First time in. Honestly, I was surprised they were open on Labor Day. Good for us though, lol! Clean and spacious location with friendly bar staff and customers alike. If you drink beer, they more than have you covered. I actually don't but love cider and wine and happy to say, they had both options available. My friend and I sat outside and were able to have some good conversation and smell up what the chef on the grill was dishing out. There was a little snafu with our food order but all on staff was ready to make it right. Pleased overall with the experience and would totally go back. I'm excited to see this place mature as it's open longer. The beer menu was a tad small, but had enough for you to try a few different types. The food menu was pretty good as a tap house. The inside does look like it's battling between being modern and a Olive Garden with all the painted vines, which doesn't match the deck or bar theme. I'll definitely stop in again to see how this place progresses, this is definitely a good jump in brining more places to the local area. read more

My daughter just graduated from college and we wanted to have an outdoor place to celebrate. We wanted to get together with friends and family we haven't seen in over a year due to COVID. It was PERFECT. Tony was so accommodating and answered my emails (which we had many) quickly answering all my questions. Jade was amazing. Helped us pick out some great appetizers. You CAN'T go wrong with the beer. All of the beer was amazing and so many to choose from that everyone was able to get what they wanted.Cider and wine was also available. Beer selection great. Service needs improvement. We sat at a table with table service, the owner acknowledged us pretty quick but then nobody came around for 20-25 minutes even though there was 4-5 servers working. Bartenders were eating behind the bar while we waited. It seemed like half of the servers were drunk themselves. At the end of the adventure, getting the tab took a while and they didn't split it up as thoughtfully or accurately as they professed they would at the beginning. read more

We've been in the last 2 nights In a row and had a great experience both days. The first day we went with our normal whatever hazy IPA is on tap. Both we had were delicious. The kicker to the evening was last night and fieldwork's cherry parfait! It was out of this world. Tonight the out of the norm above expectation was the tots and dots. Tater tots were obvious, but the "dots" part was the most delicious little bite of fried food I've had in a while. Cheesy creamy sweet bite of corn fritter with a sweet and spicy ketchup that was so simple it was amazing. The evening ended meeting Tony a partner in the taphouse and Had a really refreshing down to earth conversation about the beer menu. We're stoked that they are in the neighborhood in a strip mall with some delicious local eats. We wait for the next phase of the menu! read more

Concord tap House is awesome. I love the cute patio outside. The vanilla cider is so good. The tots n dots are so good.

Just stopped by for the first time and loved it! Service was great, they had a great variety of beer. Wine too for those non beer lovers. They made sure to let us know the kitchen should be open soon, can't wait to see what's on the menu. We will definitely be back to support this place, so happy to have a new local spot that isn't a dive. We need more places like this in our area! read more

We are from out of town and randomly stopped by this place after a concert and it was such a great experience. Frank and Samantha, the bartenders, were very personable and fun to talk to. We had a question about one of the ciders and ended up talking to Tony, one of the owners, who knew so much about everything on tap and it's clear how much energy he puts into selecting the best beers and ciders, as well as creating a nice but casual atmosphere. I definitely recommend checking it out if you want a comfortable and friendly bar. Even though it's an hour and a half away from where we live, we can't wait to go back. read more

Pretty good beer selection overshadowed by the service. You have to go out of your way to be helped when you first walk in, then they don't bother to check on you afterwards. Well I really did give it a try. I show up expecting so much because of the reviews. I was NOT greeted by anyone. Even as I sat down at the bar. I tried several times to make eye contact with any of the bartenders (2 females) to no avail. Then the group of caucasian guys at the bar order food. Low and behold "Service"!. I literally had to wave at the bartenders face and ask her for a menu. She basically handed it to me and left without a word... no hello, no Welcome, no I'll be right with you. I tried to sit there and take it. I ordered right after the guys beside me. The bartenders literally ignored me. My one and only drink was empty, the guys where finishing their food and well I was done. I'd rather spend my money where your skin color does not affect your service. I paid for one beer and left. My food didn't even show up and the guys beside me where done. I couldn't even have a second drink no one wanted to serve me. Would not recommend going there. I know the ethnicity of the owner and wife. That is why I'm shocked. read more

Very relaxing place to visit have a few drinks eat and enjoy the company of either the people you came with or the welcoming and friendly staff. This place had a good vibe, selection of beer, and really yummy bites! I ordered wine that to me smelled a little bad, which is always an awkward situation. But when I told the bartender he smelled it and was very affirming and got me a new glass right away. He apologized and didn't make me feel bad at all. I thought it was handled very well because you would be surprised this happens kinda frequently at beer bars that don't normally sell a lot of wine! Best tap house and restaurant in the outer east bay. The CTH has been consistently adding fantastic variety to their list like Fieldwork, Del Cielo, Moonraker, Henhouse, Epidemic Ales and so much more. Food is pretty good, the vibe is awesome, staff is funny, and the patio is great on a beautiful day. Can't go wrong- unless you're an impatient ultra hangry/thirsty inconsiderate human being- then nothing makes you happy cause you're unhappy with yourself anyway. Really wanted to love this place, but the service was just awful. Wasn't very crowded, yet it took about 10 minutes for anyone to even acknowledge us. The focus was clearly the regulars sitting at the bar. It was hard to get drinks refilled, too! We will give it another try and hope for better service! read more

Great to come here if you want to drink! . They have a wide selection of different types of beers. You can ask for a beer or wine flight to taste a 3-4 selections of different beer/wine. I got the white wine flight for $12. It Came with 3 samples of wine: This place offered typical bar food. Burgers, wraps, fries etc. I got the portabella wrap which was pretty tasty. My boyfriend got the cheeseburger which kind of looked like a McDonald's cheese burger but he did like it. They only serve mustard with the food so you need to ask for ketchup. Also, their side salad is very different. At first I didn't want to try it but it did taste good. It had mandarins, purple onion, pine nuts & I think it was a peanut sauce - kind of like an Asian salad just an FYI it's not your standard side salad but it's pretty good. Overall good customer service & atmosphere. Definitely come here if you want to have a drink night. read more

This place had a good variety of beers and I'm glad to see another tap house in Concord! With that said, it is Concord and every beer was $7-8 when they should be priced at $6-7. Maybe think about a happy hour? With local beers on tap like Cali Craft, Epidemic, etc. it's cheaper to just go there and drink beer. If I'm going to a tap house I'll likely frequent Hop Grenade for the better atmosphere, prices and customer points. read more

Great spot and food recipes are fine HOWEVER, the fried lumpia and the catfish sliders were cooking in very dirty oil and low temperature. And the badder was lost in the cooking or not used. Not the first place I would look for a taproom but parking is easy, and beer selection is varied and rotates weekly. Not just a bunch of IPA's , but a mix of stouts, porters, brown ales, + the lighter beers. Service at the bar is quick and friendly, crowd a friendly mix with good conversation. Just went to Concord tap house for the first time. We are new parents and took our 2.5 month old baby just to get out of the house. This new tap house is in our neighborhood and we met one of the owners. He was super cool and we loved the staff and the service. They had a wide variety of beers on tap that would cater to many people's tastes. This is a walkable distance from our house and could easily become our new go to spot.
