But there's not much to say about this awesome ice cream shop, other than the fact that if you can't find/don't wanna make your own creation out of the 20 or so different toppings and at least 20 different kinds of ice cream...then they have about 15 or so different "house" (for lack of a better word) creations. My personal favorite is the Mint Mint Chocolate Chocolate Chip. Haven't been there in a long while, but I'm pretty sure it consists of mint chocolate chip ice cream, extra chocolate chips, fudge, and brownie chunks. I like this place because it stands out. Crafted ice cream that you can't really get anywhere else. What can go wrong there? The down side to this establishment is it's usually dirty. I don't know if the employees don't have time to clean or just don't make it a regular habit. It seems like every time I have gone by in the last couple of years, I have to look for the clean table, and there's only three. Good ice cream though, so just get it to go. Plus they let me use a coupon from their eclub! Score! Overall I would rank this coldstone on par with the riverpark location. WORST CAKE ORDER EVER!!!! I placed an order for a cake with very simple piping and was handed an absolute MONSTROSITY with a huge smile...they were actually proud of the epic failure they presented to me. The girl who took my order took the picture of the piping I asked for and even checked in the back before I ordered to make sure it was as easy as it appeared to be. I stood there shocked when they brought it out and stunned just repeating "this is not what I ordered." They proceeded to ring me up and charge me EXTRA.....when I asked what the charge was for the girl very proudly said "all the piping"...baffled! On top of that the topping was just all colored whipped cream and smooshed all into the sides of the container lid. Disaster! My family visited the Clovis Ca location last night and have been there numerous times but this was the first time we had absolutely horrible service. The lady working there was in a serious bad mood. I don't know if she was bothered we walked in (they had no customers when we arrived) or what? She wasn't just rude to us but to every customer that walked in after us. She wasn't patient with us as we wanted to try different flavors for our 3 year old to see which he wanted. We dined there but she bagged everything up and never asked if we were eating it for here or not. We came in at night before closing and by the time we went home to have dessert my kids found their ice cream with hair in it. Theyclosed by the time we discovered it so we came the next day to get a replacement. Patrick "person in charge" didn't want to replace it without first arguing that we should've turned around and came back right away. He then said he would not give us a for ice cream that he would only replace what we had which was not a problem because my kid only took two bites from it. I asked him for the managers information he announced that he would not be able to give out her personal information, I asked for her name and apparently that was confidential as well. He finally gave me her name, "which he wasn't suppose to do". He thought it was funny that my daughter had hair in her ice cream and he and the person working stood there with smirks in their face. read more

Loved it! We showed up a "little" early before they were open. However, when they saw my two little girls and how badly they wanted ice cream, they opened up for them just like normal. Would go again in a heartbeat!! The place was clean. The tables were clean and not sticky like other ice cream shops. The attendants were kind and happy to serve us even though the weren't yet "on the clock". When my daughters chose their flavors, the attendant gave recommendations of what fillings would go well with their choices. Service was quick and the atmosphere was fun. I went in last week on the hunt for a "gender reveal" cake, which they don't technically do. Being that I was searching "last minute" I had a hard time looking everywhere that made these cakes! So I came here and I had picked an already made cake and asked if they could scrape off what was on the cake and "re decorated" it to what I wanted it to say. We love coming to this place for a cold treat. They make their ice creams home made. They have the lightest of waffle cones. I've tried waffle cones at other ice cream spots but this place has the best by far. My favorite ice creams are their coconut with shaved coconut and their rocky road or their smores. Let me get started by saying that the service here is horrible. I haven't been to cold stones in a while, I now remember why. Because yogurt!!!! One advantage over this shitty franchise, is that yogurt let's you sample their yogurt. I asked the blonde in cold stones, if I can sample a flavor and she tells me no and then she tries to mumble her way out of it. The man that I was unfortunate enough to be served by was by far the most rude and inconsiderate person I have ever had to deal with in this kind of industry. Great ice cream! It was very busy tonight and the staff kept the line moving, while providing service with a smile. The only thing I am confused about is if they have a kids size or not. Stopped in today for some last minute goodies for a birthday party. Showed up about five minutes before opening and waited till they opened the door for us. The guy was very welcoming and helpful. He came out of the back kitchen at least twice to ask how we were doing and if we needed any help. He even reminded us that we could holler at him in the kitchen and he'd be right out. We decided on some pre made ice cream sandwiches and checked out. While we checked out, the guy made conversation with us, asked us about our occasion, suggested a cake, which we explained the sandwiches were different and more fun. He then tells us that we could pre order next time for no additional cost and get them custom made. I really felt like this young gentleman went out of his way to be friendly and accommodating and I really appreciated that, especially since we were there right at opening on a Sunday morning!
