I came to DTSA to work remote for a day earliest this year and this spot was on my list. I came in got my order and set up at a table near by. I really wanted to stay and enjoy working and my coffee but it was just too loud for me. It wasn't that it was busy but it just didn't have the coffee shop vibe I was hoping for. This new location feels more like grab your coffee to-go vibe. They do have more public seating right outside so I would return but not to work but to grab a coffee and sit outside or walk around next time. I love to support a local business and although my experience wasn't what I hoped for I would return to support.

Haven't been back here for a long time. Since in the neighborhood, stopped by and grab some caffeine to go. The place is still nice, big, spacious with both indoor and outdoor seating nice and neat. Staff is alway nice & friendly. They got baked goods and others. Coffee is great and we'll make to my liking. So glad I stopped by.

Parking is easy for this place, it's located right next to the parking structure and you get a 1-hour grace period for FREE. Matcha here is perfect! They also bake all of their pastries in-house. The staff is super friendly and this location shares the space with a cute boutique shop so you can browse while you wait. This is my go-to spot for a quick pick me up matcha or coffee at work.

I had a lunch plan with some friends nearby and was looking for a place to grab a quick coffee beforehand. This spot happened to be close, so I decided to check it out. The reviews looked great, and the atmosphere seemed really nice. Since it's located in Downtown Santa Ana, you have to pay for street parking. I think it was a little over $4 for two hours. When you walk in, there is a huge coffee roaster, along with two tables and a bar area where you can sit. It doesn't really feel like the kind of place where you'd bring a laptop to study or work. It's more of a spot to just grab a quick coffee and chat.I ordered a menu item I hadn't seen before called the "Mexicana Mocha." The ingredients inside were coffee, chai, and mocha--which I assume is chocolate. They mentioned I could adjust the sweetness level, so I asked for just 50% sweetness. The drink came out quickly, and the staff member was so friendly with a beautiful smile!Honestly, I couldn't really taste anything uniquely special about the drink, haha. Maybe it's because I lowered the sweetness level? The customers coming in seemed to mostly be regulars. While I want to give the staff five stars for their friendliness and bright energy, the coffee itself was just okay for me. So, I'm giving it four stars!

Coffee Muse is a solid spot located on the corner of 4th Street Market. Parking is available through meters or the structure nearby. The meters are free from 6am to 8am and the parking garage offers one free hour which makes it easy to stop by in the morning. My favorite drinks here are the Honey Nut Cheerios latte which comes with oat milk by default and the Mexican mocha latte. The espresso quality is pretty standard but the drinks themselves are enjoyable and well balanced. The pastries are quite good. I really like their muffins and croissants which are warm and flaky. Their breakfast burrito is also pretty solid, though it is sourced and warmed in the oven. The staff are always friendly and quick. The interior is pretty minimal, only two small tables and a few chairs with outside patio seating. Overall, Coffee Muse is a reliable spot for a quick drink or bite and worth visiting if you are in the area.

Such a fun mix of coffee and art. Coffee Muse is located in DTSA and is serving up all your favorite caffeinated beverages. This cafe also offers a space for artists and creators to sell their locally made goods. There's 12+ vendor booths scattered throughout the cafe. Browse items from clothing, to speciality snacks and food, and candles. Shopping is my favorite form of entertainment. I ordered an iced matcha latte with strawberry, which is quite possibly the perfect summer drink. Highly recommend checking this spot out and supporting local creators!

A small coffee shop next to 4th street market. There is paid street parking as well as paid structure parking available nearby. They have both indoor and outdoor seating available. When we were there, the AC was blowing so strongly that the amount of air blowing made it hard to keep my eyes open and it was fairly cold. The coffee is decent and the staff are very friendly. We went at a time that wasn't too crowded so our drinks were ready very quickly. The drinks tasted good, but I think they may have put regular milk/dairy instead of the drinks instead of oat milk based on how my body reacted to it. It was not the greatest experience for a lactose intolerant person, but I would still go back again and to try something without milk.

Here's the pro tip, sign up for their rewards program. I did and they sent me a reward for a free cookie. I've been dreaming about said cookie for a week now and came this morning to redeem it. Such a tough choice as all look great but I went with the pecan chocolate chip. Apparently today is National Run Day and the local run club stopped here for their usual beverage. I chatted with them and they bought me an Americano to go with my cookie! I told them I don't run, but they offered all the same. What a kind act. The coffee went so well with the cookie and my love for Coffee Muse is just growing. I'm going to come back and try the other cookies and drinks soon. Please come and create your own adventure.

Honey nut latte is SO good. I made no modifications for sweetness and it was perfect. The barista is incredibly friendly. They sell coffee beans too.

Wowow the dirty vanilla chai = perfect pick me up after walkin' around and shoppin' around DTSA. One unique part about this shop is that it's connected to other vendors that sell homemade merch and crafts or clothes. If you wanna support local, stop by here and browse through the various vendors. I also appreciated the helpful baristas! They did not make me feel like I was a bother when I asked for 1 espresso shot instead of the usual 2.

