    Spiced Hot Apple Cider
    Jarriae A.

I had the most delicious Spiced Hot Apple Cider here yesterday for Halloween! I would love to come back and try their food. This shop was very cute, it was decorated for Halloween and the workers even were on theme. I loved it! They were also very nice and open to answering questions about the menu. This is a great working space with plenty of tables and free wi-fi.

I really want to give this place 5 stars, bc the coffee, food, and atmosphere is all on point. But I always feel like the staff here is mad at me for being a customer.

I came here for a quick cup of coffee. This place was packed when we arrived and had to wait a little bit to get our coffee. They seem to have a pretty decent food menu as well, but we had just eaten so we didn't get a chance to try their food. I did take a croissant home, it looks really good, but it definitely didn't tasted all that great. My wife tried ordering their smoked vanilla mocha, but they had ran out of smoked vanilla, so I honestly don't remember what she had ordered. I wanted something spicy so I ordered their Winter Spice Latte. It came with spiced syrup, smoked cloves, and peppercorns. Sadly there as much spice in it as I had hoped but it still tasted good. Overall they seem to have a fun selection, an I can definitely see myself returning more frequently.

Service was friendly and fast. I love all of the hanging Monstera plants. It's very Zen. The inside was clean and cold on a hot summer afternoon. I got the seasonal pumpkin coffee with mallow topping and Oat Milk. The coffee was bitter, but I added 2 packets of Equal and 2 pumps of complimentary cane sugar syrup. I like my coffee sweet. The bacon, egg, and cheese croissant sandwich came with a little side of tomato salsa and it was tasty, but I wouldn't use it again. The bacon was a little thick for my liking but overall I would return as I enjoyed the sandwich and music.

Cute coffee shop with plenty of seating inside and outside! The outdoor patio is actually quite large. I came by for lunch and ordered to go via the app so I can't say much when it comes to service but the food was ready during the time the app said it would be. The impossible burrito was delicious and had a kick with the salsa. I'm not vegetarian but enjoyed it. Wish it was a little bigger. Almond croissant was also good although shaped a bit funny.

Cute little coffee shop with cozy outdoor fire pit. I got the pistachio latte and it was delicious. The staff was friendly and the coffee came out quick! Open little seating area to make it easy to pop open a laptop and get some work done!

This place is hipster and cool, clean and organized. It was a little weird that there is a wall separating the dining rooms, but oh well who cares. I got the tiny tiny little coffee cup, but my drink was too strong. It's a cute place, but not sure i would come back if i came back to Chicago

I really enjoyed my meal here, as well as my coffee. If I lived in the area and wasn't just in vacation I would probably co-work in the space. I appreciated that the big tables had signs asking people to be 2 or more to keep enough space open for others. The employees all had masks and honestly I still appreciate that too!

The cutest coffee shop! I really appreciated the decor and design of the shop because it was the perfect cozy vibe for a sunny fall day. I went with my family and we had a great time, but I could also see myself studying here and being so relaxed. The fall menu items were all so intriguing. I got the pumpkin spice fluff latte and cranberry pumpkin muffin which were both amazing. The service was fairly nice. The workers seemed really chill and were nice. Not necessarily like super attentive extremely polite kind of service, but more like a chill make yourself at home kind of polite; which is honestly what I was looking for. It's definitely a good thing. Sometimes I need a place where the workers just feel like chill friends. Loved it!

Good spot for studying. Cute indoor and outdoor seating. Baristas we're nice and have helpful suggestions on what to order. The honey lavender coconut latte was sweet and tasty. But the real star of the show was the BBQ brisket sandwich. This sandwich was heavy and hefty but so so so good! Great balance of sweet, savory, and tangibles. The horseradish sauce on the side was a great addition. I could barely finish the sandwich on my own so my boyfriend had no issue helping me finish! 10/10 recommend!!!

Fantastic management, super helpful staff. I love visiting this place nearby. The app is clutch too for skipping any wait time. Big fan! Also great vibes overall!

