The ice cream was good and the staff was friendly enough. I am removing one star because of lack of hygiene. One of my biggest pet peeve is when food workers don't take the time to change gloves during the day. I watched as an employee was hand counting a wad of dirty cash wearing her blue gloves and then afterwards, wearing those same gloves, reach over and start making ice cream for the customer. I mean, what's the use of wearing gloves if you're just going to wear those same dirty gloves all day? A simple enforcement of basic hygiene practice is in order. I blame management. read more

This Cold Stone store was cranking out the vibe yesterday! The employees were happy, noisy, and seemed to be having fun while serving the customers! That's how it should be!! We got to sample a few flavors to see if we would like them. The new Strawberry Mango Banana Sorbet is delicious! We ordered 2 Love-It sized cups. You can never go wrong with having Cold Stone Ice Cream for dessert/snack! I usually get the 1/2 banana & 1/2 chocolate mixed with toasted almonds and a brownie! Mmmm!! The best thing was the song for the tips!! Most Cold Stone's I have been to don't do that any more. They ask if you want them to sing, and that shouldn't even be an option if this company wants uniformity. This particular store was singing up a storm! Thank you!! I have a love/hate relationship with this location. I love Cold Stone and I'm glad there's one that is close to work (I can walk over to grab dessert after my lunch). The one gal who works at this location is pretty cool (she wears glasses), she's always pleasant and actually enjoys working. She doesn't skim on the ice cream also. I haven't ordered a Rocky Road since my last negative encounter. Now I strictly order the Founder's Favorite signature ice cream (mind you it's $4.79 for a small). The last couple of times I've been served by the guys and they've been pretty disappointing. First off, it's NOT technically YOUR ice cream (you're an employee). Don't skim on the ice cream. The bad part is, if you order two of the same flavors, they never scoop up enough ice cream, one cup will be short changed. Don't make people feel like you're stealing from them when they're paying lots of $$ for a scoop of Cold Stone's. Just scoop more!! I'm not one to complain but I had to today. We were in the area for the Cali Vibes festival and they got super busy right at closing when the festival ended.
