We have had their pizza delivered on several occasions now. It always comes right on time, hot and made exactly as ordered. The staff are very friendly on the phone and when they deliver. I finally decided to walk in one day and check out their sandwiches. I was more than pleased with the Pastrami! Made fresh to order with perfect bread and pastrami. Just ordered Combos from DoorDash as they were offering 25% off. Pizza was decent. Nothing spectacular. Biggest negative is the amount of toppings. Very minimal for a 2 topping pizza. Order a large 2 topping and they put about the same amount of toppings you would see on a small/medium pizza from another place. Would I come back, not sure yet. This is my favorite pizza place now. A fellow yelper also works in my office but for another group. He's always bringing in pizza from Combo's and everybody raves how amazing it is. Then you got my group in the corner having to smell it and suffer while everybody chomps down on the deliciousness and my uninvited group's bellies growl in protest. My fellow uninvited co-worker and I headed on over to Combo's ourselves to have our own pizza party. We ordered a medium pizza and got half pastrami and half al pastor. The medium pizza here is pretty much the size of a large at Pizza Hut. It's a very large medium! Anyways, the pastrami pizza is truly magical. Thick high end pastrami chopped and layered over the entire pizza. It's then topped with pickle slices and drizzled with mustard. Underneath this sodium packed topping layer is cheese and pizza sauce. Seriously... you probably risk having a stroke from the amount of sodium you're about to consume but your last meal with be the perfect one and you'll die with a smile on your face. All these ingredients are a true party in your mouth. Even the crust has more flavor than other pizza places I've been to. The Al Pastor pizza was good too but didn't wow me as much. The pico de gallo served with it packed a serious heat though so be warned. The staff here is extremely friendly and make you feel very welcomed. Great pizza! What great pizza means for me is taste, size, and overall value. Combos constantly runs small promos that help knock off essentially tax. You can order from them on Slice if you prefer to use an app and get on their notification list for such promos. Personally I just call the old fashioned way because I typically pick-up because it's close to my house and to avoid the high delivery fees of 3rd party services. Taste of their pizza is very good where the dough/crust is yummy and doesn't taste like tasteless flour. I've tried most of their pizzas including their Combo, Al Pastor, Carne Asada, Pastrami, All Meat, Chorizo, Pesto, and typical Cheese and Pepperoni. The top pizzas in my book are All Meat, Al Pastor, and Pastrami. I usually need veggies on my pizza to balance out the flavor and add some crunch or texture, but these are my go-to's at this pizzeria! If I had to pick two, I would say All Meat and Al Pastor as it is something you don't typically see whereas Pastrami pizzas aren't as rare anymore (plus some people just don't like pastrami, mustard, and pickles). When I order, I generally pick-up two to have variety and just because you can always eat cold pizza morning, noon, night, and twilight! What always bothers me is that pizza can get super expensive for a large 14" size with "specialty" toppings that places upcharge like crazy. The price differential to bump it to XL is only $2 more for a 16", which is very much worth getting. - Price: $2 increase = +10.5% price difference. - Size: 14" to 16" = +23.4% area difference. Basic math (Pi*radius squared) value proposition of the XL is well worth the extra cost and your family and friends will always be impressed with a large tasty pizza! All in all this is my go-to local pizzeria that I love to get my pizza fix with! If I had to make a recommendation to the establishment, I'd say to perhaps relook at your pesto recipe as it's not tasty as a pesto should be in being very herbaceous from the basil, sharp from the garlic, balanced salt umami from the parmesan, and just enough nuts and oil to create a smooth non-pasty consistency. read more

This local pizza place is located on Commonwealth near Euclid in Fullerton in a tiny non inviting plaza. Don't let the looks fool you. Its between a laundry mat and tattoo parlor. The pizza is pretty good for a local place. Not the best pizza but better than the chain delivery places. I have to agree on another Yelpers disappointment in the cheese quality. It could be better. Served piping hot, in fact I burnt my tongue. The sauce was flavorful and the toppings were generous. The crust was brushed with butter and sprinkled with garlic. The crust could of been better if it was sweeter. I think the real deal here are the speciality pizzas. The regular ones are simple and a just a step or two above average. We went with a family special. Large 2 topping pizza and an order of 8 wings for about $20.99. Yelp check in saves you 10%. Ended up taking 1/2 the pizza home. Service here is friendly. We arrived at 11:20pm and they were still happy to serve us and let us dine in. Other customers came after us and they were equally treated with a friendly attitude and never kicked out at midnight. Ordered a medium Carne Asada Pizza with Cheese bread. People were friendly and pizza looked great. It seems like a natural pairing that pizza places should be doing. The pizza came with tasty salsa that had a kick. The crust was crispy but not dense and had plenty of flavor. There's nothing like a good pie with cardboard for a crust. Overall, a great find but at a premium price if your willing to dish it out. I would order it again on occasion because of the price. I'm not used to $20 medium pizzas. Cheese bread was a throw back to elementary pizza days where the bread was more like a French roll, but this one didn't skimp on cheese and seasoning. Owners need to update their website and social media pages. I LOVE their food. However, their website says they open at 11am on Thursday. I spend 20 minutes trying to get ahold of them, figuring they were busy making pizza. Well, when their employee answered the phone, she rudely told me that they were closed until 4pm and that they would not be able to make my food until 4:30. I informed her that she should tell her boss to update their website or put an outgoing message saying they were closed so people who want to eat their food aren't wasting their time waiting for someone to answer. I asked to speak to the owner and he was also surprisingly rude. I him if he could have the food made earlier (mind you, I just wanted two pepperoni pizzas, so super simple). He said "sure, I can have it ready at 4:20", this doesn't help. I asked him why the website wasn't update and he said "Because of Coronavirus, we had to modify the hours and I haven't had time to update the website or social pages" (mind you, there are services that will update all social media sites at once). Not only that, the Coronavirus lockdowns have been in place for 3 months, with his limited hours, how has he not had time to change "4pm" to "11am"? Very unfortunate. Very sad. ***This review is for pick up*** I didn't eat at the restaurant, nor did I actually pick it up in person (my friend did), but I did call the order in. The lady on the phone seemed nice. The ordering process was straight forward. I called on a week day around 7pm and the worker said it would be ready in about 20-25 minutes. Fairly quick. We ordered a large Hawaiian pizza, which is priced around $14. The pizza was pretty big and more than enough for 2 people. We ended up with a few slices of leftovers. The take out order came with a few paper plates, napkins, parmesan cheese packets, and pepper packets. Pretty standard stuff - nothing noteworthy. Their pizza is pretty good! The pizza was above average, though far from the best I've had. It's not as cheap as Dominos, but I'd like to think that the quality is a little better. The pizza tasted fresh and had a good sauce-to-cheese ratio. I was a little disappointed with the amount of toppings it came with, however. It felt pretty skimpy to me. I would definitely order it again, though I'm not in a huge rush to do so. Located on Commonwealth near downtown Fullerton, I'll have to stop in sometime to check out their physical restaurant and what else they have to offer. What is it about Combo's Carne Asada pizza that tastes amazing??? I've been eating here since I moved to Anaheim and they never disappoint! I love getting delivery when I'm chilling at home or going to their actual location when I'm near by. Their selection of beer is actually pretty good too... who doesn't love a slice with a cold brew? This time around I got delivery and accidently added a twist to their Asada slice. My girl had made Guacamole and as I was putting it away I slipped and all of the guac landed on my slice. I thought, hmmmmm, I wonder what it would taste like... and Voila, took a bite out of it and couldn't resist to take a picture and post it on Yelp.
