Came here on my "treat day" and got the BOGO deal with a "gotta love it" which was a bad idea because I could not eat the whole thing but it was tasty just cheesecake ice cream with one brownie. The line was almost out of the door but on such a hot day it was worth waiting. They received a lot of tips that day so the singing was a much needed distraction from the wait. This place is amazing. You know the ice cream is absolutely delicious but what really sets it apart is the amazing customer service. The young people working the couple of times I've visited this location have all been very friendly and professional. I don't have a lot of experience with Cold Stone and they were patient and helpful with my order and allowed me to sample several flavors. I appreciated them letting me know the remaining balance of my gift card and writing it on the receipt. Where's the management?!? What a GONG SHOW for $17 ice cream. My husband and I walked in here on Sunday afternoon, to I ur surprise there were 8 employees and we were the only customers. Your staff has NO IDEA what to do, how to greet customers, or how to run a business. It's NOT THEIR FAULT, it's yours. Whoever owns this franchise needs to invest in your staffing ,training and how your employees address customers. The ice cream speaks for itself, you're good there. Very very upset with the greenbrier location! I've been a fan of coldstone for many years, but the customer service I experienced last night was horrible. There were three teens/younger adults working this evening and they were playing around and joking the entire time. I got there at 7:30 and did not leave until after 8. This is ridiculous being that they are only making ice cream. When i got to the front of the line to place my order the server rudely told me they were not making anymore waffle cones for the evening and that they didn't have any more sweet cream ice cream. I asked her what ice cream was the closest to sweet cream and her response was "all of them." I responded and said really??? And she said well i guess cheesecake. I was really blown away with the service this evening and this should really be looked into. Typically this location has a good crew. It doesn't see to matter when I come by this place is always filled with Ice Cream Enthusiasts, which should tell you how good the ice cream is at Cold Stone Creamery. There's so many ice cream options it's nearly impossible to cover all of flavors and tastes but there all FANTASTIC! The shop also has a Yogurt area for those wanting a more health conscious choice. Although I respect that and health is a big part of my meal decisions it has no place in my choice of this particular ice cream...because it's to dang good. Service: efficiency with a smile...and a catchy tune every time someone tips but that can get old if there's a lot of people and a lot of tips. Cleanliness: Good but could be better as most the tables need some form of wiping down from the young child enjoying their ice cream the way they should. Bathrooms are about the same. Overall: The only thing that makes going here is the price. It is costly ice cream as family of four can hit the $35.00 to $40.00 depending on the sizes you're kids can eat and the number of toppings but for us it's worth it, as long as we don't come too often. 5 Stars read more

This is the worst experience ever!! The employees are so lazy and have horrible customer service! We walked in and nobody greeted us. They took forever to say anything with 5 employees behind the counter. I assume they were doing online orders. But they could have at least said I'll be with you shortly. A young lady with black & purple braids rudely came to the counter saying "what do you want"! Almost every time I come in to this location, I enjoy my experience. However, tonight when I came in I was a little bit disappointed with my customer service. We had three different girls make our ice cream and two of them did an exceptional job. The third (The red headed girl....didn't catch her name), however, gave attitude when taking my sister's order. She didn't respond when my sister gave her the flavor she wanted, and was basically irritated. And then didn't even fill up the cup. If a "gotta have it" size is paid for, then I expect there to be more than what I got. Overall not very happy with this experience tonight. I understand being busy, especially at an ice cream joint. I did it for 4.5 years, but you don't need to be rude to customers, especially those who come in often. I have had two bad experiences with this Cold Stone location and I will not be returning. The first time my husband and I went in, we were the only customers in the store. We ordered ice cream in chocolate covered waffle bowls. The employee working explained that there weren't any waffle bowls already made. I told her that we would wait, and she made it clear that it would take a while. Okay, no problem. So my husband and I sit down to wait and the same employee comes back saying that the machine they use to make the waffle bowls "wasn't turned on like it usually is" and that it would take a long time to make the waffle bowls. We again told her we didn't have a problem waiting. It became apparent that she and another employee in the back just didn't want to be bothered. After 10-15 mins, we got our ice cream which tasted great, which is why I'm giving this review 2 stars. However, the employees should have been way more proactive and just made the waffle bowls without dragging their feet. The second bad experience .... I wanted to give the place another chance but I've learned my lesson. I placed an order through a new app called Seamless where you can pick up your ice cream minus the wait. I ordered the same thing again mint chocolate ice cream in chocolate dipped waffle bowls. I go inside and the staff didn't even have a clue about Seamless and after three employees got involved, my order appeared in a paper bag. I bring the order home only to find that the waffle bowls had not been dipped in chocolate. Okay whatever, the ice cream is still good. But, when I began to eat the waffle bowl, it was stale and it was hard to break apart, so I gave up. Very disappointing. This is definitely not the experience you want to go through in order to get some decent ice cream. read more

