We received a gift card to Cold Stone a few months ago, but only recently had a chance to use it. It's been a long time since I visited this spot, and remembered why. We arrived to a rather unexcited staff, not overly welcoming, and not overly eager to tend to us. My wife and I both got a couple of ice cream flavor samples but were made to see it was a real inconvenience. The interior is badly lit, with a very yellow and dingy look, does not give very clean vibes. I got the Oreo overload in a cup, "love it" size...just call it small/medium/large...the cutesy name game is old! The worker made it quickly, and loaded it with lots of Oreos. Fortunately we got there when we did, as there was no line, but as we sat and enjoyed our treats the line began to form and got long quick....and with only one attendant working it was bound to be a long wait. It's been a while since we have been here. Staff were great and helpful. Ice cream was as good as always. My only issue is that the interior was looking a little dated and not well maintained. That didn't change the fact that everything else was perfect. They could use some better and bigger chairs as well. read more

As an ice cream fan, I love the variety Cold Stone has to offer. I went their recently to claim my Birthday BOGO offer. I got a founder's favorite, and a seasonal special, The apple of my pumpkin pie. I love fudge, caramel, and brownies in my ice cream which was delivered to me in the Founder's Favorite. On the other hand, I was curious about the Apple and pumpkin pie concoction that I am happy to report that I liked. Went last night for ice cream and I will say the team working last night did not do very well with customer expectation or fulfilling my order. I ordered a Milk and Oreo shake and it was very thin and they did not even ask or put whipped cream on top, come on one of the best parts of a milkshake is the whipped cream. I ordered The Way the Cookie Crumbles and the young lady looked at the board three times to see how the it was made which was fine however, after she scooped the ice cream and pulled the Oreos out she made the comment oh we are out of frosting. This is poor customer service she should know if she had frosting or not and should have told me prior to prepping. This location is dirty . The threshold walking into the store is filthy. Even the napkin holders were dirty. They need to clean up. They had no waffle bowls or cones . The day I went I did not witness hand washing once in between customers. I asked about the sanitation ratings, I was told, they don't get one. Serving ice cream or food without washing your hands is unsanitary. You can't process money/payment and then go serve and prepare ice cream/food. If a manager is reading this, please comply with hand washing in between customers. I have worked in fields where I have to wash my hands constantly, and I know it dries the hands and can be considered a burden, but customers will thank you versus suing you over an outbreak. read more

I love Cold Stone Ice Cream. It has a certain creamy texture to it that makes it an amazing treat any time during the year. The store is usually pretty clean but the staff can be hit or miss. Sometimes they will go out of their way to serve you and be nice. Other times they either take forever to notice you and take your order or they act like they can't wait to get done with your order so they can go back to their conversation with their friends who came in to eat. The bottom line is if you are coming just to get the food and not be wowed by the service then this is a great place otherwise forget it. P.S. Please Cold Stone... Who doesn't like ice cream?! This time of year is the best to visit Cold Stone even though it's cold outside. Why, you ask? Because of Pumpkin Pie in the Sky ice cream combination. Pumpkin flavored ice cream with whipped cream, gram cracker crust, and caramel...holy crap it's good. Now even though the ice cream at every Cold Stone is the same this one is the best because of the people that work there. We have never had a bad experience there. My husband wanted a "brownie Sunday" and the lady behind the counter refused to give him a brownie with ice cream. She said cold stone never had a brownie ice cream creation. So we had to talk her into making a brownie ice cream mixture. She wasn't very nice and definitely refused to make the customer happy. Like all restaurants where they leave teenagers to run it you just hope it's clean and they don't contaminate your food. This Cold Stone suffers from leaving teenagers in charge. We waited patiently while waiting for an employee to show up at the counters. By the time she appeared the line was ten people deep. She called her two coworkers to come help but only one showed up at the counter. The boy working there didn't seem to be interested in working. The dining room was a mess. All of the tables were dirty, there was food on the floor and the three working didn't seem to care or notice. The ice cream was good but that didn't matter. I personally love cold stone, but this one is just so poorly managed. I called the store before I went to see if the manager was in because I needed to make a custom cake. The girl who answered the phone did not answer my question but instead referred me to ordering online, I gave it a try and when I went to confirm my order it said that this location was not excepting pick ups. So then I drove to the store to be told that the manager has just stepped out for break, leaving only one person in the store. JUST TERRIBLE. The ice cream was soup, and expensive soup at that. It was also not very good soup, low quality ice cream that tasted sticky and odd. I'm not sure where it melted since this is "cold stone", but I assume the problem started in the coolers. It has to be old and not chilled properly to taste like that. Also, only one employee, so be prepared to wait. The cherry on top was they DID NOT ACCEPT my Cold Stone Creamery reward card. I came with kids, to use my reward. But they refused to accept it, even after calling the owner on the phone. So, I guess they don't care.
