This is a great location. They have great customer service, and I really appreciate that. I have never written a bad review before in my life, and I work in food service so I consider myself to very patient when it comes to customer service, but I think people need to know that customer service at this location is the worst I have ever experienced. I ordered an ice cream make for my birthday two days prior, and I was supposed to pick it up on the day of. I placed my order, I was informed the order went through, received a receipt, and I was told I was going to receive a text message when my cake was ready for pick up. Two hours had passed by on the day of pick up, and I had not received a text so I went to cold stone to ask if my cake was done, since my birthday dinner was about to begin. When I arrived there was only one person in the shop, she informed me that they did not have the cake. When I asked for more of an explanation, she said she did not know what happened. There was also no manager on site to help me. The location I was at was correct, I paid for the cake in full, and I had my receipt, it was simply not there. She offered me a different cake that they had in the shop, but all of the cakes looked like they had been sitting out for weeks, disgusting. I was really upset, but of course I could not get too mad at this girl, she clearly did not know how to help. I asked for a refund, since they had no problem taking my money. The girl told me that she was not authorized to refund me, and that I needed to speak to a manager, again there was no manager on site. She asked me to write down my contact information in order for the manager to contact me when they arrived. In the end I was down 50$ and left with no birthday cake on my birthday. They told me that they would contact me for my refund, but apparently the management at this location is incompetent, so I had to call for my refund almost a week later. They told me to call back at 7pm because that is when the manager was on site. I called back, and I got no response. I had to call back multiple times until anyone picked up the phone and the manager was able to talk to me. The management at this location is a joke. If you are going to sell 50$-80$ cakes, you need to make sure you give the customer what they paid for, and if you can't do that just give them their money back immediately. Everything at this location is overpriced, but I wanted to treat myself for a special occasion, I'll be sure to go anywhere but here next time. I rate the experience a 5 while my BF says 4. He says 4 because you can't sit inside which did suck since it was 100 outside. We got a coffee ice cream with Oreos as our 1 free add on and it was soooooo good! I recommend that combo. They were well stocked with a lot of choices of ice cream and toppings. Do not, I repeat DO NOT go into this location at night. Kind of ironic that an ice cream store can be 10 to 15 degrees hotter than outside. They are not even allowed to leave the doors open. I rarely go to Cold Stone, but I had a craving. And I've thought long and hard before attempting to write this review, but I couldn't get over what I witnessed. Ice cream is ice cream and it was good, but a bit pricey. While I was there I saw an employee being reprimanded because she made an item wrong. There's nothing wrong with letting an employee know that they made a mistake or did something, but the person in charge who I assume is a manager took the shake or smoothie and threw it on the floor in front of everyone including other customers. That poor employee must've been mortified. It was unprofessional and definitely not okay. Especially if that was a manager because they are suppose to guide employees and encourage them, so they would work harder. It was disgusting to see how the manager was screaming and bullying her employee she was definitely on a power trip! I do not recommend this cold stone at all! This place really needs to add another register to keep up with the crowd. Not only that but they need a better system on who made whose drink. It took about 20 minutes just to get to the register and even when I got there they didn't know what I ordered. The lady who took my order couldn't remember taking my order. I love ice cream, however as a doctor, a soon to be octogenarian, a diabetic, and the husband of a walking weight watchers program, I can seldom get my fix. Sometimes I only come into the store to smell the ice creams and watch younger healthier people get to partake. However this time was different! An employee named Lindsay helped coach another employee named Josue or Joshua or something like that...I didn't quite catch his name exactly, but they taught me about the no sugar added and non dairy options in a competent fashion that caused me to trust they knew what they were talking about. Now I feel free to come back knowing there are options for me...much healthier options! Look at me, the ramblings of an old man. I digress. Awful, awful! I ordered over $25 of ice cream and the customer service was horrible! The manager/supervisor polo black shirt was filthy, with brown, white stains of all the ice creams and all. I ordered a funnel cake ice cream and the portion was under standard. Some of it was burnt and portion was under your standard. I know exactly what happened! They toasted it too much and pick off the burnt area which made the portion smaller than normal and they still served it. This was for my pregnant wife, so she had to wait, awful! I brought it to supervisors attention and she was having a bad hair day and excuses and tried to back her self up. She made me a new one and it looked nicer but was tanted with her dirty hands from dirty money from other guest. Then I had to go back to get a spoon and she made me wait for it! My ice cream was melted! Scooped right out of the bucket and it was mush. The "free" topping is a joke, they drizzle on like half a teaspoon of hot fudge, wasn't even worth it. For the price I'm paying, it better be the best ice cream I have ever had and this was no where near that. And one girl touched money and then started serving people without washing her hands or putting on gloves. My daughter said this place was worthless, and I should have listened. To say I was treated with awful customer service at this Cold Stone is an understatement. For starters my friend and I walked into the store to be instantaneously yelled at that we weren't in line and that the line formed in another spot. It wouldn't have been a big deal but there was a sign on the door that said please use other door and that's how the line was set up by the employees. In my opinion this needs to be better thought out and customers should not be yelled at over this bad set up. With already a bad first impression we proceeded to wait 10 minutes until Stephanie finally came to help my friend and I. She asked what she could get started for us when my friend asked if she could sample the cake batter ice cream. Stephanie said, "Okay so you don't know what you want yet, well do you have your mind made up," as she looked at me. I actually said I would also like to try a sample as well. She replied, "Great so you are both undecided!" Turning to the party behind us asking if any of them were "actually ready" to get something started. My friend and I were honestly