I have visited here several times and usually get pretty good service. Last saturday night was far from the case. Looked up on Yelp for the store's hours, found the coupon for the free waffle cone. Wife ordered an ice cream with 1 mix in. Handed the girl at the register her phone with the yelp coupon, which expires soon after opening. The girl could not get the number or code or whatever entered in the register and then the coupon expired. She also charged my wife for the mix-in and then said she did not know how to delete a charge and just took my wife's money. So the one ice cream with a mix-in and "free" waffle cone was charged for the waffle cone and an extra mix-in, over $7 for a cone! It was really busy and the girl at the register could not care less. They also did not put the correct flavor ice cream in my daughter's order and she corrected the girl while making it. After a little arguing, the worker read the board across the room with the description and simply threw away the ice cream she was blending and started anew. Thank good someone was paying attention. Just seemed like everyone there had no experience on a very busy night and did not have time for customer service. We all left feeling less than enthusiastic about a return trip. I am a big fan of cold stones and left a very good review for this exact location last time I was there. Unfortunately my husband and I had a horrible experience with the customer service this last visit. The young lady that helped us was so rude and didn't even acknowledge us the whole time! She was too busy talking to follow employees about how excited she was to go to Walmart after she got off her shift and how "epic" it was going to be...Didn't say a word to us at check out, didn't even look at us. Didn't say thank you or have a goodnight... Nothing.. my husband and I stood there waiting for a receipt or some kind of acknowledgment that we were done checking out... She just walked away from the register and we even asked for a receipt but didn't get one.. she acted like we didn't exist. Very weird experience considering we were happy to be there until she started helping us. Oh and for future reference military discount day is Monday, no longer Tuesday...according to this employee... Ice cream was good at least but we will take our business elsewhere... Who doesn't like ice cream? I mean, come on. I usually get the peanut butter waffle cone my lovely girlfriend is a fan of the Birthday cake remix. The first time I went to a Cold Stone, I didn't realize that tipping the workers there requires them to start singing and putting on a little jig. I felt kind of guilty cuz I didn't know a singing number needs to be performs when tipped. The kids and I got ice cream and my friend took advantage of the yogurt bar. Everyone enjoyed their frozen treat. The cheesecake ice cream with blueberries was awesome. The "younger" staff had a lot of patience while the 6 yr old made her choice from the varieties of ice cream and add-ins. Very bad experience. First off, way too busy on a Wednesday night to just have 2 employees working. First thing I notice about the employee - she forgot to switch out of her Chick Fila visor and forgot to put on her Cold Stone visor today. Employee made the ice cream the same as usual, and the products tasted the same as usual. However she charged me incorrectly for my order. I also added a tip to my credit card receipt and they did NOT sing??? Then after what seemed to be a shift manager or supervisor showed up later in the all black outfit, they started singing for every tip received. Where's my song guys??? This was my only reason for tipping so my daughter could enjoy the song, I obviously didn't tip you for over charging me.... Good luck! read more

I would leave 0 stars if I could. Went in and bought 5 like it ice creams. The cheesecake ice cream taste freezer burnt. The mixed in pound cake was beyond stale and my sister had a synthetic hair in her ice cream. Upon finding the hair my sister walks back to register where they start to explain that the owner "Sanjay" did not allow them to process refunds for any reason. That we can come back at 5 to wait for the manager "Kim" who also isn't allow to refund or we could call the store and catch the owner there whenever he returns from Canada. Unacceptable! I will never visit this cold stone again and I will report this location and owner to corporate. Threatening to fire employees for issuing any refund is despicable. read more
