After dealing with the summer heat last year, I made an effort to finally get it done. I called Command a/c and spoke with Dominic. Lets just say, from this conversation I was sold already. Dominic was very easy going and professional and even dealt with my cell phone signal going in and out (it was like a bad commercial, can you hear me now like 6 times). Anyways, Dominic showed real class. After the cell phone issue, Dominic informed me of the arrival window and my tech's name is jack. So arrival day, my tech Jack arrived in the window time and was very professional. He was quick in finding out the problems my ancient a/c unit was having (compressor/low on refrigeration). He informed me of what I could and what I should repair and recommended maybe upgrading my unit to save money in the future but not putting too much into my older unit. The best part is he made suggestions. He never pressured me in to buying. I would recommend this company to anyone who needs their a/c serviced. I called them late Friday afternoon around 6pm and they had an appointment set up the following day. They will notify you with a 15-20 min arrival time depending on traffic and work fast and effective. I am extremely happy and satisfied with the team at Command Comfort. Jaime came to my house and consulted on options that best suited my home. In mid-May, as promised, Paul and Jon came to my house and did a complicated install of a four-room system in the allotted three days. They crawled under the house to run hardware, made a fast scaffold to work above sheds abutting the home, flush-mounted a unit in my near nonexistent attic space, and navigated twists and turns from my garage to the house. Those two, and Jaime, were a great team that kept me informed about their plans and answered questions along the way. They showed up, put in the work, and left the job site clean -- small stuff, but it tells me a great deal about their ethic. Command Comfort saves the day - twice! I can speak from experience the level of service is second to none. Chris, Jack, Paul, and Jon went over the top to make sure not only our system was in proper order but took the time to make sure they exceeded any expectations I could have had. Their attention to detail was amazing, and the way they were able to diagnose my Family's needs + work on my budget was greatly appreciated. As a Husband and Father, I always have reservations about letting people into my home, especially while I am at work. It was very comforting to know this team and company is built around Family and love. The way their team presented themselves was not only professional, but they instantly built credibility by simplifying the work needed, and thoroughly (yet simply) explained the job. Shoot, Chris even talked me out of the reason I called him the first place! My vision was to upgrade and potentially remove my two older, large units both upstairs and downstairs and replace them with all ductless. Jack and Chris were able to get my current system running more efficiently and talked me out of spending unnecessarily. I was more then willing to splurge and buy multiple units, but to accomplish what I really needed they advised me to just go with one unit in my master bedroom. This built instant trust, and all of my concerns were alleviated as I felt I could absolutely trust them with being in my home and around my Family. Fast forward - month 3; everything is working in amazing order!! By going with Chris and his team I not only saved thousands of dollars on unnecessary equipment, but because of their suggestions my house has never been more comfortable and my monthly electric bill went from an average of $350 to an average of $135! At this rate everything pays for itself in 2.5 years! It was a no-brainer to take advantage of the Extended Comfort Club. - We went premier because of the cost savings, plus having that type of peace of mind just makes complete sense. Command Comfort has installed a total of 14 ductless systems in the Education Building of our church. This was a large project and several of the company's staff, including Jack, Paul, Jon, Luis, David and Peter were involved. Besides the installation of the new equipment, they spent several days demolishing the old equipment and taking it off the premises. During the entire process, they did their work professionally and courteously. One of our church members, after a talk with Paul, went out of her way to tell me that he had been very pleasant to speak with and she was impressed with how hard they all worked. I have to admit, I was losing any faith that I would never find a decent contractor to install a new HVAC system in my house. Command A/C came to us as a referral from a friend. The decision to call them was probably one of the best decisions I've ever made. From the very first meeting, through installation and into follow up, everyone at Command Air did exactly what they said they were going to do and did it well. If something became a delay, they simply picked up the phone and communicated it to us. That practice seems to have been lost in the contracting world. Everyone there is super friendly, courteous and professional. Let's talk about going above and beyond for a second too. During the installation process an opposum wandered into our garage. Not having any knowledge how to deal with this hissing and spitting animal we were trying to coax it to leave. Brandon, our installer, took customer service to the next level. He put on a pair a leather gloves and moved our little intruder outside. We were floored. I found Command A/C through a post card advertising their expertise in Mitsubishi ductless split systems. After deciding that we really didn't want to go through one more summer without a way to cool the home office and bedroom in our 50's era home I decided to call. A few years earlier I had been researching ductless split systems, but had difficulty finding knowledgeable installers that were interested only in installing a forced air system. I was interested in ductless because I didn't want the major disruption, displacement and major inconvenience of an invasive forced air installation in our home. My research also helped me realize that Mitsubishi was a leading manufacturer of ductless split systems and that a good installer would be the way to go. When I called Command A/C to inquire I was treated right from the get-go. They provided very rough ballpark pricing over the phone just to be sure that I knew what I was getting in to. The mini-splits are a permanent