It was 9:30 and they didn't allow me to sit inside to eat my ice cream with this quote from the worker, "If we let you sit in here then other people will want to sit in here" Isn't that the idea when the store is still open? Based on this experience it made me feel as though they were counting down the minutes to lock the door and get the heck out of there..bad experience! I hope these two gentlemen are able to turn their moods and work ethic around because I always remember cold stone employees being hyped and ready to sing and entertain for tips. I couldn't decide on what to get and the cashier was so nice and helpful, offered me many samples (I tried like 5 lol). They were so patient and serve my ice cream with a smile. Went in today around 4:30 and there were only 3 sets of couples in there. The girl working there at the time ( the one without the glasses) completely skipped over me. I know she can see me. Unless it's that difficult to keep track of three people I don't understand why she didn't help me. She helped the people who had barely walked in behind me. I ended up having to wait to get to the register for the other girl to help me. The people in back of us ended up leaving before me. Other guest walked in and the same girl was quick to help them and had their order ready before I had my order ready. The manager is more than welcome to check the cameras and see that I didn't mistreat the employees in order to get helped after everyone else. The same employee even asked me if I wanted my ice cream to be placed in the freezer while I waited for the rest of my order so I know she saw me. The experience made me feel like I did something wrong and embarrassed because everyone else was getting helped out. I'm a huge fan of ice cream and any dessert, but this Cold Stone location was AWFUL. My friend ordered some Salted Caramel flavor and they gave him... banana ice cream...?? He had tested it before he ordered and when they made it, he asked if they were sure he gave him the right flavor? The girl gave him a lot of attitude and said it was right. My other friend essentially got a cup full of melted ice cream. I get they're mixing things into it, but they really should make sure that it's still ice cream consistency by the time it gets to the customer. To this day... we all say "Cold Stone ruined ice cream." We will never be going back again to this overpriced and underwhelming place. They should also make sure to hire employees who don't make every single person in a group angry in some way. read more

So I ordered a "love it" size (medium) with a mix in. As soon as the girl starts scooping the ice cream, I can tell something's wrong. She scoops out the tiniest ball of ice cream and proceeds to do the whole 'smoosh in your mix in on the marble slab' thing. I didn't say anything to her about not having enough ice cream, cuz hey, I'm not here to tell you how to do YOUR job. She then tosses it in the air, which by the way I hate. Don't play games with other people's food. So she catches the ice cream in the cup and that's when she FINALLY realizes she didn't scoop enough ice cream. I mean the cup wasn't even half full. So she goes back to the ice cream display freezer and scoops another spoonful of ice cream and puts it into my cup. Silly of me to think she would actually MIX it into the original scoop. Ice cream really isn't my thing. I brought my daughter here because she likes ice cream. The gurl at the counter was very friendly and helpful since I told her it was my first time here. She gave me a few samples and it was good. I think its kind of pricy for ice cream though., I don't see much difference between their ice cream and rite aid ice cream for almost three times the amount you know. If it weren't for the owner, I would likely have rated 4-5 stars due to the friendly staff and delicious ice cream creations. However, hearing the way the owner spoke to his employees by itself, took me from excited, and well, pretty hungry... to a complete loss of my appetite... while standing in front of all that goodness, I hope you can grasp how difficult of a task that is to do. As if that weren't enough to lose my support , as well as the support and promotion of my local family, neighbors and friends... the disrespect was then turned on me. Having a disability, I every-so-often encounter unnecessary judgement and discrimination.. that being said, this man ranks #4 on my 3 decade list of unfortunate and/or appalling interactions with store owners/staff. Normally, I can brush it off and accept others mistreatment as ignorance, or they maybe just having a bad day. I get that, but the disrespect, turned harassment has left a taste on the opposite spectrum of sweet and pleasant in my mouth. Needless to say, we (myself and my fellow ice cream fanatics) will NOT be returning to this location. I hope patience, understanding, gratitude, and the meaning of respect visit soon, instead. As for the staff, I wish only those things are presented to them, with a cherry on top. Good job, please don't let that type of disrespect dim your bright, personable and helpful efforts. We stood in line for 20mins while the two poor minimum wage employees busted their ass whipping together ice cream. I had to call this location back to cancel my order and place a new order with the closest location. Nonetheless, It is June 17th, I placed my cancelled order with this location on June 11th and although my order was cancelled the same day, the idiots charged me for a "non-existent cake" anyway and I'm still trying to get my money back. I called this location upon receiving an email from their Corporate office stating they could not locate my order and was told to ignore the email. I was here last night around 6:15ish pm. I ordered a like it and my friend ordered something as well. I remember reading the prices and I think the like it was $5.40 something but I was charged 6.99??? I may be wrong but thats still an expensive price for a tiny cup. I ordered the smallest size and wash charged that much which does not make sense at all. One thing that also bothered me was that it was a cold, slow night, it was just me and my friend in the store for a moment, and the girl who was working, she had a really long ponytail but I didn't get her name, was just working on a tub of ice cream, and when she was done, she was doing absolutely nothing but standing at the register and clicking her pen obnoxiously loud. I felt so uncomfortable that I checked the time because I thought she was about to close and wanted us out but nope, it was 7:11pm when I checked my time. I told my friend to leave because she just kept staring outside clicking her pen. I worked at an ice cream shop before and I know better than to stand around doing nothing on a slow night. I know that there's plenty of work to be done. I am very disappointed with my visit, and will probably never return to this location because of their false prices and lazy workers. Never going back to this place again! Went there and got a family size strawberry, banana with chocolate chips ice cream, they mixed it for like a minute and most of it were melted. I asked for some ice and the guy that was there said they didnt have ice but as I walked out, another person asked for ice and they gave it to them.
