Haven't been to this location but visited when they were located in DTLA. Loved it. Delicious food. Hole in the wall spot for great Italian food. I will visit soon.

Amazing cozy little place, the service is very attentive and the food is delicious and quality without seeming overly commercial. We always had filled cups, whatever cutlery or etc we needed, and they didn't hesitate to suggest better options from their experience once you communicated what you wanted. I enjoy their stew ciopinn here the most and always get it, I have tasted their other pasta offerings from my fellow diners and everything tasted good. We also enjoyed their panna cotta dessert the berry reduction sourness with the sweet creamy panna cotta was a very nice end to the meal. Parking is very difficult though, they have an alley mostly for staff cars and there is no street parking, we often have to park blocks away and walk over. It is also easy to miss the restaurant entrance from the road if you are unfamiliar with the area.

What a lovely experience at Colori! My son is a huge pasta aficionado so any chance we get to cross off another Italian restaurant off our list, we do. I loved the homey-ness of Colori and that it's family owned, you just can't beat that. My son wanted to get the bruschetta which was absolutely delicious and so addicting. He also got the carbonara and we both enjoyed it however agreed we would want to try other items on the menu next time as well as get something for dessert so stay tuned for part 2!

I ordered delivery from this place. My food had hair all over the chicken and pasta. This is gross and unacceptable in any food establishment. I thought maybe the food was mishandled after my order, giving the restaurant the benefit of a doubt, however nothing was out of placed in the delivery. Everything from the chicken and pasta were organized in the container properly. So this made me realized the hair (multiple) on top and in the chicken were from the restaurant itself. Guys please check your food before eating it at this place. I ended up throwing everything I ordered from here in the trash. I will never order or come back here again.

I recently discovered this charming little hole-in-the-wall restaurant during a reunion with friends. I've lived nearby for a while and was surprised I'd never come across it, though I can see how it might go unnoticed. Still, it's a hidden gem and absolutely adorable for what it is. This cozy, rustic Italian spot is tucked between a plaza and a Dollar Tree. As you walk in, you're warmly greeted by a sweet couple who I believe are the owners. The lush greenery and beautiful mural inside made me feel like I had stepped out of LA for a moment and surprised that this was here all along. I ordered the shrimp carbonara. The pasta was perfectly al dente, and the sauce had great consistency without being too heavy or mushy. As far as the shrimp goes, it was cooked just right--tender and not rubbery. I also sampled a few bites of my friend's Lasagna De La Nonna. It was rich and hearty but definitely on the heavier side. However, you can clearly taste that it was made with care and quality ingredients. Another great perk about this restaurant is that they allow you to bring your own wine with no corkage fee, which is always a plus especially when enjoying with delicious Italian dishes. One last thing I would like to say is that the parking is quite limited. There's a narrow lot that's tricky to navigate, especially if someone parks behind you, so I'd suggest looking for street parking nearby instead. I'd absolutely recommend this place to anyone and I'm already looking forward to bringing more friends and family here next time. Thank you, Colori Kitchen, for a lovely meal and can't wait to come back again.

Owners are very good people. Their food is cooked with herbs from their garden and everything is fresh. It's a nice small quaint restaurant straight from Italia. Went with family to celebrate birthdays and had an amazing culinary experience. I had the fettuccini salmon linguini, barrata, and some cannolis. I loved the fettuccini salmon linguini. I wanted to keep eating it. Had such a subtle hint of curry and the sauce was light and noodles had a nice bite to it. The burrata was so fresh. Cannolis were chefs kiss! Would gladly come back again for more! 10/10 would recommend!

This is officially one of my favorite Italian restaurants in LA. Granted, I haven't explored the Italian food scene as much as I would like but it has to be the best mom-and-pop shop I've visited. I went the basic route and ordered the fettuccine alfredo with an incredibly buttery heavy cream sauce. At the time I ordered, I didn't realize it didn't come with any protein so I ordered chicken on the side afterward and added it on top. I don't know how they did it but the chicken was very soft and tender. I also tried the spaghetti al pesto which wasn't as oily as most pesto pasta so I enjoyed it. I was pretty full by the end since I also snacked on some of the complimentary bread. They have a great selection of daily specials too so make sure to ask if you want an off-menu item. The customer service was great since everyone was inviting and they checked up on us to make sure the table was doing well.

It's a small quiet place, with a really friendly guy. They give you free sourdough, which I asked for another basket and got some. The food takes a LONG time for it to come out... like a VERY VERY long time. But it's nice to just sit and chat, I guess. I've also read it's BYO alcohol, which I need to find out next time before I go. & maybe order ahead if I can, too. - Meatballs 5/5 Very very delicious meatballs with fresh tasting tomato sauce. Eat it with the free sourdough they give!! Perfect with the red pepper flakes (ask for some). - Spaghetti alla vongole 1.7/5 Honestly doesn't really taste like much. This was pretty disappointing, would avoid. - Lasagna 5/5 Really really good hearty lasagna. Unfortunately parking is VERY hard to find.

What a gem!! Amazing authentic Italian food in an eclectic little restaurant close to USC. Great, personal service, reasonable prices, and oh! the delicious food! We were looking for a good dinner treat while we were visiting our son, who is a student at USC. This lovely little spot blew us away! Our son keeps asking when we are going back.

