Got my all time favorite chocolate devotion yummy yummy I like getting my icecream here because they close at10 unlike other cold stones that close at 9. The guy took forever to come out and it irritated me because I already knew what I wanted. But I could tell he didn't like that I came at such a late hour (9:40) but then again I don't blame him since it was so close to closing. I've been to this particular location in Alhambra only twice but in those two times, I haven't been disappointed. On both counts, they've been particularly generous with the ice cream. And on both occasions, I felt like I was getting my money's worth. The first time I came here, I ordered that strawberry thingy or something of that sort. I can't remember the exact signature name that they had for this. It's not the strawberry banana and they only have one other strawberry signature thingy so it's gotta be that one. It was REAL good. I finished it in a matter of minutes. The second time I came here, I ordered that peanut butter something or other signature ice cream thingy. It was like, "Wow! This is one of the most sweetest things I've ever tasted!" Plus, I was being served by a cute Asian girl so that added to my pleasant experience. I'd recommend this place if you can afford the price. Extremely rude!! I asked this hispanic lady who was working there for a kid's size chocolate and marshmallows. She simply scooped the chocolate ice cream and then held onto it WITHOUT putting it on the cold plate, and then started talking to the other worker and answering her question. This entire time for a good 2 minutes she is just standing there and letting the ice cream melt while she breaths all over it from talking to her coworker. I was shocked! Who does that!? There was a complete disregard for my ice cream! Then she doesn't even put it on the cold plate and just puts it into the kid's bowl. And then she just adds the marshmallows on top. I was like wait I wanted the marshmallows inside and MIXED, (like how you mix EVERYTHING else that you make)?! She gave me a look and rudely said "well you can just mix it yourself and eat off the top". I said no, and then asked her to mix it, and she clearly added way too many marshmallows so that the portions were off and it was just terrible all around. I eventually asked her to get a larger size but I regret doing that because it was still terrible and I ended up having to pay more money. She made no effort in mixing it either, she just scooped it and sliced it a few times on the cold plate. It was the worst mixing of ice cream I've ever seen. Be careful who you allow to make your ice cream because this employee was extremely lazy and tried to tell me that she knows better about how I want my ice cream, and it ended up giving my girlfriend a stomach ache. read more

Came to redeem my birthday coupon this evening. The line was long, and the dude behind the counter Mike was working alone. When it was finally my turn, I asked him why he was by himself. He said his co worker bailed on him! He was so friendly and wished me happy belated bday, made small talk with everyone too. Never made anyone feel like a bother while he hustled by himself. If I could give 0 stars, I would! The server was awful, she had holes In her uniform and her hair looked like it hasn't been washed in weeks.. makes the ice cream look unappealing. I always would come to my closest cold stone to me at first I would go all the time and it was all good besides the delivery orders . I am changing my stars o the review from 4.5 to 1 because of my last experience. I was so upset!!! I had called in my order 20 mins prior so that I would be use my order was ready, and when I get to the shop I parkered in the 25min parking and went in the 2 people in line. I went to the register to pick up my order and waiting 10 mins before someone spoke to me and asked it if I was here to get a order. I said yes and was in a hurry because by now Its been 30 mins from the day i placed my order. This man went to the back and same out 2 mins later with what looked like to be the manager and said we had a line and it just went down so we will make it for you now. No apologies no discount no nothing the younger girl that was working there didnt even acknowledged by anyone there and on the wall I read how they take pride in the customer service. Unfortunately I wont be going back to this one I rather take a drive somewhere else. Do your self a favor and go somewhere else where people care about the service they give you. read more

Buyer beware! The Alhambra Coldstone falsely advertises, overcharges their customers & then blames the customer for not asking for their daily special before you pay. Here's what happened... Alhambra Coldstone advertises on a self-printed paper their daily specials. This paper is posted on the glass plane where their ice cream is kept /displayed. The Friday special is buy 2 Create-your-own creations for $7. So we ordered 2 sets for a total of 4 & a Founder's Special. We were charged a total of $25.34. When I questioned why we charged so much & the manager said because we didn't specifically asked for the special so we were charged the regular price of $5 each. When I explained that that's false advertisement & they were intentionally overcharging their customers, the manager said that I was the first customer who has complained about this. I demanded a refund on the overcharged amount & she refused. Long story short, I threatened to post my experience on social media & the manager hesitantly have me a refund. She accidentally wrote on my receipt explaining why she had to give a cash refund. When she realized this, she asked me to give her my receipt. Obviously, I refused. read more

Walked in today because it was a hot day and what else can make hot days more bare able. I did not really know what I was in the mood for so I checked out their menu which made it more difficult to decide because everything looked so good. Not only do they have pre made signature ice cream, you can create your own ice cream. I decided to create my own and I got really creative with it. I got cheesecake with strawberries, pie crust, kit kat, white chocolate chips and banana. The staff was also friendly even though it was very busy the two girls really kept it together and all smiles is what I saw on there faces as they served. Service was really great and helpful. The smell of the waffle cones also made it feel very welcoming and tasteful. Parking is also very convenient since they have a ginormous parking structure right next to them. read more
