I promised a good review to Chris, but been so busy enjoying the cool air in my home that I haven't had the time to write anything. 3 months ago, I called Command A/C to come look at my A/C which was only pushing out warm air. I was able to schedule a day which worked best for me with ease. Chris and Jack arrived 15 minutes early (with a heads-up call that they were on the way) and got to business. Apparently there was a leak in my A/C system and refrigerant was leaking through one of the valves. After about 2 hours, the refrigerant was replenished, leaks sealed and my A/C was running EXTREMELY powerful. It used to take my A/C 15-20 minutes to get the temperature to bearable levels. No exaggeration, it now takes less than 2 minutes. My A/C unit also runs a lot quieter outside, which is good, because it's located next to my neighbors bedroom window. Before Command A/C did their magic, the unit sounded like a loud screeching alarm. So it's been 3 months and the A/C unit still cools in less than 2 minutes. Their service was top notch, and the guys were actually comfortable to have around. No socially awkward contractors in my house! Oh, and they put covers around their shoes when entering the house. From the time I called and Nicole answered with part of her greeting being "how can I make your day better" I felt that she was going to make my day better. We had a leak in our Mitsubishi AC system. I made an appointment and Jack and Rick came out to look at it. They were very professional and made a diagnosis and felt the problem was corrected. However just days after they left the problem re-occured. At their suggestion we had made an appointment to have the unit cleaned. Adolfo came out at the scheduled time to clean our unit and to again see why our unit was leaking. Adolfo worked hard to determine the problem. Once again about a week later the unit was leaking again but this time in a different location. I again called Nicole and Adolfo came back and fixed the leak. I feel that they were determined to get to the bottom of the problem. Thanks to all of them but especially Nicole and Adolfo. Great job all of you! read more

Had an annual maintenance service performed on my Mitsubishi split air units by Adolfo. He was very professional while performing his work. I received a courtesy call 30 mins prior to arrival, he greeted me and introduced himself. He made sure to act within Covid protocols wearing a mask and social distance. Shoe covers were worn whenever he was inside the house. Made sure he was not to loud to disturb my kids while they were in their virtual school sessions. Adolfo did a thorough job at cleaning the blowers and condenser unit without making a mess, drop cloths were used. Along the way he was able to answer maintenance questions and show me where the units usually have dirt build up, I appreciated he was very transparent. Command AC rocks! The guys (Jack and James) were super nice, professional and knowledgeable! I absolutely love my system, I think this ductless AC system is the better option over Central air because I didn't have to replace my furnace and sis big have to do any dry wall repair. Jack and James kept their work areas super clean and protected my hard wood floors with covers and they wore shoe covers. Jamie was excellent too! The team was great with a complicated replacement job. We Wanted the upstairs to be a vented system with separate individual units downstairs. They also had to create a new attic access to make sure the airflow was correct. The team was very professional, showed up on time each day, and cleaned up each evening. I've waited to post this to see how the units worked and am extremely pleased, 5 months into use. I am very pleased with the work that was just completed at my house. I spent some time researching the mini split systems and finally decided to go with Mitsubishi. After a few in house estimates I came across Command AC which I feel are the only company to hire because they are the experts in the field. Each team member was knowledge and friendly. We went over the proposed installation in considerable detail - he took the time to make sure there were no surprises.....and, ultimately, there were none. The installation team, Jack and Jon, came when promised, kept the house and work area clean and safe and diligently moved toward completion of the job. It took one day. Chris went through my house with me as I was having some heating problems, my heater is in my attic and he found some areas that needed to have some new duck tape as the air was going into the attic. Also we changed the vent covers to give more coverage. This has helped a lot. Chris was on time and very reliable and would recommend Command Comfort for repairs or new air and heating. read more

