NEVER TAKE YOUR CAR HERE FOR SERVICE. Here is a list of issues I've experienced at Colonial Cadillac following my Cadillac being hit in a parking lot on 5/17/21. 1- By the time AAA would have been able to deliver the vehicle to Cadillac of Woburn, it would have been after hours. I called to ask where the late-night drop off was and I was told Mahoney's Garden. I relayed this to the tow truck driver. Apparently they meant to say McCue's Garden. 2- The next morning I called to confirm that the vehicle was on site. I was told that they did not have it,  even though I explained it was an after hours drop off. I panicked. They then went over to McCue's and saw that it was there. Luckily, the tow truck driver used his judgment and dropped it off at McCue's instead of Mahoney's.  What if he took it to Mahoney's?  Who would have been liable if it was damaged or towed? 3- Separate from the damage from the hit and run, my cruise control stopped working.  I was going to pay to repair the cruise control out of my own pocket . The cruise control button lights up on the steering wheel but does not engage.  I made this clear on the phone and in writing. Yet, Service Manager Christian Aylward insisted that I needed a camera, part number 23393373,  which is for the lane departure system that would cost $748.44 and would need to be ordered, delaying the repair.   I called service at a different MA Cadillac location and they said that part is not for my cruise control.   I forwarded that conversation to Christian. He said I should take it elsewhere to fix the cruise control.  4- Now, the worst part. Christian told me on 5/28 that the vehicle was ready to be picked up.  I did not have a rental, so I took the T and then an Uber to get there.  Billing mistakenly let me leave without paying my deductible. They pulled the car up.  It was filthy, and the vehicle still had damage from the accident! The body shop was not finished, even though Christian told me to pick up the vehicle. I was not able to take my car that day. A front desk person told me the wrong drop-off spot. Decisions the service technicians made at Woburn confused technicians at other Cadillac locations. The service manager told me to pick my car up when it was not ready. General Manager Alex Rogers ignored me when I brought all of this to his attention. Billing did not charge the proper amount. As you can see, from receptionist to General Manager and everywhere in between, Cadillac of Woburn is a disaster. It took me over two weeks to finally get my car back after sustaining what was estimated to be $1,000 worth of damage. I figured taking it directly to Cadillac, even though they are not a Geico preferred partner, was best. I was very wrong. If you are getting nothing but body work done, feel free to work with the body shop. But DO NOT DEAL WITH SERVICE. read more