Cute & chill place to get some work done or for some coffee dates. Outlets all over the place (if you're seated along the window, look underneath the table for the outlet.) Currently they discount you .25 cents if you bring in your own mug for your beverages! They also had some indie rock playlist while I was there that I enjoyed :) Two unisex bathrooms in the back I was a bit concerned with the lack of upkeep with cleaning/wiping down tables in between patrons that are coming and going. Good menu with a variety of beverages, food, more fulfilling meals, & merchandise. They have a crate with games & such for people to enjoy while at the coffee shop which I thought was pretty neat.

The staff were really welcoming, for an early morning. I got the hot chocolate. Honestly that's exactly what I needed that morning. It had that real Mexican chocolate taste. Thick, creamy, smooth and rich. The cinnamon came through warm but not too strong, plus a little extra on top that hit your nose before the first sip. Sweet and it almost had this slight earthy note too... hard to explain but good. It even had that little design on top, like the ones they do on cappuccinos. Didn't expect that but it was cool. I finished it slow. Didn't wanna rush it. Just sat there taking small sips and enjoying it while it was still hot.

They also have a patio, and with the weather being nice, it was easy to just sit outside and relax for a while. I was honestly too hungry to spend much time deciding, so I just ordered one of the sourdough donut ball. It was exactly what I was hoping for. The outside had a light coating of sugar that gave it just the right amount of sweetness without being too much. Once I bit into it, the inside was soft, airy, and slightly chewy from the sourdough, which made it different from a regular donut. There was a subtle tang from the sourdough that balanced the sweetness really well, so it never felt overly sugary. It had a light crispness on the outside, then a warm, pillowy center that practically melted away with each bite. I finished it way faster than I expected. The only thing I forgot was ordering something to drink with it. Looking back, a good coffee would've made it even better. Still, I'd definitely stop by again the next time I'm in the area.

Set in an old warehouse that is now an art gallery event space and restaurant nestled in an older warehouse district in Bridgeport neighborhood of Chicago. Beautiful decor and laid out perfectly. The natural wood floors furniture ie tables chairs etc and iron work throughout sets the ambiance for old meets new. It works. The wide spacing between tables makes for a comfortable dining experience. So many folks come in to do their work and dine here. What a super addition to the neighborhood that less than a decade ago was essentially a street that was more a run down semi-truck alley. Great menu with neighborhood favorites leaning toward the old school Italian dishes. Sandwiches, soups, salads, and breakfasts just to name a few are all excellent. The pastries are insane and a must take home deal. I love the American Breakfast. Three eggs your way, thick diced America potatoes, thick cut bacon, and sourdough toast. Accompanied by what I believe to be home made jelly and for sure homemade gardiniera. Caruso's gardiniera actually. Diced into a relish unlike most standard gardiniera it's easier to eat with many dishes. Excellent flavor and just the right kick to it. FYI Dolce Arte also sells a to go line of homemade Caruso products from their gardiniera to past and past sauces and more. Yes, their coffee is really good too. Lavazza products I believe. The service is always on point. Casual but on point. Very friendly staff from diverse backgrounds. This is the place you bring people close to you, business lunches, meetings, formal ir informal, or like me, save it for myself as my own getaway spot. It's an artists dream and sets a positive time for any gathering.

I bravely went for the latin-inspired latte flights, consisting of Mexican mocha, Coquito, horchata, and cafe de Olla. My favorite out of these four was the coquito because of the coconut pieces, which blended well with the latte. I know it sounded silly, but I enjoyed chewing these coconut flakes and they were good palate cleansers! The presentation was da bomb as well. The only reason that I couldn't give five stars to "Stockyard" was limited seating. The place was super cute, but there were only 3 tables and less than 4 high chair seating against the windows, plus some outdoor seating on the pedestrian walkway. The laptop users were respectfully directed to sit at the windows and outlets were available. The baristas were friendly and knowledgeable. I asked the details of the latte flight and they explained the offerings. I thought there was only one type of latte flights, but I believe the one I selected was very much suited to my preferences. "Stockyard Coffeehouse" is accessible via routes CTA 44 (Racine/Wallace) and CTA 8 (Halsted) busses. It's great to have a reliable indie coffeeshop in the neighborhood like this, so keep up the good work!
