The conchas had excellent texture and taste, with a balanced sweetness that wasn't overpowering. The same could be said for the mazapan latte, which was bold yet well balanced. The breakfast sandwich was hot and well put together, and the warmed vanilla concha added a complex sweet and savory element that made the whole combination especially enjoyable. Would recommend checking this place out in the morning.

They share space with the Dirty Bird Lounge. I'm happy they put out more signage or you'd miss it. This is the 2nd time we came. We got here early because the 1st time, they sold out on a lot of conchas. They're homemade - baked at home and brought in. So when they're out, they're out, I guess. Today we tried the ice cream sandwich concha and the Dubai concha. Both were very good. The conchas were fresh and soft. Service is slow. I don't know why. We were the only ones there. Another person came to help, but there was still a wait for orders. Please be patient. So many different small businesses have opened in this space. I hope Concha Dreams makes it.

Concha Dreams is at the front of Dirty Bird Lounge where Tailfeather Kitchen is at in the afternoon. In its 2nd month, they have a steady flow of patrons. small seating area is unchanged thru the years. Same decor. Same seats. Same counter for eats & drinks. Street parking nearby. Ordered at counter after entering. Latte & Concha ready in minutes. Small menu of traditional conchas & filled ones. Drinks are traditional coffee & some Mex. Varietals. Sips: Mexican mocha latte (6.50) hot -pretty sweet with Abuelita chocolate. Stayed with regular milk. Addictive. Either lst time or haven't had it for awhile. 4.5 stars Bites: Vanilla Concha (4.50) -biggest ever seen. Very fresh. Crunchy top texture. Slightly sweet. melt in mouth quality. Maybe a breakfast or ham & cheese one next time. 5 stars. 4.5 stars: Worthy! Quantity: reasonable Quantity: Excellent!

This concha spot is a dream! So cute, small, and locally owned I love supporting places like this. I had to try the churro concha and wow... so good! Soft, sweet, and full of flavor. The coffee was amazing too great taste and the perfect pairing. The staff is super friendly and welcoming, which makes the whole experience even better. Definitely a little gem!

Order: Oat milk Mexican mocha made with Abuelita chocolate. Visit: Tuesday 01/20/26 Overall, the drink was good. I would definitely go back to try some of the other drinks and the conchas. The conchas looked very lovely, but I wasn't in the mood for one at the time. I wasn't sure if there were different cup sizes available, as I wasn't asked which size I wanted and didn't see size options posted. The service was great. The two women who assisted me were extremely welcoming and friendly. As a small suggestion, it would be nice if the establishment opened right at 8:00 AM as stated in the business hours, so customers don't have to wait while employees finish setting up. I personally didn't mind since my order was made quickly, but I know some people may be in a rush to get to work, school etc. The ambiance is cute. The café is located inside Dirty Bird and is gated off. They offer tables for seating, and there was plenty of parking available at 8:00 AM on a Tuesday. Overall, I enjoyed this place and will definitely be going back to try other items on the menu.

I got to try the coffee shop that's inside the Dirty Bird in Hayward. I have to say so glad that I did because their cafe de Olla latte was soooooo good! Their conchas look really great. They aren't vegan or gluten free. They're only open Tuesday through Saturday so just keep an eye out for that. Plenty of parking on B Street or behind the building. For their breakfast conchas you are able to substitute the concha for their in house made croissant which was cool. Looking forward to trying their other coffees.

Concha Dreams is such a gem here in Hayward! They have some of the freshest, most delicious handmade conchas. Whether you're looking to place a large order for a family gathering or just want to stop by for your morning coffee and concha, this is the place to go. Their breakfast selection is also really good, and I absolutely love their coffee. Don't forget to add one of their many different cold foams options it makes the coffee just that much better!! One of the things I appreciate most is the people behind the business. I had the chance to meet the owners in my most recent visit, and they are genuinely some of the kindest people. I'm so happy to have Concha Dreams in Hayward. If you haven't been yet, do yourself a favor and check them out. you'll be supporting an amazing local family business while enjoying incredible food and coffee.

The BEST Conchas I've had! You can tell they are baked fresh daily by how soft they are and the flavor is always spot on! Concha dreams conchas are never dry or too crumbly like other spots. We got the Oreo, Strawberry & Chocolate conchas. All were fire, but our favorite was the Oreo one. We got an iced horchata latte with oat milk (love that they have a milk alternative) The latte was perfect and not too sweet or sugary like other spots. I HIGHLY recommend this spot if you're in Hayward! Definitely coming back to try more items. The service was 10/10

Churro Concha, Tres Leches Matcha (hot)

The churro concha I ate was so yummy, I want to come back and try a different flavor next time - there is a unique variety available, I highly recommend coming by because they had ube and matcha when I came, I've never seen those before. I liked the Tres Leches Matcha, the matcha flavor was tasty but the tres leches wasn't as strong as I personally prefer but still delicious nonetheless. The only employees were awesome and very kind. They had lovely attitudes and were extremely patient with every customer. I wish there was more seating, I saw some people having to stand at the bar while waiting for chairs to free up. I also wish there were napkin dispensers more readily accessible but I think how they've arranged the space is really cute.