Amazing place in Midcity!! Feels like you're at home. Food was amazing and saved me a trip to going to Italy- for now :) Julio D

Always great food and service. Warning you may want to park on the street parking is a very narrow driveway.

I ordered the carbonara with chicken, the risotto with salmon, and the bruschetta. The flavors on everything were amazing. I cannot complain. My complaint comes from the add in salmon for the risotto. You pay $9 for salmon to be added on but it's the thinnest, smallest piece of salmon. They may even be baby salmon, idk, but they should be ashamed to serve it. I would order again and just skip the salmon. See photo

Wow! The best Italian food at any price! Still family owned and operated and the family takes great pride in their establishment. A tucked away gem, and worth the deep dive on Yelp. This will definitely become your go to pasta place. Do yourself a favor. Eat here!

    The ravioli is always superb.

Not too big of a dining room, but not cramped either. Even though the atmosphere was very busy, it wasn't rushed. Big shoutout to the entire staff especially our server, Emerson, who took amazing care of us! 1000/10 From the moment we entered & throughout our whole experience there, we received amazing, great vibes & hospitality. Everyone was so kind & welcoming. We were greeted & offered drinks as soon as we got seated. He explained the menu very well, was always on top of everything, and kept a positive attitude. Even though it was super busy, we never had to flag anyone down. Our dirty dishes were cleared off the table when done. The food came out not long after we put our order in. We got: Garlic Bread 1000/5 - THE STAR OF THE SHOW. I love sourdough & garlic bread so this was literally the best thing on earth! Came out nice & warm. Crust was crunchy with a soft, moist interior and extraaa garlic in every bite - it was heaven. The cheese on top was a bonus touch. Fusilli alla Vodka 4/5 - Not spicy. Tasted like an extremely creamy mac n cheese. I wouldn't say it's overhyped because it's really good, however there's nothing special about it. (I'm not a big pasta person so maybe that's why) Linguini & Clams 1000/5 - BEST THING EVER. Very well executed - every bite was so creamy & savory. The broth was phenomenal. If you love clams, you'll love this! (I wonder if there's an option to add extra clams?) Chicken Parm 4/5 - The texture, the flavor, & marinara at the bottom was delicious. Cheese was perfectly melted. Tiramisu 1000/5- Every layer was nice & moist. Not bitter, not overly sweet. Just perfect. One of the best tiramisus I've ever had! I had heard great things about Donna's so I was ok with waiting. Our server was really nice, she let us know that this was meant to be family-style and that we should order 4-6 dishes for two people. We started off with the meatballs and garlic bread. The meatballs were great, came with a tomato sauce, no complaints here. The waitress had recommended we get the garlic bread to go with the meatballs since they came by themselves. The garlic bread was garlicky indeed, though I found the ends to be pretty hard. I wouldn't recommend it. We also tried their gnocchi and fusilli a la vodka for their pasta. The fusilli was great, I realized it wasn't your typical spicy vodka sauce since it didn't have that kick. It was a pretty light sauce, fusilli was cooked very well. The truffle gnocchi looked really good when we got it. The server said we should mix it up as per the chef and then the dish lost a bit of that good appeal, but it still tasted good! I'm a big fan of gnocchi and no complaints with Donna's. Overall their pastas were pretty good. I was really looking forward to trying their chicken parm. Everyone seems to rave about it so we had to make sure to get it. I thought the breading and everything around the chicken was great, but the chicken itself was pretty rubbery and chewy. I was pretty disappointed since the pasta had given me high hope for their chicken parm. Maybe it was an off night, but I would say that this was pretty disappointing and not worth the hype. To end the night we tried the panna cotta since the server said it was the staff favorite dessert. Again, pretty good, not mind blowing. My favorites were definitely their pastas, the fusilli specifically. Everything else was pretty much not memorable. Was able to find free street parking around the corner, though they also have a paid lot.

Everything from the food to the pacing to the service was exceptional. It was impressive to see how seamlessly the entire staff worked together. Our server, the bussers, sommelier and kitchen seemed completely in sync. Courses arrived with enough time between them to actually enjoy the evening, our glasses were never empty, and someone always seemed to check in at exactly the right moment (never hovering, never leaving us wondering where everyone went). They actually made a mistake with one of our dishes, but even that became part of a great experience. They immediately acknowledged it and offered to make it right. We ended up loving what accidentally arrived and happily kept it. Mistakes happen; how a restaurant handles them says far more about the quality of its hospitality. We were celebrating two birthdays, and somehow the entire staff seemed clued in. From our first greeting through dessert, there was a warmth to the service that made the night feel genuinely special. We even ended up chatting with our server about other favorite restaurants in the area and bonded over our mutual recommendations. Our only problem with Mother Wolf: everything on the menu sounds incredible, so apparently we have to come back multiple times. Tragic. One word of caution unrelated to the restaurant itself: I'd skip the valet. Our keys were left inside our running car for about 15 min while the attendant had his back turned across the street, which made us pretty uncomfortable. There's a lot about a block away where you can park yourself for roughly the same price. Otherwise, absolutely loved our evening here. Incredible food, exceptional hospitality, and a meal you keep talking about afterward. Can't wait to come back--and hit the speakeasy next time!