I just saw your response and I want to set one thing straight. I did not curse at anyone especially Rick. I was extremely cordial to him the entire time and never raised my voice. I raised my voice at Nicole for denying what she said and she was giving me an attitude on the phone and insinuating I was a liar. If the word ridiculous is a curse word then I apologize, but I did not curse at her. I don't deal with people I disagree with through cursing and if that's what you do then all the power to you. Your response to mine makes it seem like I'm an angry rude dissatisfied customer which I understand since you have a business name to uphold but you couldn't be more wrong. Nicole was the one who called and told Rick to leave. He slowly packed up and left and apologized and I did too because it wasn't his fault. He told me it was his birthday when he got there and we were chatting the entire time having a laugh. It's so sad if he told you I cursed at him and kicked him out. I have a really weird condo set-up (I'm sanwiched in between two other condos with a loft style bedroom and only one window upstairs, ugh) and I have been in dire need of AC since last summer's unbearable heat wave. I called Command Comfort and their rep, Jamie, came out and assured me that Command Comfort could tackle my place and get me cool for the summer. Seriously, I cannot say enough good things about Command Comfort! I had met with Jamie in February(!) but my HOA took a solid three months to approve everything. Frustrating! While my HOA was giving me grief, Jamie handled every single question in stride and actually kept me calm when I was at my wits end with my HOA and their 200 questions. Fast forward to 6/9/17 and I was set for a mini split AC installation. Two of the nicest guys (Christian and Jonathan) came in and got to work. Called Command Air to schedule yearly maintenance on 1 year old furnace. Would not give me a quote just wanted to sell me their "maintenance contract". When asked an approx. cost would not give me an answer. Stated we would have to send a man over to give me quote. WHAT! This company might be fine for repairs (although I would not deal with a company with the old one foot in the door business model) but for maintenance forget it. I was not going to have a service man come to my house just to waste my time and his. If they did the maintenance and I liked the service then I might consider a contract in the future but to prepay for maintenance with a company I did not have experience with is as ridiculous as going into having the oil changed on your car and paying for the NEXT service 6 months in advance. read more

Here's the quick version: Command A/C installed some mini-split ductless A/C system in my home and I was extremely happy with the service and product I received. They were very knowledgeable, very courteous, got it done on schedule, and did a great job with the installation. I would highly recommend this company if you are looking into getting an A/C system! If you're so inclined to read more, here's the long version: My wife and I are recent transplants to California, and we don't have any family out here or anybody that could refer us to a company that installs A/C systems.....so, we headed to the internet in search of a company. We had recently purchased a house in Garden Grove that only had those old style wall heaters (with only one of four working) and no cooling units. Because of the way that our second floor addition was done on our home in the 1980's, it was impossible to install a traditional central A/C system with ducts and all, so we had to look into the mini-split ductless systems (and I had no experience with these at all). So, based on our searching of Angie's List and Yelp, we had a bunch of companies come out and give us estimates and design proposals for installing one of these mini-split systems. When Chris from Command A/C came out, he actually brought one of the units with him so I could see one first-hand (something that none of the other companies did). He was very friendly, knowledgeable, and took our concerns and suggestions into consideration with the design plan and estimate. After getting all of the quotes from all of the companies, we found that Command A/C was very competitively priced, but the reason we chose them was because they seemed the most competent and genuine of all of the people/companies that came out. Everything was put in writing in a contract ahead of time and we scheduled an installation date. Unlike most contractors I've dealt with in the past, they showed up right on time and finished exactly as scheduled. Their office staff was very responsive and gave me a reminder call a few days ahead of time. In fact, any time I spoke with their office staff (Jeanna mostly), they were very friendly and easy to get in touch with, as they would respond quickly if I left a voice message or email. After having used the system and dealt with Command A/C, we are definitely glad we ended up choosing Command A/C. I'm an engineer and am very particular (some think slightly obsessed) with the quality of products as well as the quality of installations, and they did not disappoint! I closely inspected everything (even taking levels to the wall-mounted units inside the house) and you could tell that they take pride in their installation. I was informed that all of their employees receive extensive training, and it shows. The unit passed city code and official permits were received. Also, there were no hidden fees/charges, and I was billed exactly what was quoted in the original contract. The system works great and cools our house extremely quickly and very efficiently, so it seems that the Mitsubishi line they exclusively use are great. This is a very professional company, and I know that if anything were to need to be fixed/adjusted with the system, they would not hesitate to come back out and make it right. I wish I could give this company a 10 stars! As other first time homeowners we have been burnt by contractor in the past so when it came to installing a new hvac system, I did some thorough research. We got some 5 quotes for different options - put the hvac unit on the roof, sacrifice large part of the backyard for placement of unit as well as several different ductless installation options. It was not until we met with Chris that we really felt comfortable and certain in our descision of installing ductless units. He even went the extra mile and brought over an display unit to our house and held it up in different places until I could make up my mind where to finally install it. I have had Command A/C out to work at my house a few times now and each time it went great. Why I waited so long to write a review is beyond me. The first time my air conditioner was working fine but I wanted to upgrade the thermostat. Someone was sent out right away to look at what I had (no charge btw as it was considered an estimate) and showed me multiple options for thermostats on an iPad. Pretty cool! We ended up choosing one that I can control from my iPhone and its awesome. The second time I had them out was for just a simple tune up for the heater. The last guy that was out mentioned proper maintenance and so I called them when it was time to start using the furnace. The tech was very polite, knowledgable and showed up on time, even calling when he was close by (love the heads up). He finished the tune up in about 45 minutes, reviewed his detailed notes with me and that was it. I'll be having them back out when its time to turn on the ac. Thanks Command! read more
