The food was a fulfilling treat. We ordered the breakfast concha for our first visit at Concha Dreams. It was a vanilla flavored concha sliced in half with eggs, ham and cheese. For drinks, we ordered a hot chocolate and matcha tea both hot. I was full from this meal alone. It was a great first experience, I am a fan of the decor and wall paintings. The atmosphere was my type of vibe. I could sit and eat and read very comfortably here. Only issue was parking can be troublesome. We arrived at a time where the city was cleaning and gardening. I was in the area and found this spot through their a-frames outside. They share a space with dirty bird. I thought the interior was cute with the natural lighting. I did stop by late afternoon so they had very few conchas left. I ordered a horchata latte, breakfast sandwich on a sourdough bagel, and a strawberry concha. Horchata latte was okay. It... didn't taste like much but it did get me caffeinated. Would probably try their cookie butter special next time. The sandwich was sooo fulfilling that I didn't have any space for the concha but I did give it to my siblings and they enjoyed it. Will be stopping by again if I'm in the area. read more

Came here with bf early Saturday morning. We got the concha breakfast sandwich, the churro concha, the tres leches latte and the mazapan latte. The bf got the breakfast sandwich which he said he would go back just for the sandwich. I tried it as well and it was good. The eggs were most and fluffy and I liked the sweet and savory combo. The churro concha was very disappointing. It essentially was just a basic choncha with some cinnamon on the top. The concha itself for me was really dense, like it needed to prove more before baking. I liked my tres latte for the first few sips then it had no flavor after that. So I am thinking all the flavor was just at the top. The bf liked his mazapan latte and I think they must have melt the marzipan candy in the latte. Overall it was okay, but I felt they took forever to make the drinks and the sandwich. There was just one person it front of us and he did not have a big order. You could contest that they had to make the sandwich but it was just using the microwave, I didn't see or hear any frying pans. Street parking, but we parked in the shopping plaza parking lot and walked up. The space is nice, I liked the art work they had. Pricing I think is a bit high for what you get. They share space with the Dirty Bird Lounge. I'm happy they put out more signage or you'd miss it. This is the 2nd time we came. We got here early because the 1st time, they sold out on a lot of conchas. They're homemade - baked at home and brought in. So when they're out, they're out, I guess. Today we tried the ice cream sandwich concha and the Dubai concha. Both were very good. The conchas were fresh and soft. Service is slow. I don't know why. We were the only ones there. Another person came to help, but there was still a wait for orders. Please be patient. So many different small businesses have opened in this space. I hope Concha Dreams makes it. read more

The conchas looked very lovely, but I wasn't in the mood for one at the time. I wasn't sure if there were different cup sizes available, as I wasn't asked which size I wanted and didn't see size options posted. The service was great. The two women who assisted me were extremely welcoming and friendly. As a small suggestion, it would be nice if the establishment opened right at 8:00 AM as stated in the business hours, so customers don't have to wait while employees finish setting up. I personally didn't mind since my order was made quickly, but I know some people may be in a rush to get to work, school etc. The ambiance is cute. The café is located inside Dirty Bird and is gated off. They offer tables for seating, and there was plenty of parking available at 8:00 AM on a Tuesday. I got to try the coffee shop that's inside the Dirty Bird in Hayward. I have to say so glad that I did because their cafe de Olla latte was soooooo good! Their conchas look really great. They aren't vegan or gluten free. They're only open Tuesday through Saturday so just keep an eye out for that. Plenty of parking on B Street or behind the building. For their breakfast conchas you are able to substitute the concha for their in house made croissant which was cool. Looking forward to trying their other coffees. read more

They're brand new so I understand there will be some things to smooth out. This review is only for their conchas. Sadly the concha was over baked. The crackling on top was also the wrong consistency and didn't have the signature crumble. It was so over baked, the crumble was basically solid and snapped off like hardened royal icing. They also struggled to keep up with orders from what I could see so getting our order in took time. Maybe with time some of these issues can be smoothed out. Definitely a good location close to the farmers market so they could get a decent amount of foot traffic. read more

This is a 3.5 rounded up to a 4 because it seems like it's a family owned business and I want them to do well with some constructive feedback. It also seemed like they just opened so I hope they can get their wrinkles ironed out. With that said I came here after lunch on a Saturday and just wanted a single Concha, but ended up waiting ten minutes to be helped. Maybe it wasn't for me but the sugar on top of the concha itself was a lot thicker than the ones I had elsewhere. It didn't remind me of the crumbly and crackling icing that concha's are known for. In terms of service they can do a better job divvying up their orders. It felt like all three people were working on a single order at a single time--causing a bottleneck in their workflow. If they can sort this out I think they would be solid. Overall looking forward to trying this place again once they get the ball rolling and recommend giving them a shot if you're in town for the farmers market. Its literally down the street! read more

The BEST Conchas I've had! You can tell they are baked fresh daily by how soft they are and the flavor is always spot on! Concha dreams conchas are never dry or too crumbly like other spots. We got the Oreo, Strawberry & Chocolate conchas. All were fire, but our favorite was the Oreo one. We got an iced horchata latte with oat milk (love that they have a milk alternative) The latte was perfect and not too sweet or sugary like other spots. The churro concha I ate was so yummy, I want to come back and try a different flavor next time - there is a unique variety available, I highly recommend coming by because they had ube and matcha when I came, I've never seen those before. I liked the Tres Leches Matcha, the matcha flavor was tasty but the tres leches wasn't as strong as I personally prefer but still delicious nonetheless. The only employees were awesome and very kind. They had lovely attitudes and were extremely patient with every customer. I wish there was more seating, I saw some people having to stand at the bar while waiting for chairs to free up. I also wish there were napkin dispensers more readily accessible but I think how they've arranged the space is really cute. read more

I been there a few times. I've only had the Conchas. They are so good. I mean the entire concha has flavor. It's a labor of love that goes into it. My favorite Concha flavors are the Abuelita and Oreo. I've tried most of them and they are legit good AF. Today, I had the breakfast concha for the first time. I slept on this super hard. It was so damn good. I good size hearty egg with some ham and cheese and a soft sweet concha on each side of it. *Chef's Kiss I haven't tried the coffee and other drinks yet. I've had 2 drinks from this lovely Latina owned business and let me tell you... both drinks are a 10/10 for me. Just the right amount of sweetness. The flavors in the drinks actually pull through not like other drinks that claim to have the "horchata" or "chocolate abuelita" flavors. It may be on the pricey side but the quality is there and worth every penny and tip.. I definitely recommend trying the matcha series. It has perfect balance of sweetness and matcha flavoring.
