    Chicken tenders and onion rings
    Kay R.

I had to opportunity to try out Colorado Grill over the weekend for my little cousin's graduation. They had a truck out there with burgers, and chicken on the menu. I'm a nuggies and tenders girl so I ordered that with onion rings.. OMG the onion rings are soooo good. They were crispy and hot and didn't say crispy!? So good and the chicken tenders were great also. I would definitely try their brick and mortar and get a burger. Everyone was raving about them! Seems like I was missing out!

I went here for the first time and I got the double burger and some chili fries. It came out to $19, the staff were friendly and came up to us 3 times to check if we were good and really helpful. The only thing I'd comment is that I noticed the floors were sticky.

Omg..... so good! I enjoyed every bite of my big burger and half of the chili fries. My hubby ordered the western burger and said it was perfect! There is a little wait to get your order but thats because they make everything fresh. Definitely a good and local burger restaurant.

It was such a humid hot day that we wanted milkshakes. We love Colorado Grill! They have great burgers! Today we tried something different. We ordered two strawberry milkshakes ($8.45 each). They were so good and refreshing! You have to try them.

Located a little North of Shaw, on Willow, is Colorado Grill. This old diner vibe and great customer service restaurant, reminds me of something. When we went to Fresno State, this place reminded me straight up, of Fat Burger. Chilli Fat Fries, same burger options, lettuce, onion, relish and mustard bed for the patties, huge ice cream milkshakes! Everything was delicious. Huge crispy, salty, portions of French Fries. Creamy, dense, real ice cream, milkshakes. Fresh vegetables and condiments! The beyond was flat grilled well. This place still delivers! *Fries and onion rings were ever so slightly overdone and oily, but it's nitpicking.*

Came here for the first time ever, on a weekday evening, in a group of 8- and I'm soooo happy I did! Just walking in, super cute 50's decor, clean, well maintained, and the aroma was amazing! Everyone from the cashier to the cooks were so kind and accommodating. We had made two separate orders of 4, but they made sure to put them in at about the same time so we could eat together. You walk on up, order at the counter, and have a seat. I highly recommend dropping some extra love in that tip jar...they were tending to the restroom, cleaning the tables, and bringing out fresh, absolutely delicious food. These are hard working, genuinely awesome people who care about their customers and their experience! I ordered the beyond burger with onion rings, and devoured it all! The kid's meal was crazy ample in size, and the fries were fresh & yummy too! Also enjoyed at our table were chicken sandwiches, burgers, skinny fries, and beverages. They have of course ketchup, but I also recommend trying the bbq sauce and spicy ketchup... good times! All in all, I can't say enough about this gem of a 50's diner...ya gotta check 'em out!

This place was a recommendation from a friend. We saw they had award winning burgers and were so excited. This place did not disappoint. We each ordered a single burger and fries. I got steak fries and my husband got seasoned fries. The service was great. The girls up front was helpful and patient. It was a diner/style burger place. You order up front and they bring you the food. We ordered a chocolate shake before leaving and it was thick and delicious! We can't wait to go back and try the onion rings.

Great burgers, vegetarian burgers (beyond and veggie patty), steak fries and onion rings! Everything was great!!! They made everything fresh to order! You can taste it. I've only had Colorado - Grill once, years ago. I enjoyed it but haven't been back. I'm so glad the bf and I stopped by on a whim as we drove by. We both loved the food! Service is great and fast - esp for a Friday night. It was a great middle ground between fast food and a dine-in restaurant. We were on a time pinch and Colorado grill delivered! Burgers are grilled and thick. There are great options for how you'd like your burgers! Bf loved the shredded lettuce on his 1/8 patty. I liked how they had the veggie patty and beyond. I got the jalapeno cheddar and substituted it with the beyond. The onion rings were so crispy and hot! Steak fries were cooked perfectly and soft on the inside! The quality and prices are great. Service was great! Everything was amazing. So so glad we stopped by this local joint. Eat local, support local! Thank you!!!

We love Colorado Grill! Everything is made fresh and you can tell by the taste. I always get the burger in grilled sourdough, yum! The service is always wonderful and they make you feel so welcome. I am a little bummed they started charging for sauce and then you get such a small side of it. It is decorated like a 50's style diner, super cute!