I purchased a new Cadillac for my youngest daughter as she graduated from UCF. She accepted a position with a $multi-billion company way far away from us in Boston. I have always been nearby for any and all car related issues, but now she's on her own. First thing that happened was she barked a tire on their sharp curbs up there and damaged a wheel to boot. I called Colonial from Florida as she arrived to their dealership and was all at once put at ease. These were some of the nicest people I'd ever dealt with and they took care of my daughter and her needs as if they were family. Yesterday, my daughter hit a pothole and took out the very same tire. It was after hours, so I went to their chat line and was given the advice to call Cadillac roadside assistance and was provided their number. This person also said they would give their service department a heads up that the car would be arriving. The tow truck showed up an hour later and took her car to Colonial. This morning, my daughter had to Uber to work. I called the service department to check on her car and they were putting the new tire on and were complying with the oil change that was due. Next, THEY DELIVERED THE CAR TO HER WORKPLACE so she wouldn't have to Uber back! I cannot even begin to explain how comforting this was to a dad with a daughter so far away. Sometimes life happens as you are making other plans and that was no doubt the case about 10 days ago when a minor car accident resulted in a "totaling" of my truly ancient Honda CRV ("I absolutely love this car but hate the color" was my well known refrain for the past 8 years). The salesman, Dennis Morin, could not have been a more respectful, thoughtful person, particularly to a female buyer. Many have heard my story about shopping for a Jaguar in 2001 and while sitting in the showroom model of the car I was ready to buy, the salesman asked me to get out of the car and come back with my husband. I went across the street and bought a Mercedes. Back to Dennis and Colonial Cadillac: I highly recommend them because they are old school, family oriented professionals that want you to be happy in the vehicle you choose. We purchased a 2012 SRX and we worked with Joe Latores. I am not a review writer normally but I feel I have to warn consumers to be very diligent when talking to these people. Get everything they in writing and BE VERY SPECIFIC!! I made that mistake by test driving a car here with Michelin tires and then agreeing to a price to purchase providing they put on 4 new tires. After purchase I came to pick up my car only to find 4 cheap tires put on. No Cadillac should have Kelly edge tires on them. So I guess they think $70 tires should be fine for my family? Funny story. I saw a vehicle online that i wanted to look at and contacted Tom online. He responded quickly and we agreed to try and meet the next day. I got an email from him stating that unbeknownst to him the vehicle had been sold that evening. He presented another vehicle but it wasn't what we wanted. Of course we were disappointed but the next day I received an email from Alex the manager saying a new vehicle was arriving that morning would we like to look at that. I guess when I walked in there asking about a 45 $50,000 car they look at a 29 year old kid and laughed at him. So no problem I'll go to colonial. I was never treated better than by John Bradley and the service manager Christian Aylward. These guys go above and beyond for you. They pick up my car wherever the hell I am they bring me a loaner they clean my car and then they bring it back to me not to mention that they service it at a great price. No one will ever touch my car other than one of Christians guys and I will never buy another car other than a Cadillac from Colonial. Love my CTS Guys!!!!!!! Thank you so much. This is the worst service station I have ever been to, and I would seriously suggest to anyone having work done to their car to go somewhere else. I went in for them to check my ignition system, I just had a battery replaced and I was having issues starting it still. I wasn't sure if I got a bad one or if it was my alternator going. Once they realized it was the battery with price tag of $130 for the diagnostic (replacement battery was free) and not around $800 an alternator replacement they came up with $1,200 worth of other stuff that apparently I need. Now this is the 5th set of eyes I've had on my car in the last month. 1. There has been my oil change and transmission system check done 3 weeks ago, 2. my yearly inspection done 4 weeks ago 3. My normal mechanic fixed a motor mount, my suspension and brakes along and did a full diagnostic of my vehicle one week earlier 4. My battery was replaced 4 days ago, and they checked my alternator. None of the issues found at RC Olsen were detected by any of the 4 different sets of mechanics. Being that interstate installed a new battery 4 days earlier they dropped off a replacement at Olsen and took back the "dead" battery from my car. Here is where it gets even sketchier the battery that Olsen removed and gave back to them was not the same battery that interstate installed. The Interstate representative called me to let me know that what they got back had an April date on it (not October) and still worked! BE WARNED ABOUT THIS PLACE AND SKEPTICAL ON ANYTHING THEY TELL YOU TO DO. Also as an fyi to let people know I am serious about how it felt like they were trying to rob me. I filed a complaint with the State Attorney General's office. If anyone else has had the same problems call or file a complaint here: http://www.mass.gov/ago/consumer-resources/consumer-assistance/consumer-complaint.html Here is apparently what they said I needed. and they gave no explanation of why i needed any of it. just ratteled off a list of things tat apparently i needed and expected me to give them the ok to just do it. Right side inner CV - 450 - my normal mechanic worked on my suspension and fixed a broken joint the week before. Cleaning of throttle body - $120 Gave no reason to why I would need this Flushing of fuel injection system - $150 - also gave no reason why I needed this they also charged me $65 to re program my key fob. read more