One of my favorite coffee shops in Downtown Santa Ana. Staff is always so friendly. Some of my favorites: vanilla latte, matcha, Mexican mocha and you can't go wrong with their baked good - love the pb&j cookie! Great spot to try.

First time stopping into Coffee Muse in Downtown Santa Ana, and I really enjoyed it! The menu is small but easy to choose from, which I appreciate. I ordered the avocado toast and the Honey Nut Cheerios latte. The sourdough was fresh and tasty--though honestly a bigger slice than I expected. The avocado portion was generous and exactly what I'd hope for with a $10 avocado toast. Nicely seasoned and beautifully presented. The latte didn't quite give me the Honey Nut Cheerio flavor I was expecting, but it was still really smooth and delicious overall. The espresso here is buttery and well-pulled. The café is on the smaller side, but outdoor seating would be perfect on a nice day. Staff was absolutely phenomenal. Friendly, welcoming, and quick to help. My friends and I came in around 10am on a Friday, and it wasn't too busy, which was a plus. The only small downsides: my coffee took a bit longer than I expected, considering the shop wasn't very full, and I noticed their website doesn't list a menu, which would be super helpful. More seating would also be great since it's such a cozy space. Overall, I'd definitely come back for the vibe, the friendly service, and the quality of the coffee.

Came to get my favorite drink the Honey Nut Cheerios, made to perfection by the owner himself. I was greeted by Jasmine she is very warm and welcoming person and makes me feel like family. I always come just for the coffee but end up getting a coffee and a few sweet treats as well lol. This place rocks !!

Anything of their espresso drinks either hot or cold has always turned out yummy, according to him. I'm more of a matcha person since my stomach issues years ago so as a matcha snob, I can say their matcha is strong here but the only down side is they only have almond milk as their alternative to dairy. And, I think they make the almond milk in-house, aka fresh, so there is no hint of sweetness at all. If you know, almond milk does alternate the flavor of your drink so I did not like the iced matcha almond milk I had very much. I would get their default matcha, it's perfect. One thing that deserves a huge shout out here is the avocado toast!! OH EM GEE! It's one of the best we've ever had! Each toast is on a thick sourdough, packed with tons and tons of smashed avocado, with asiago cheese and pancetta (fancy bacon), and lemon. AND, you need to add their soft boiled egg. It's perfection! Highly Rec!!!!

It has such a unique vibe. It's located around Downtown Santa Ana, and the sign isn't very big, so it can be a little hard to find. Honestly, I'm glad I came with my friends because if I had come by myself, I probably would have missed it and gone home. The atmosphere is definitely different from your typical Orange County coffee shop. I heard the owners are from New York, and I think you can feel that influence. It has a very urban, sophisticated feel, but at the same time, there's something warm yet slightly cool and edgy about the space. It's hard to explain, but it has a personality of its own. The coffee bar is completely open, so you can watch the baristas make your drink and see every little movement they make. I wanted to try so many things on the menu, but I had already had two cups of coffee that day, so I decided to go with matcha instead. What really impressed me was how detailed they were when taking my order. They asked about the sweetness level, syrup options, type of milk, and even the type of cup I wanted. Since I was staying to enjoy my drink there, they served my matcha in a beautiful glass. And watching them make the matcha right in front of me was such a treat. It wasn't just some sweet matcha powder mixed with milk. You could really taste the quality of the matcha, and the drink was clean, smooth, and delicious. Santa Ana is a little far from my home, so I don't come here very often. But this place made me want to come back someday, take my time, and just enjoy a cup of matcha without rushing. Definitely a place with its own character. Would I come back? 100% YES.

However, the cons overwhelmingly outweighed the pros :,( I was FIRST in line and ordered ONE drink: a vanilla marble espresso with no foam. I waited 20ish minutes for my drink while 4 orders behind me (all 2+ drinks) came out before mine. I waited for a while without saying anything as I'm also a barista and know that patience and kindness from customers goes a long way, especially giving them grace as they had just opened, but consistently taking new orders while not prioritizing the first customer after 20 minutes is just ridiculous. I asked one of the baristas if she could check on my order and she said that the espresso machine takes a long time to start pulling good shots-- shouldn't this be a problem that's solved before you open? After I asked, my drink came out immediately so I don't know if there was a lack of communication with the other baristas or if they just forgot about my drink. Additionally, another barista was putting out furniture when there was a line and only 1 barista behind the bar-- again, shouldn't this be done before you open? The drink itself was okay, something I'd drink again if I had to, but I wouldn't go out of my way to spend $6.50 for it. 6/10. Hopefully this experience isn't shared and I would give Trung Nguyen Coffee a try but personally, it's not for me. Efficiency and communication is a must. I ended up being late to school even though I came exactly at 7 and school is 10 minutes away.
