Quaint little spot. Interesting menu. LOUSY SERVICE!!!! It took 40 minutes for 2 omelettes. When they arrived the one that had been checked and double checked that it could be prepared without dairy and cheese was mounded with cheese. The waitress apologized and promptly took it back. When it arrived this time it was missing the avocado that I was paying extra for. As I am eating my very delayed meal, I discover that the hash browns had been 'brushed off' and there was cheese melted into the shredded potatoes making them uneatable for someone with dairy allergies. If I only used one word to describe this family owned Cafe, it would be FRESH. We stopped here for brunch on Memorial Day and were delightfully pleased at how deliciously fresh the food was. If you're lucky and they are serving their Jalapeno Popper Quiche, order it. It had just the right amount of pepper heat with an added twist on the crust: layered scalloped potatoes instead of a flour crust that quiche is known for. Fresh greens and fruit on the side add a tasty and healthy balance to the protein and carbs. The Chicken Jalapeno Wrap and Todd's Veggie sandwich are also very fresh and tasty. The gravy was canned, the toast was dry and cold, overcooked eggs, and the sausage was thin and rubbery. Save your money and stay home and have your teenager make you breakfast. I have been thinking long and hard about this review. My husband and I have been wanting to try it. We made plans with friends and got here around noon. The place had several tables taken and we were able to do "family" style and get 5 seats together. We waited about 10 minutes to get greeted. Another 10 to get menus. We picked out our meals and had to wait another 10 minutes to place our order. Two of us got water and 3 speciality coffees. Now, it gets interesting to say the least. The food took over 45 minutes to come out. Apparently there is only 1 cook so it's understandable that it would take longer to get food. What isn't is the attitude of all people who work there. The waitress decided to stand behind the counter and count her tips, didn't wash her hands after handling cash, gross. Hugs her friends and chats with people and completely ignores our group. We were never asked if we needed anything while waiting for our food. Water ran out. I got up to get a new napkin and was given one nasty look. Really? You are too "busy" and you are not helping. We got our food and it was good. Then a crash. Broken glass. Clean up and off she goes to continue. She was asked to refill our glasses, but she found it more important to clean up an empty table with no one waiting. When asked where our water was, we got the attitude. Arms crossed, glare and the words, "I guess you wanting water is more important than what I am doing." Waitress goes to the back, returns with water pitcher and blood on her hands. I refused the water and next thing we know, the cook comes out and makes all kinds of excuses for her behavior instead of saying she is sorry and they usually have 6 people but only 3 showed up. A common excuse noted from other reviews is that they are short staffed. I guess that is their fallback line. In summary, good food, lousy service and very loud. read more

I came here for a bottomless mimosa birthday weekend experience and it did not disappoint! Victoria and Alyssa were very knowledgeable of the menu and the suggested the special, which was a quiche (roasted jalapeño, Bacon, cream cheese) which was DELICIOUS. It came with a bottom salad and mixed berries. They were the kindest servers and made sure we weren't forgotten. Very trendy, 10 steel brushed tables, sunny frontage windows, many designer coffees, and trivia pursuit cards to strain your brain while you sit and relax listening to 70's tunes. No apologies , no acknowledgment, nothing. It seems like if you're local they will give you faster service. If that's not bad enough, there's no ventilation, the room is so smoky. My eyes are burning and our clothes smell after we got done. And what's with waitress/babysitters?? If the waitress didn't have to babysit and chase after the 2 kids that were playing outside then she would probably will do a better job tending to the customers. In fact, even the cook went running outside after the kids at some point! Quite a shit show.