From the day we have had It it had major problems with the stabilatrack system. Needless to say after years of them claiming to fix it, my warranty Is up and still have major problems . I called to have It repaired AGAIN, and explained I needed a loner which was Promised when we purchased car but Dave the salesman forgot To put it in agreement . So I explained all of the issues i have had over The years but the manager was not concerned . I could go on but you get the Picture!!! Traded my DTS for a luxe Toyota... Sadly RC Olsen used after market brake parts all around and were not installed properly in the emergency brake. Instead of paying Toyota for an adjustment I brought the car back with 10 days of purchase to RCO. They wrere to adjust the emergency brake and look at a low tire and possibly rotate and balance same. Neither was touched!!? The repair was done at no charge, but no repair was done! The same delated tire was on the same rim, on the same axel and when I returned to the Toyota dealer to inspect the work nor was the emergency brake fixed. I paid out of pocket for both a new set of tires and to have the emergency brake brought into order. I wonder if they would have come to my funeral if I were in a major accident? Due to their negligence? Btw, I thouht the complimentary snacks in the waiting room were for we customers, and not lax sales people? Disappointed my DTS didn't last longer...loved it but not its lack of reliability! I doubt I would return to RC Olsen ever for vehicle new or used, certainly not for service! read more

We just purchased a used car from RC Olsen a couple of weeks ago. The process was incredibly smooth and everyone was extremely nice from the front desk to the financial manager Jessica. Jessica was super helpful and went out of her way to help us. Our Salesman was Todd Burke. We truly appreciated him not being pushy or the typical cheesy car salesman we all dread. You have to do a little engaging to get him talking though. If we didn't ask him questions, he wouldn't have said a word on our test drive. It was a little awkward. He also wasn't the best at communicating with us on when we could pick up our car. We had to keep reaching out to him. After we purchased our car and brought it home, the "change oil" prompt came on and then later that day, our emergency brake became stuck. We got the brake to disengage but now the emergency brake handle cover is loose. We called Todd to ask him about the oil and tell him about the Emergency brake and he didn't seem too concerned. He said "I'm sure the oil was changed." He didn't even check for us. We had to call the service department (who was super nice) to verify our car did have the oil change. As for the emergency brake, he was very lackadaisical and said "sure, we can just look at it." There was no concern or urgency. I felt as though he didn't care that the car we literally just bought from him the day before already had an issue. All in all, a good experience. Just would have appreciated greater communication and attentiveness to issues. read more

Went in looking for a used CTS coupe. They didn't have what I wanted in the inventory, but the Sales Representative, Angel Torres, was extremely helpful. He let me take a road test with a similar car, even though he knew I wasn't buying that day, or until they had what I was looking for in stock. It was my first time driving the CTS, and I wanted to get a feel for it. He had no problem with this. I loved the car and the experience. There was no pressure, Angel was just a normal guy, and it was an overall stress-free experience. I was sorry they didn't have what I was looking for. But the good news is that now I am strongly considering buying a new one instead of used. If I decide to, I'm calling Angel first. I suggest you call him, too. read more

After being told My Car (2004 DTS Owned since new)was ready to be picked up and after Paying $6,936.39 in Cash (plus another $1,500 in Body Work insured).I started the Car in the Parking Lot and proceeded to drive Home to Wakefield.I then noticed that My Air Conditioner was On (set at 60 degrees) with the "Service A/C" warning light flashing.This was a Cold Winter's Day March 19,2015 and I never turn on My A/C unless it is at least 85 degrees outside.So,after seeing that the warning light was still flashing Hours later,I called Bill Pineo and made an appointment to return the Car the following Morning at 10:00 A.M. The following Morning I was there and had to wait Three Hours and was told that I needed a New A/C Sensor installed (App $135). So later that Day I called and booked another 10:00 Appointment.After waiting another 3 plus Hours I was told it did not need a sensor after all,that the Technican found a foreign piece of metal stuck in the wiring of the A/C system (which was more than likely caused by the Body Shop).So after spending $6,936.39 and Two Mornings and Early Afternoons of My Life (which I will NEVER get back) Bill Pineo had the nerve to charge Me another $140!
