Condado tacos is a new Mexican joint that opened up in the heart of the Ball Park Village. It's swanky design and outdoor seating option makes for a great place to sit in or carry out with a group of friends. Especially with their wide variety of drink menus from the bar! They also accommodate for nonalcoholic beverages with their mock-tail solutions! The service is also really great! The hostess is so sweet and the servers seem to really care about the quality of service they give and the comfort level of their customers. This place is good! And the nachos.. oh my gosh delicious! Came here with a group of seven, we ordered house margaritas and a three dip starter of queso, corn dip, and guacamole. The drinks and dips were really good, however we were all very underwhelmed with our tacos. They were all cold and the flavor was meh. we went to this restaurant on a Tuesday night, without any sporting event happening that night. we were able to be seated in about 15 minutes, which was appreciated with younger children (11 and under). Our waitress was able to take the order relatively quickly, apps arrived quickly and were excellent. (Definitely get the Mexican street corn) It took more than an hour for food to arrive. We were updated at one point that they ran out of rice, and "food should be out soon." After food did arrive, there was an error on one of the orders for our child. It was brought back to the kitchen to be redone. After another 25 minutes, the rest of us had completed our entrees, but still needed to wait AGAIN for a 7yo meal (taco) to be completed. Do yourself a favor and skip Condado. Came here with a group recently and it was pretty mid. The service was not bad and they have nice outdoor seating. The problem was the food - everyone's orders were almost uniformly dry and bland. The protein bowl has a few morsels of chicken and more damp rice than anyone needs. I sat at the bar before 9pm and waited 11 minutes to be greeted, and then another 43 minutes for two tacos to arrive. When inquiring, the bartender told me they were backed up - which would have been helpful to know up front. First time giving this a try and was left pretty impressed. I ended up ordering 3 Power Plant Tacos and was satisfied. They do have a huge selection of tacos to choose from to meet your dietary needs and also sell drinks. Due to ordering to-go I didn't have a chance to experience the ambiance but from I seen it looked pretty clean and have had background music while you ate. Seating was spacious also. This place has lots of potential. The ambiance walking in was very cool and got us excited. The service was pretty good also. The food wasn't bad there were just a couple odd choices like having ice cold slaw on the taco which messes with the temperature. FOOD IS GREAT! They have so many combos for tacos, nachos and bowls. They sauces were delicious and I really enjoyed my tacos I had. The drinks were good too, I had a margarita. The inside is decorated so bright and fun, and also painted by local artist. Definitely give it a try if you're in St. Louis. read more

I typically never leave reviews on this app but I couldn't keep this horrible experience to myself. This was the worst dinning experience I've had in a very long time. The food was ice cold and lacking any real sense of flavor. Service was horrid and there were about 7 people in total in the restaurant. They couldn't even get the fountain drinks right. Had to go to the bar to get our refills once or twice. The best things about the experience is the one beer that I had. I guess it's hard to screw that up when it's brewed right here in St. Louis. Plus the food is pretty pricey. I hate being this guy but I felt I was doing a service to society. 1 out of 5 stars. Now time to try to rinse this awful taste out of my mouth. read more

First time in St. Louis decided to try some tacos before catching a Cardinals game. Wednesday night I wasn't expecting much... however everything was dead extremely dead. Walked in service was great got a beer fast and ordered. Well having high hopes food comes out super fast.... seems to me tacos are premade everything was cold and taco shells were soggy immediately. I don't order anything that was heavily sauces or greasy so to me it's easy to say these are pre-made. For the price $6-$7 a taco these should be made to order. Excellent service. Didn't really have to wait that long, but the server did compensate us for the wait. Food was bussin'. I liked the Avacado Ranch. The art work was abstract and by local artists. I would not recommend Condado tacos to anyone. I had the build your own nachos and a beer - the beer and atmosphere were good but the nachos were terrible. The chips were very stale, not even salted at all, and had a flour taste to them. The toppings and sauces were ok at best. read more
