Came here to try out the new boo ice cream and it was pretty good! It's black all over and kinda tastes like cake batter pretty nice. Staff was super nice and friendly ice cream came out quick and delicious. Great area I love it here since there is a lot of food options as well as this really cool playground area that kids can play in. It's also surrounded by tables in a semi circle so parents can watch the kids and eat peacefully very nice here will be back again to this location.

Thank you Cold Stone for my gender reveal ice cream cupcakes! Made it very special for my husband and I to enjoy our special moment in finding out our third baby was a girl! And they were yummy! Highly recommend if you need special orders

Great ice cream. Service is a bit on the slower side although I'm never in much of a rush. Places to sit outside lots of options to choose from. One thing I did not like was simple each order I was placing I'm very clear in speaking not one but 3 different employees ask you if you want the big size right after you say the other size you want. I pointed it out the young man dismissed it. We had four separate orders shakes and ice cream.

Sign up for the app as you may get a BOGO up front. This is a consistent chain offering quality ice cream just the way you like it. For me the ice cream bowls were slightly overcooked. Flavors were great, service was god with a happy smile and pleasant demeanor. Seating inside and outside. Since we were later afternoon it was not yet quite the rush.

Hubby and I are had a random sweet tooth, so we found ourselves here at Cold Stone Creamery. Welps, it was either this or Baskin Robbins, so Cold Stone Creamery clearly won that battle. If you haven't tried Cold Stone Creamery before, you are completely missing out. As soon as you walk in, you're immediately immersed in this sweet, heavenly smell. There are sooo many different combinations on the menu or you can create your own creation. There's a ton of toppings to choose from too. The ice cream served here is different; it's so creamy and smooth. My favorite flavors are cake batter and cookie dough (cookie dough lover for liiiife) with the graham cracker pie crust sprinkled on top. I would highly recommend this location for the customer service and cleanliness of the store. One particular team member which made my first time visit memorable at this location would have to be, Monte! Her positive attitude and warm-welcoming was very genuine.

Strawberry ice cream w/ strawberry mix-in and coffee ice cream with brownie mix-in. Gotta Have It size.

Cold Stone Creamery has great ice cream with great service! Cold Stone Creamery is a well-known chain ice cream store. What makes them different than other ice cream shops is that they have their workers use a lot of manual labor to add mix-ins to your ice cream. They have a ton of mix-ins to choose from, including brownies, candies, cookies, and cereal, and have a good selection of ice cream flavors. If you can't decide on your own ice cream creation, they have pre-designed signature creations to choose from. They also have smoothies, shakes, and ice cream cakes. What also makes them unique is that the workers sing when you give them a tip. I came to this location on a Saturday afternoon and there was a long line out the door. It actually took quite awhile to get through the line. We ordered the coffee ice cream with brownie mix-in and the strawberry ice cream with strawberry mix-in. The worker that mixed our ice cream was enthusiastic and provided great customer. It looked like a lot of muscle went into the mixing of the ice cream. The cashier was also really friendly and helpful. There were a lot of workers that were working really hard and they all seemed to be very positive and in great spirits. Both flavors of ice cream were really delicious. We ordered the Gotta Have It Size for both to-go and ate them over a few days. The strawberry was soft and creamy and the coffee was really enjoyable with the brownie pieces mixed in. Other than the long wait, we had a really good experience at this Cold Stone Creamery location.

Stopped by for some dessert late on Friday Oreo loved his pup cup while we enjoyed a banana caramel crunch and a coffee lovers only ice cream. So delicious

    Strawberry ice cream with kitkats!

"The best ice cream ever!" According to my nephew. The service was quick and you just pull up and point at the ice cream you would like a scoop of. It is nice and cool inside, perfect for hot weather in September.

The moment you walk in, the retro 1950s diner ambience immediately transports you back to classic Americana dessert culture. They've apparently been serving Sacramento for over 37 years! - Hot Fudge Sundae -- made with Gunther's vanilla & chocolate ice cream, topped with whipped cream, pralines, and a candied cherry; beautifully presented with warm hot fudge drizzled all over - Lemon Raspberry Cake -- moist sponge cake layered with lemon, raspberry, and whipped cream; balanced sweetness with buttercream-coated sides The red booth seating and vintage Americana decor really complete the nostalgic vibe. Service was friendly and quick, and the overall ambience was cozy, retro, and diner-themed. Rick's was the only place open late that had actual desserts. I mainly ate their cakes. They looked amazing. But I really did not enjoy them. Too dry. Just not good, compared to other bakeries in town. Over the years, Rick's remained a Sacramento staple, and when they opened up their new location in Midtown, the dessert community welcomed them back and embraced their sweet offerings, bigger space, and late night hours. I never went til just a couple weeks ago. Around 9pm on a Friday night I was craving banana cream pie and the husband wanted cherry pie. On Yelp search, Rick's came up as the top choice that was open. So we went and stood in the long line. The place was crowded and loud. Lively and busy vibe. Line moved at a good pace and the staff helping were nice but hurried. So we took our lil pies to go. We both liked our chosen pies. Now I know what to order if I go back to Rick's. Pies over cakes. Every time.

Yeah I guess I want (?????) I was checked on once. Mind you, only two seated tables besides me. I took a photo and blurred out faces, so it shows how empty it is and how many people are in the back having convos and neglecting customers. Close to closing time, they are probably cleaning up, but they are totally 100000% distracted by going home that it's like customers don't even exist inside anymore. They also forgot to include the marshmallow in my ice cream, but at least brought it on the side without me asking for it. But the ice cream and carmel syrup especially is good! If you have the patience for how you'll be treated, the food at least is a good treat.

Parking is a little bit hard to find, since you're mostly looking for street parking. Upon entering, the FroYo place had a nice interior that reminded me of a modern casual design with some contemporary elements that created a playful atmosphere. There were some high chair seatings to the right, and some lounge chairs to the left Unfortunately, by the time I came in, they were not allowing us to sample any of the 6 flavors which was a bummer (New York cheesecake, cappuccino, cable car chocolate, vanilla, pomegranate raspberry or euro tart). The flavors are pretty limited, so if you're looking for a place with a wider assortment of flavors, I might recommend somewhere else. However, the toppings bar was nicely stocked with a bunch of different things to choose from, which was one of its saving graces. Once you're done, you weigh your FroYo at the counter. I would've given a solid 4 stars to this place; however, while we were eating the FroYo, the man who was working decided to go into the back of his shop and listen to his shows rather loudly. I could hear the sounds from the shows over the music they were playing, so it made the ambiance a little awkward since I wasn't able to vibe to the music. Thus, creating a rather rambunctious atmosphere. Overall, I do think this place has some room for improvements, especially with their flavor profiles.
