I love Coldstone, but I wasn't impressed with this location. The employees were friendly, but not very competent. I watched an employee accidentally use a dirty ice cream scoop and then try to correct the mistake. After being asked what my order was four times, I received it and they didn't even fill the 'like it' cup. I won't be going back to this one. read more

I decided to go on a Cold Stone run tonight so I looked up the hours and noticed the yelp reviews. After reading the reviews, all I could think of was, "Oh no!" I hoped that I wouldn't be given a super tiny scoop of ice cream and I hoped my waffle cone wasn't stale. So, unfortunately, my scoop of ice cream was the tiniest "like it" size I've ever experienced at any cold stone. They have a process where they actually placed the ice cream scoop on a scale to weigh it. After weighing it, the server slimmed off a section of the ice cream to make it even smaller than it originally was. What type of portion regulation does this establishment use? And, unfortunately, my cone was also stale. How can an ice cream parlor known for its indulgences be so skimpy with its portion size and mix-ins. What a flop. New ownership please!!! read more

Had a ticket for free ice cream from donating blood, so I decided to go here. Finding free parking was a chore, but that's not their fault. I ended up parking my motorcycle by an expired meter and hoped I wouldn't get caught. I got there, cozy place. There was a small line that went by pleasantly quickly. I had a choice of topping but didn't know what to get. I asked the clerk what toppings there were and he most have listed at least 20 without the slightest drop in patience. Ended up getting crushed Snickers as a topping. I got my ice cream fast and paid for it quick too, was in and out in like 4 minutes. All the time got perfect service, and the ice cream itself was good. Only problem is the topping. They must have had the Snickers behind the window for months. It was stale, hard, and tasted like it'd been there since the end of 2012 at the latest. It really took away from the taste of the ice cream. It's the only scratch against them, but it's one worth mentioning. Buyer beware with the toppings, the other ones are probably that old too. There's saving money and then there's just going too far. On the bright side I didn't get a parking ticket. Sat on my bike eating my ice cream to make sure I wouldn't. read more

They need a better system in place to accommodate all of the customers that come in. Whether it be 2 or 10. Larger groups shouldn't be pushed aside and longer waiting times based on their size. I went here on a Sunday and waited in a huge line in the hot sun to get what I thought would be excellent ice cream. Instead, I received a subpar glob of goop. I ordered mint ice cream with brownies and chocolate chips. I couldn't even finish my small order, and I love ice cream. This was simply a tasteless mass of rapidly melting flavorless cream. I'm pissed that I paid $4 for what I could have easily paid $1.50 for at Sav-On and been much happier with. Bottom line: The ice cream just didn't taste good. I stood at the counter waiting to be helped and the four employees said hello, but never asked me what I wanted. I stood there waiting for someone to help me for five minutes while they continued on with their talking and joking around. As the line built up behind me, still no one came to help. While on vacation in LBC, my beau and I were strolling around town near The Pike when he spotted this Cold Stone Creamery. When I told him I'd never eaten at Cold Stone before, he practically drug me inside just before they closed. There seemed to be a late night rush, but the staff handled it well and we were enjoying an ice cream treat within minutes. We got sweet cream with raspberries and white chocolate chips, and I am now forever addicted to this combination! It was so good, and a perfect sweet treat to enjoy on a warm October evening. read more

I don't usually write reviews but I just had to after this trip! I stopped by this location this past Thursday. The kind young man who helped me was Mauricio. He let me try a plethora of flavors and was super patient with me (I can never decide what I want.) I didn't know what I wanted for a mix-in so he recommended marshmallows! What a great choice. On a warm summer Saturday night, with a line of people to the door. . . I was expecting this visit to Cold Stone to be basic service. We were greeted by the staff as we walked in. Devonte called us over and with took our order. With all the craziness going on he took the time to smile and greet us. Asked us if we are having a great night, what brought us to Cold Stone, asked if we needed validation for parking structure, as if we were the only customers around for those few mins. Devonte by far exceeded any service I ever received from Cold Stone, and any other service establishment. So my girlfriend had to tip the jar, and with in a few seconds...the entire crew sang to it! With a entire restaurant full of customers, crew members making/taking their order they still had time to sing and dance! What a great store and crew! read more

I can't stand this place. Their previous location was bad. Their new is even worse. First off the acoustics are terrible making it difficult to understand the staff. On top of that, they sing an annoying birthday song so loudly it hurts my ears. Furthermore, they have an inefficient line system. After filling one of five orders and receiving a couple of samples, the lady attending us left and started helping other people. She was rude and made it seem like we were in the wrong. All with a fake smile on her face, super annoying. The ice cream isn't even that good. The pistachio flavor tastes like something else and the texture is a bit slimy. I got the strawberry shortcake. It wasn't good. The chick mixed it all up. It was like eating partially digested food. I normally swallow before the chewing gets the food this broken down. The chick grabs my 20 annoyed for no good reason. The line is long but not as bad as others. The staff is randomly singing crap that not even they are in to. The words are barely distinguishable.
