This review is a long time coming. Since the first job we had David DeLima do, we had him do…read moreanother job in 2022 to do the rest of the house. The second job was a nightmare. 2+ years later we have failing floors both downstairs and upstairs. Vinyl planks that were cut short were sliding out from under the baseboards. He installed quarter round (wood) molding around our bathtub instead of cutting the flooring flush - wood and water don't mix well. The entire bottom floor that was installed on concrete is missing a vapor barrier. David came back to take a look at the floor a couple of times and blamed the product not the install. Despite his assurances that he would make it right and "take care of us" he has not been responsive to our calls and texts. He says he has since gone out of business, which I'm not sure if that is true because his contractor's license is still active. At this point my wife and I are gathering our documentation and reporting him to the licensing board and will try to go after his Performance Bond that he was covered under during the installation. Let him deal with the state and not have to deal with him anymore ourselves.

It feels so soft and plush, I now prefer just walking around barefoot because of how comfortable it is. I really want to give a special shout out to Vahn Manuel, one of the flooring consultants, and Elias Dayeh, one of the in home sales consultant. Elias came to my home and was able to create a floor plan, go through the pricing with me, listened to all of my questions and concerns, and gave me a VERY reasonable quote. While I never met Vahn, he made sure I was taken care of! He has been responsive and easy to speak with over the phone and email. He and Elias both helped me get the information I needed to also submit an HOA application quickly to get approved to replace the carpet. After the carpet was placed, I did notice a very small black stain. I almost missed it, but once I knew it's there my eyes were always drawn. I felt bad reaching out to Vahn about this one small stain but he reassured me that it's their responsibility to fix it and will send someone over. Overall I'm very happy with this project, would recommend S&G Carpet :)

I have called the sales persons 4 times and spoke with Victoria, the "manager" once. She says she'll help but doesn't even respond. Another salesperson states I need to contact customer service but they don't answer the phone or call back either. I am at wits end rn. The floor is mostly laid but missing 1 box. I have a deadline of June 30 which is long passed now. On another note, my last purchase at S&G came in on time but the S&G installation was a fiasco. I swore i'd never go back. I didn't listen myself because this was just an order pick up. Apparently they can't do that either.

The best part of the experience was the install and the install team. Manny and his crew absolutely crushed it. We had an issue with an unlevel floor, and they took the time to add self-leveling compound to fix the problem the right way. We also have a ridiculous amount of stairs -- 34 total -- that were previously covered in carpet, and they now look amazing. Manny and his team were excellent from start to finish. Highly recommend.

From the very beginning, they were professional, organized, and incredibly patient. After the flooring was delivered, I realized it wasn't the right choice for the space. I was honestly nervous to speak up, but they immediately reassured me and didn't make me feel rushed or difficult at all. Instead, they encouraged me to take my time. I spent a full week reviewing additional samples in my home until I found the perfect one, and they supported me through that entire process with total grace. What really stood out is that they went a step further -- they actually reached out to past clients here in Brentwood who had similar flooring and scheduled times for me to go into their homes and see the floors in real life. That level of trust and relationship with their clients speaks volumes. The demo was handled efficiently and cleanly, and they coordinated seamlessly with other projects happening in the home (painting, cabinet work, furniture timing). The installation itself is beautiful -- They also went above and beyond in ways that weren't even part of their scope. After demo, they fixed a squeak in our stairs -- something they didn't have to do, but took care of anyway. It's those little things that show the kind of team they are. Every day, they left the job site -- my home -- clean and organized. The owners were incredible, and the entire team truly shines in their individual roles. I started my research a few months prior to getting my keys to the new construction home. I couldn't even see my stairs with the hardwood completed. All I had were the hardwood samples as reference. Amanda is truly a white glove service. While other floor companies were more concerned of measurements and just providing me a price of what the work would cost, Amanda had a full picture approach. She has the best communication even over txt. I'm a mom of 2 under 6 yr old and it's quite difficult for me to pick up the phone so txting is by far my communication of choice. Her goal was to ensure I would love the product even if I was just purchasing material from her. I went to her sample store to check out her products and she helped me find a few samples that could be a potential fit and I'm thrilled that we found the absolute perfect product! Her store has hardwood, lvp, laminate and carpet to choose from. I ordered lvp, carpet and carpet padding from her. Fairly fast shipping. She ensured smooth pick up from her warehouse. All their products really elevated my home and the hardwood to lvp-SEAMLESS!!! I would highly recommend Latta floors with your needs especially if you're a burnt out mom with kids.

Kam (the owner) regularly checked with us on site to see how the job was going and if we were happy with the progress. We requested some small changes along the way and they were readily accommodated with no cost change. The installers were pure craftsmen with the installed materials. All joints and cuts were precise. They were very polite and accommodating during the installation process, cleaned up the work area each night, and were very respectful of our house and its contents. The finished work is phenomenal and a great upgrade to our house and the ability to clean it!! I highly recommend them!

Her cabinets had what I would describe as a subtle pink hue to them and therefore it was very difficult to find flooring that both contrasted and toned down the subtle pink hue. After 3 trips to and from the store I had found the winner. I was a little dissapointed that the install date was about a month out but at the same time the need for expeediency was mine, and not their fault. That said the two sales people I interacted with were the absolute best. I could not have asked for better help. The install guy, Oscar, was fantastic with communication. He was able to handle add ons with ease and called to verify specifics during the install, rather than just assume like some companies do. He called me and asked me directly, and I sincerely appreciate that. Not only that, but the two last minute necessary add ons did not raise the bill substantially like it might at some other places. Their prices were fair and I feel like I got a good deal, especially given what I percieve to be the high quality of both the product and the installation. The store staff were very helpful navigating us through the selection process questions and answers. Our installer Alberto worked long hours past 5 pm installation day to complete this job. The pattern layout was perfect and I highly recommend him. And many thanks to Ivan the installation supervisor who coordinated timely shipping of the tiles from Georgia when we needed a few additional for completion. It was a 5 star experience.