Yes it's soup but beyond that the experience in the presentation is completely different. It was a little quieter and more laid-back it felt a little bit more upper class. I feel like I would have to come here two or three times to fully find what my favorite things are. I tried the spicy miso broth. But if I come back, I'll get something different and I'll probably have to try a few before I end up finding my exact favorite. The experience here was more about timing and what you're cooking instead of making a soup with everything in it and then eating it. I would have to say that everything that I had was good. Not really big on tofu and their money bags tasted OK a little bit sweet in the end. The corn was really sweet to me. I like both of the mushroom types that they had their my wife only liked one of the two. My broth came out amazing. I added cilantro, green onion, and their hoisin sauce along with some lime. We also got Ramen noodle. It didn't seem like it was gonna be a lot of food. I felt like we were gonna be hungry by the time we got done eating everything. But it turned out in the end we were both full and not needing anymore. I would say this is a little bit more expensive than JPot. But I think this would be a nicer place to bring a date to overall experiences and presentation is better. I would say the service here was really good. We were well taken care of. I always say that you should make reservations if you're gonna come. We walked in when it didn't look like it was full or busy, but we still had to wait 30 minutes to be seated. At least there's a little bit to walk around and do around here so you have other shops and places to see if you have to wait. Overall, I would give this a five star review. But my honest opinion is I would rather eat at JPot. But I might only be saying that because I have my favorites over there and I didn't leave here creating a favorite in my mind. I left here thinking next time I come back. I'm gonna try different stuff. Again everything is good

Food wise though, I thought it was just okay. The Tonkotsu broth was pretty bland and lacked the richness/flavor I was expecting. The Taiwanese Signature broth was definitely better and had much more flavor, but overall I still wasn't blown away by the food. For the amount you're paying, I personally don't think the taste quite matches the price point. I'm glad I tried it and the overall experience was nice, but would I return? Most likely not. Worth trying at least once though!

I ordered the **BBQ Bacon Cheeseburger**, and while the presentation wasn't the most impressive, it does come with an onion ring, which is a nice touch. It's not my favorite burger on the menu, but it's still very good. I'd give it an **8/10**. The **Monster Burger** is where it's at, though! This is easily a **9/10** and one of those burgers you really can't go wrong with. The portion size, quality, and price are all excellent, and I especially love that it comes with two different types of cheese. Definitely one of the best options here. We also ordered the **Southwestern Salad**, which was really good. I would recommend asking for extra dressing because it could definitely use a little more. Overall, I'd give the salad an **8/10**. The **fries are always a 10/10**. The side portion is huge and easily enough to share, which makes it an even better value. The drinks are good as well. The **service is always top-notch**. They treat you like family, and the food comes out quickly. I also like that the restaurant has both a traditional service side, where tipping is optional, and a self-service side where you find your own table and pick up your food, so tipping isn't necessary. The **ambiance is one of the best things about this place**. If you're a sports fan, you'll love it. There's tons of sports memorabilia throughout the restaurant and plenty of TVs showing different games. It's a great place to hang out, grab some food, and watch sports. Being right across the street from Fresno State is also a huge plus. The only real downside is the **parking**. They definitely need to find a way to increase the amount of parking because it can be difficult to find a spot. Overall, this is a great place with **good food, generous portions, reasonable prices, excellent service, and an unbeatable sports atmosphere**. Definitely worth checking out!

The one time we have clearly overcooked meat that tastes like horse the manager completely dismissed my 72-yo mother in a very rude way. I guess selling "1000s of sandwiches today with zero complaints" is good enough to completely dismiss us. What likely happened was they saved the overcooked meat till the end of the day (we went 20 minutes before closing) and we were the schmucks that got it. What really pissed me off though is that the manager had veins popping out of his neck. The way he was talking to my elderly mother was inappropriate. Thankfully he cooled down when I walked up to the conversation. All she wanted was to replace our 4 tritip sandwiches with another. Whoever the manager was needs some serious customer service training and needs to learn how to speak to people.

We sat at the bar on a busy Thursday in Fresno, and honestly, I highly recommend doing the same. This is a quick-service-style restaurant where you can wait in line to order and then be seated, but snagging a seat at the bar gives you a completely different perspective on the experience. Aaron and Johnny were an absolute dream team. If you're there on a Wednesday or Thursday, look for these two. When they told us to "sit back and relax," they actually meant it. We didn't want for a thing. Water stayed full, we were consistently checked on without ever feeling hovered over, and their food recommendations were some of the best restaurant suggestions we've had in a while. And that last part is important... the suggestions weren't just upsells, but instead they were thoughtful and intentional recommendations that genuinely complemented what we were ordering. You could tell they weren't just trying to add another item to the ticket but were really were trying to make our meal better. That kind of service is becoming very rare, especially in a quick-service setting. Meanwhile, the restaurant itself had that great something's happening here energy. Busy, lively, people coming and going, the bar buzzy. This is exactly the kind of place you want to stumble into on a Thursday night in Fresno. Heirloom gets balance. It is casual enough to feel approachable, but intentional enough that you leave feeling like someone actually cared about your experience. And with Aaron and Johnny behind the bar? Sit back. Relax. Let them take it from there. (Side note, I believe it is Johnny but might be John, I know for sure if you are manager of this place you know who I am talking about!)