shocked by how rude she was. We then proceed to wait an additional 5 minutes for someone else to help us. Not to mention Stephanie wasn't done with her rude remarks. As we paid and were leaving the store Stephanie made one last rude comment to my friend and I about how we messed up the line and now everyone was entering the wrong way as she continued to yell at everyone to move the line. Came here after visiting the aquarium, about a month ago on a Thursday Afternoon because I was craving ice cream and it was the closest one. When I walked in, I knew this would not be a good experience. Their layout for line waiting and where their doors are located was confusing! But whatever, I was a little high so maybe that's just me, and this is not the point. There were only 2 people ahead of me that had, I'd say, simple orders, but yet my boyfriend and I waited for 30 minutes just to place an order!! Still, we wanted ice cream. So we had loads of time to look and relook over their menu. We both decided on a signature item that they have displayed very obviously dead center on the menu above, it was like the cookie dough extravaganza thing. There were 3 people working, a guy that looks like he's been working there for some time and 2 young girls that had no idea what they were doing AT ALL! So one of the girls asked for our order, we said the name of what they had displayed, she looked at us like we were idiots and had no idea what that was. Gave me some sass while I explained to her it's right there on the board and pointed. She claimed she could not see it. This went on for 10 minutes of me telling her where to look for this item. She finally saw it. My mind is blown. She starts trying to make this... keeps looking at the board to see what ingredients are in the dish. Now I am not kidding, she took about 4 cups of mini chocolate chips and dumps it all over the ice cream. RUINED. (When I finally got to eat my ice cream, I literally was chewing mouthfuls of chocolate chips it was disgusting) then she has to chop up the cookie dough. Well this girl was probably 100 pounds no muscle. She tries chopping this frozen solid (which was brutal to watch) the guy employee yells at her because she didn't microwave it first (which is something they always do? Gross..) she's being a huge bitch to him about it and then starts chopping the microwaved cookie dough into my ice cream. I could tell she had no care or muscle left to chop anymore so there are hockey puck sized cookie dough bites in the ice cream. Then whatever else was in it, they were out of. So pretty much I could have just ordered some chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream... but that was not what I paid for!! No I had to pay for their stupid signature item price since that's what I asked for, but yet they couldn't give me everything it included. This whole event of getting ice cream took about an hour. Then we paid full price of about $40. I couldn't even eat the ice cream it so was gross, we basically just threw away $40. Now this was a SPECIAL experience. But thought I'd share. My friend and I had decided to visit this location of Coldstone Creamery, as we are huge fans. But the experience with this store was absolutely outrageous. There were 5-6 workers and they couldn't even handle taking care of two customers. I ordered a caramel frap and my friend had ordered ice cream with waffle cone pieces. The girl helping us asked if it was okay if she put the waffle pieces in the ice cream, as it was a 99 cent charge. We said yes, accepted the charges, waited 5 minutes for these lazy girls to get their crap together to make a frap and an ice cream, only to forget the waffle pieces, make me wait 10 minutes for my frap, and NOT have water cups? I'm pretty sure ice cream establishments allow people to have water cups. So we ended up buying 2 small water bottles for 5 dollars! Ridiculous! This leaves a terrible taste in my mouth, Coldstone Creamery! Get your lazy workers together! read more

I have patron this particular location twice and each time I have been extremely disappointed. Each time I was not please with my order. They are extremely stingy with their toppings and they do not provide proper servicing size. I did complain to the employees and they remade my order I was still not pleased. Really disappointed with customer service tonight. I ordered a small (like it) and I was given a medium (love it) because they ran out of small cups..however I was still charged for a medium....and I ordered one topping and was charged for an extra topping. When I checked price I notified the cashier that she over charged me. The cashier brought over who I assume was the manager for the night. She was terribly rude and asked me to wait to so that she can ring up a large party, which isn't a huge deal, but it was her tone. This place caught my eye because of course I have a sweet tooth, One thing about it is it is pretty empty, I know its a chain place, but I was just curious to see what they have really. The lay out is pretty simple nothing to really go "ooooooooh and ahhhhhh about. The staff was very friendly. and I was very surprised at the variety they have here. You can go to nutritious shake on one end. Or you could go to an ice cream cookie sandwich with fudge, sprinkles, and chocolate chip in between it that will be for sure to not only satisfy your sweet tooth, but make your fat level go up as well. I took the middle course though and got a smoothie. It had a corny name "cake and bake" it consisted of cake batter ice cream, which I wish they sold in stores after eating this. Regular pound cake, and I asked for sprinkles as well. This smoothie was very good I must say. Although I am not a big fan of the pike, really as it is pretty "ghetto" as they call it, I can maybe see myself going back to this place if I am in the area. Although I have had better ice cream. This place offers a variety of flavors, and also a variety of toppings so you can create pretty much whatever kind of desert you want. Worst "service" ever! The two female employees claimed they made the wrong sizes for our order, tried to overcharge us, and then took back the ice cream after giving it to us to pick out the "extra". When I demanded a refund, they took their sweet old time, and LAUGHED at us. Then they threw all the ice cream and waffle bowls in the garbage. This place does not even deserve one star. STAY AWAY! The ice cream is fine, it is the normal stuff you'd expect when you go to any of the locations. However, the place is kinda dirty like others have reported. The space is very oddly shaped, resulting in poor use of space. Half the floor space is roped off, sometimes creating lines that go out the door. Service is another thing. The lines aren't that long, but we waited 30 minutes to get ice cream once. The slow service seemed to be due to being short staffed, and it doesn't help with expediency that they have to weigh the ice cream now to make sure of correct portions. The rhyme-chanting when they get a tip is also lackluster. I know this is a Cold Stone tradition, but it is really kind of sad to see employees halfheartedly chant. They work hard, but they look like it's a burden to chant. The ice cream is fine, but the whole experience of buying the ice cream is not so great hat this particular location. read more