installation and not a temporary and inexpensive installation (such as a window air conditioner). The extra front end cost will obviously be recovered in the long run because of the efficiency of the equipment and because they don't have to run to cool the entire house. Chris came over to help me determine what would work in our home and helped spec and price our system. This was definitely a consultation and not a high pressure sale. He provided clear pricing and option information. We can run only the zones that we need and the system is VERY quiet both indoors and out. (I especially like the whisper mode!) Command A/C's install team was very professional, listened to our needs and collaborated with us on determining best vent and equipment placement. The team was also very respectful, great about calling before they arrived to work and enthusiastic. They did make one mistake on the final day of installation by mixing up cabling and connections on the zones. We discovered the problem a day after completion. Command A/C came back in short order, verified that they made a mistake and immediately set about setting things right. I'm very happy with Command A/C's service and would not hesitate to work with them again. I'm also really happy with our Mitsubishi ductless system. It's been working great throughout the summer and improved our ability to sleep well through our So Cal heat waves. It's also able to provide heat which is a great bonus. I just got to use it the first time to warm up the den in the morning as we move in to Fall and it did a great job of taking the bite out. read more

This review is long over due. My girlfriend and I had each thought the other already posted a review and realized recently we hadn't after all. So here it goes.. My girlfriend bought a condo and we began moving in beginning of July this past summer (hottest summer ever!!) our realtors got an appraiser to come out who told us that our central ac while a little outdated was functioning well (NOT the case) after escrow closed and we finished up our projects we finally started moving all our stuff in, only to realize our ac wasn't really working or at least didn't appear to be working effectively (we were melting). A few arguments about whether the thermostat was being set properly led to several arguments with our home warranty reps who finally agreed to pay for partial cost to replace our system (guess it's better than nothing). We agreed to use the ac provider our warranty contracted with and ended up waiting literally (not exaggerating) a month and half in the scorching deathly so cal heat of summer with two young children in the house for someone to finally tell us that we were sol and would have to wait longer for the company to track down a forklift to get the thing set up. Okay okay well how much longer we desperately asked. . Couldn't get an answer the rep from the company literally told us that he didn't know when it would happen and that if he were us he wouldn't even use his own company (good grief is this guy a joke?!). So we decide enough is enough and finally request a check and proceed to look for a real ac company to help us out. That's when we found command ac! We had I believe 6 different ac guys come out check out the system and give us the diagnosis etc and command rep was BY FAR THE BEST, most knowledgable, polite, and concerned rep we met. The price was fair and they worked with us to get the ac installed ASAP after we explained all the trouble we had been having. The team at Command AC is top notch. We were given a no hassle, no pressure quote on a compressor and furnace. Chris was pleasant, extremely knowledgeable and took his time to explain the different options available but at no time was "pushy" like some other companies. No sales tactics were involved I.e. This price is only good if you agree now..., etc. He also did a walk through and pointed out problems with the current unit (the compressor was 21 years old) and examined the furnace. When I say examined, I mean, he opened it up, whereas the other company just looked at the exterior of the furnace and advised it was "newer." Did I mention this was done at no cost? The other company wanted to charge us $75.00 for an estimate. The installation team arrived a few days later. They were kind, courteous and professional. Command A/C installed ductless A/C in my home. From the first phone call to the follow-up phone call to ensure the installation went as expected, this was a superior experience. Chris, the owner, assessed my home for installing central air. He was my 3rd estimate. Realizing that my home was not situated to install central air unless I had the unit on the roof or on the side in the main thoroughfare, he offered me an alternative: ductless A/C. He showed me actual photos of the unit installed so I could get a true perspective as to size. He was patient as I asked question after question. He measured how long the electrical would have to be, the drain, etc. (I don't recall all the details, but it was very thorough). The price for the install was very reasonable (no new installation of A/C is going to be cheap - I know this). Ductless A/C is the perfect solution for my needs and worked well with my home's logistics. Installation was professional, clean, and every detail was addressed. I had no cleanup, knew how to operate the unit, etc. Brandon and Taza (hope I got those names correct) were clean, professional and quiet. They put up with my 2 smalls dogs during the install. They answered my questions and gave me a demonstration. They worked long into the evening to finish the install - it was a full day's work for them. I can't say enough about how superior the estimate, install, and follow-up have been. Not to mention the unit is working so smoothly - quietly - efficiently! This is a follow up on Command A/C. 6 months have passed since the installation of our Mitsubishi Splits. It has been 6 flawless months of wonderful A/C and Heat but it was time to check them. Enter the next two gentlemen, Jack and Christian. Once again donning covers over their shoes before entering the house, they entered and explained what they would do and went about their work. It took about 1/2 hour and they were so quiet and clean we almost forgot they were there. Again, Jack and Christian are two more of Commands family of employees who you feel as though they are part of your family. You are so relaxed as they go about their jobs. When they were finished we again went over what they did and they are on their way.