Yum! First time trying this sweet and savory breakfast sandwich. It was delicious! Would recommend! Tried both vanilla and strawberry flavor and both were delicious. It looks like they make the bread, so another plus!!

Concha Dreams in Hayward makes some really good conchas. The flavors are fresh and the texture is soft with a nice crunch on top. If you go, definitely try their breakfast concha. It is a fun mix of their sweet concha with a savory filling in the middle, and it works surprisingly well. It is one of those things you try once and immediately want again. This spot is a great addition to the area.

Amazing flavors and fresh concha's! If you haven't tried the matcha concha you're definitely missing out out on a delicious concha !!! The owner is always so kind!

    Mex Mocha Latte
    Kiana K.

Located inside the Dirty Bird Lounge on B Street, music playing definitely brings a vibe! The service is friendly and fast! The cold Mex Mocha latte is 10/10. Absolutely delicious! The chocolate is rich and smooth, the espresso is robust, and everything blends together perfectly. It tastes indulgent without being overwhelming--definitely a go-to mocha latte! I also ordered a mini concha for my daughter and she tore it up! I will definitely make this a regular stop for coffee and snacks!

We really enjoyed all the food (chilaquiles rojos and the verdes with meat, and three quesabirrias). We couldn't finish it all! You can tell it's all homemade, which is nice. A lot of places don't make their chilaquiles sauce from scratch. We'd definitely return. The only thing I'd pass on is the Vietnamese coffee. Maybe it was our fault for ordering this at a Mexican spot, but it tasted more like cold brew than Vietnamese coffee.

They have seating in the back area but it still a bit snug and the tarps covering the area tend to make it warmer. I recommend sharing an entree, the servings here are very generous! I tried a Vietnamese coffee but it wasn't great. It was too sweet and tasted more like cafe de olla iced coffee. Prices seem fair, especially with the large portion sizes. I recommend you give a try!

Ube Pancake (side order)- one thick ube pancake that turned out dry when eaten with syrup. Never order anything that is not Thai on the menu. They should add Thai Tea pancakes to their menu with housemade Thai Tea syrup to make it more fusion. Pad Kee Mao w/ Chicken- I regret ordering this because the string beans were half raw, the tofu was dry, and the dish was a bit spicy. The wait to order wasn't too long, maybe 15 minutes? While you wait, you pass by a display of cookies and they even have samples out for everyone to try. The staff was very nice, even though they were super busy! We tried: - Free chips & salsa: These are a must everytime I visit denica's. They are a great snack while you wait for your meal. 9/10 - The ube pancakes: These were pretty solid. I didn't think that the pancakes themselves had a very strong ube flavor, if any. I think all of the flavor was in the ube coconut sauce that they come with. However, there is only sauce on the first layer so you might want to get extra! It is an additional $2.75 or so to get the extra side of ube sauce, though. The pancakes themselves could have been a little more moist and fluffy, as they were a bit dry and dense. I loved the fruit and sauce, so that definitely made up for it! I'm glad that I got to try, but I don't think I'd get them again. Instead, I would get a regular pancake and a side of the ube coconut cream! 8/10 - The chorizo burrito: My bf said that this was also a pretty good option. He thought that it could have been a bit more flavorful, but was still satisfied with his meal! 7.5/10 - The side of hash browns: These were good, as to be expected! The portion was a bit small in comparison to other diners in the area. 7.5/10 Overall, I always enjoy my experiences at denica's! We sat in the back portion of the restaurant, which seems to possibly be a new addition for them? I'm not sure. Food: Ordered the beignets, a corned beef hash breakfast meal (husband's dish), and a 3 egg pancake combo for myself. Yum! The beignets are more doughy than I expected, but tasted fresh. This is not your princess and the frog beignet, more of a doughnut puff type? I don't know how to describe it exactly, haha. The staff was accommodating in putting their vanilla and chocolate sauces on the side for dipping which I appreciated. Pancake was good, eggs cooked well (I love a place that knows how to cook a soft scramble), while their home fries are not what I expected (I think I typically prefer a more crispy potato), this showed me that I can possibly save myself time in the future when making at home. While not crispy, the home fries were delightful, entirely cooked through with a thin crisp edge. Staff: very kind! You know it is a family run business. The only thing I found mildly off putting was that one of the young servers wore his pajama bottoms. It did not feel like something a server should wear.
