The place looked like an upscale cafeteria feel inside, which was nice. The service was friendly. It ultimately had a feeling of a familiar place where locals would meet for coffee and a biscuit. Contimo has a new location! No longer near COPIA but in a storefront in downtown Napa. A nice parking lot next door that wasn't crowded early in the am during the pandemic. We were craving biscuit sandwiches and decided to take our monthly field trip, during the pandemic, this time to Napa. Contimo's location is very nice. We could've found a place to eat nearby but chose to just savor our yummy biscuit sandwiches in the car. Crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. The best biscuits ever!!! As i was waiting for our my order, I overheard a customer asking how large the biscuits are. The reply was "as big as a cat's face". I busted out laughing. I would fly across the country again just to visit this place. All of the food is so good. You really can't go wrong with what you order, but I'd guesstimate that the human body probably can't handle more than two visits here within a single day. I have to say that I actually enjoyed the biscuit more than the bacon. It was buttery, soft and complemented the bacon and molasses. I liked how the molasses wasn't overpowering. Each ingredients seemed to compliment eachother. Yes I wondered how this would taste with an egg but I read you cannot add an egg to these sandwiches. Great service and fresh food. Not much more you can ask for. I got a coffee and sausage biscuit. Even though it sandwich is simply sausage and a biscuit (no sauce or anything else) it was warm, toasty, fresh and authentic. My biscuit was burnt but still delicious. Our favorites: The poached chicken. The bread is soft yet crunchy (not like those sandwiches that are soggy or cut the roof of your mouth), the chicken is juicy, enough vegetables to counterbalance the meat and the lemon jam! What a revelation. It's not a fancy meal, but it will change your view on just how good a sandwich can be. As for a little snack, try cookies!
