, grace and ease! This has become my favorite coffee stop!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Coffee and plants is a lovely coffee shop.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]They have a lovely seating area and the store has great relaxing vibes.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The barista who made my drink was friendly and courteous. I tried the double pumpkin latte and it was delicious. I definitely will come back here to relax and have a nice beverage in the future

Unfortunately, my first visit back in two years was extremely disappointing. My server wasn't very communicative and didn't explain the menu, portion sizes, or that many dishes were meant to be shared, so I ended up ordering far more food than I needed. The food was not what I remembered. The curry was overly salty, I didn't enjoy the dumpling filling, and the protein inside the spring rolls had an unpleasant aftertaste. Overall, I simply didn't like the food (beside the vegetables soup) The atmosphere was extremely overwhelming. The outdoor seating I used to enjoy was gone, and inside the restaurant was crowded and very noisy, with loud customers, music, and kitchen noise all competing at once. After a long day, I was hoping for a relaxing dinner, but instead left with a strong migraine, I was trying to eat and felt like I wanted to run away from there to just get peace & quiet. When I paid, I explained that I genuinely didn't like most of the food. Despite barely eating more than a soup, a few bites of curry, and one spring roll, I was still charged $53 and was told "there was nothing they could do about it" This restaurant is nothing like the Hope Kitchen I used to know. Between the disappointing food, poor service, and uncomfortable atmosphere, it was a terrible experience. I won't be returning, and I cannot recommend it.

That being said, We were in NoHo, and saw "The Vegan & More" in Studio City, so we made a detour, and decided to give this establishment a try. The address for this place is simple, however, when you look for the marquee that reads "The Vegan & More" you don't see it. What you do see is at the same address (and they happen to have a Yelp Page for that restaurant too BTW) is the Jumpin Java Kitchen, which has been there since 1995! As you can see from the photos, this place that first attracted us to come, is not a full blown restaurant, nor a pop-up (that we also passed on this a.m.) but a page from the menu from another restaurant. To me, this is what one would call BAIT AND SWITCH. Now let's get on to what was ordered.. My wife ordered the Vegan Egg Scramble.. and mind you, the photo that they showcase both on Yelp and Google, is FAR FROM what they served. The key to this dish is the vegan egg... not the veggies... .and you can see from our posted photos, from this a.m. there's barely anything there... which is why my wife didn't eat it. Now there are a few things that really bug me here... 1. The Vegan & More should not have a page on Yelp,a and Yes, I am going to complain, as when we arrived at the address, there's absolutely NOTHING there to say we were in the right place, other than the address. Also when we asked the server, he confirmed they have Vegan Options.. Not once was the name "Vegan & More" mentioned! 2. Portions, what you advertise from your photos, IS NOT what you serve. Forget about the overabundant of "home potatoes" that costs you nothing, but the very key of the meal, for a vegan to eat, you barely put anything on... yet while your photos show otherwise... 3. When the server asked if we wanted a box, and we refused, you would think the owner would be notified that the meal hasn't be touched... but no.. nothing. We got the check, paid WAY TOO MUCH for barely anything... Did I eat, yes, was it good, it was ok... but that's not why we were here... A new Vegan Restaurant in Studio City is what brought us here... However, FULL TRANSPARENCY is needed! Don't say one thing, and be something else... not even a mention to rebranding, nothing... Jumpin Java Kitchen IS what is where you would expect to find The Vegan & More"... Beware....!!!!

I'll admit, I sometimes feel like vegetarian food can lack flavor, but that was definitely NOT the case here. Everything we had was bold, flavorful, fresh, and absolutely delicious. Both dishes were packed with flavor, perfectly tender, and didn't feel like they were "missing" anything compared to non-vegetarian dishes. The rice stood out, it wasn't your typical plain jasmine rice but more of a hearty grain blend, which I actually enjoyed even more. On top of the amazing food, the staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly, which made the whole experience even better. This place is definitely going to be a regular for me when I'm in the area. Something Vegan is a cozy little spot with indoor and outdoor seating, easy street parking, and a menu worth exploring if you're plant-based. The food was good, though nothing I tried nothing rose to the level of outstanding. My bigger issue was the service. I waited long stretches between check-ins, and when I asked for recommendations around high-protein options, the guidance I got missed the mark. I ended up ordering the Impossible Burger as a double, which I'd caution anyone against -- it's nearly IMPOSSIBLE to eat without making a complete mess, and no napkins were ever brought to the table. I was left to fend for myself for a solid fifteen minutes while things got... messy. Getting a refill on my iced tea or flagging someone down for the check took way longer than it should have. To be fair, the servers were perfectly pleasant when they did come by -- the issue wasn't attitude, it was absence. Three stars for now. They seemed overwhelmed with Postmates / To Go orders perhaps, but the folks actually sitting in the restaurant need attention too. :)

The California Hamburger was also solid and came loaded with guacamole and fresh toppings, but the asada tacos completely stole the show. The soy asada was packed with flavor, and once I added their house salsa, I was officially addicted. I also tried the Special Pizza. I am not usually a pizza person, but I completely understand why this one is so popular. It was loaded with toppings, had a good crust and tasted even better with a little extra spice. I think if they added tofu as an option, like Sharky's does, and black beans, and pico de gallo, and made it have very little rice, it would be a pretty good burrito. But, this wasn't a pretty good burrito. So, 3 stars only.
