This is the Grilled crusted salmon over vegetable hash
    John L.

I have a couple of favorites. The grilled crusted salmon over a vegetable hash is delicious. When everyone is trying to put a great spin on Brussels Sprouts, trust me Chris has nailed this. I recommend the Lamb Sirloin this is an epic combination of wonderful flavors and accents. Try the fish tacos.

Yet another case of "why haven't I eaten here before?" Went on a weeknight around 6:15 and it was surprisingly dead. The server mentioned that it's pretty typical for them in the summer. The decor inside was nice and clean but unfortunately the cigar smell from the place next door was nauseating. I've read they are moving eventually and I couldn't be happier for them since it's not their fault the restaurant smells like an ashtray. The food was fresh, cooked perfectly, served hot and we couldn't really ask for more. We had burgers and steak sandos and both were top notch. The steak had a really nice flavor from what I assume was a marinade and the burgers were huge. Surprisingly, I really enjoyed the fries. I'm usually not a big fan of fries and these were some of the better ones I've had. You couldn't taste the oil, they were crispy and lightly salted. I'm truly looking forward to going back, hopefully once they're in their new place. I can't wait to try some of their full entrees although I will steal some of the kids' fries!!

The food was absolutely outstanding ! I got the crispy skin salmon and it was to die for ! I'm so excited that I tried this new place and they exceeded my expectations ! Thank you for a great experience !

Parking lot in the front is limited, there is additional parking in the back, but also limited. Seats weren't the greatest for size inclusivity, but not bad. Loved our server, she was really nice. The aesthetic is really cute in there. Lower lighting is almost always a vibe. The wait was to be desired. I loved the short ribs and the sauce was really good. I was not a huge fan of the wings. The sauce was good, just didn't like the texture.

Another day, another wonderful meal at Cook & Dagger! Even though I don't live in this area, it's 100% worth going out of my way to dine here. They have limited hours, and you likely won't need a reservation at least on a weekday. The red sangria was the perfect start to the meal rounded out by an incredible poutine topped with short rib and mushroom gravy, cheddar cheese curds and a fried egg. It's one of my favorite renditions of poutine I've had! I could have honestly eaten that as my entrée and been utterly satisfied. Next up was the short rib grilled cheese with mushroom bisque. The sandwich was lovely, perfectly crisp with a nice balance of fillings. The bisque was tasty but the tiniest bit too salty for my taste. For dessert we couldn't resist the mixed berry shortcake. From the freshly baked biscuit to the pillow of fresh whipped cream and the sweet macerated berries it was the most delicious ending to our meal. I'll also add that our server was really great! He was incredibly friendly, professional, helpful, and was present often enough to provide great service but also gave us our space to chat and catch up and take our time with our meal as needed. 10/10

The menu is seasonal which I love, and I look forward to trying a new menu for each season. The location is on a cute little street with on street parking and a small lot in the back. The server was very friendly polite and funny. You could tell the food was made from scratch. The brussel sprouts were my favorite. The burger was delicious, and a good size so there was leftovers. The croquettes were cooked very nicely. I look forward to trying the rest of their menu and hopefully desert next time!

My husband and I just had dinner at Cook & Dagger! We've been wanting to try it since they were in Greenville but never had a chance to stop in. Tonight we made it a point to come for dinner. Eve was such a sweetheart and made our experience so great! The drinks and food were so delicious! Great portions as well. Also, the restaurant itself is SO adorable! It's so cozy, love how the windows open to outside. We'll definitely be back again! 10/10 thank you so much:)

Been craving the chicken and dumplings. Never disappoints! Service was exceptional, Eve was so attentive and pleasant. Highly recommend reservations as it is small and cozy.

So good!! I've driven by this place many times but never stopped. My friend and I came last night and I'm so glad we did!! She said the menu changes with the seasons, so we got the winter menu. It was SO good. Sangria, poutine with braised short rib and mushroom gravy and fried egg, and the short rib Mac and cheese with mushroom bisque. We also split the berry shortcake for dessert, which I highly recommend. Everything was so good - it came out quick, hot, and delicious. I'd never had poutine before and I'm afraid that nothing will ever live up to this one, it was that good. I'll definitely be back!!

I've now been back again, and man, they just do things right. From the cocktails to the thoughtful and interesting menu to the knowledgeable waitstaff. This is just one of the best places to eat around, and with a relatively casual setting. No stuffiness like other finer dining restaurants!

We came in with another group in front of us, so unfortunately, we didn't get the chance to say the password ourselves, but we'd love to return for the full experience! Be warned that the place is quite small, so you'll most likely have to wait since they do not take reservations. For a party of two on a Saturday night, our wait was around 40 minutes, and we were eventually seated by the bar. I will say that the seating arrangements could be thought out a little better because we had to play musical chairs quite a few times throughout the night. That aside, the drinks themselves were quite good! You can tell the bartenders are very skilled and passionate about crafting their cocktails. For any Star Wars fans out there, the tiki drinks are served in mugs featuring some of your favorite characters, which was such a fun touch! Overall, the drinks were on the pricier side, but I'd say they were well worth it. Definitely a fun spot to check out!

Most recently, I tried the "oyster shell martini" that featured gin, dry vermouth, riesling, oyster acid, & lemon oils. I loooove a savory, weird drink. I saw it & knew I needed to try it. Unfortunately, it was seriously imbalanced. It was wine heavy, with an extremely poisonous aftertaste that lingered forever & ever & ever. I would never order this again. I'm sure I'll be back in the future. Again, the ambience is unbeatable. It's a great place to take a date or a group of Star Wars lovers.

I'm honestly not sure how I missed it, because this is exactly the kind of place I like finding. It is the true definition of a small cocktail bar. The space is tiny, intimate, and has a very specific atmosphere, so if you're looking for a big place with plenty of tables, this probably isn't it. If you're looking for a great cocktail in a cozy little bar, however, you're in the right place. The cocktail menu is excellent. There are a lot of creative options that go well beyond the standard collection of Old Fashioneds, Margaritas, and Martinis you'll find at most bars. The drinks are imaginative without becoming gimmicky, and the combinations we tried were really well balanced and interesting. You can tell there is some serious thought behind the cocktail program, and it makes ordering something new a lot of fun. Our waitress was fantastic as well. My wife ordered a drink that apparently isn't something every bartender is familiar with, so our waitress went back to the bartender to ask about it. The bartender immediately knew exactly what she was talking about, which was a nice little reminder that these people actually know their drinks. Our waitress was friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience easy without hovering over us. The music deserves a mention, too. It was fantastic and fit the atmosphere perfectly. The Eddy has that comfortable, slightly dark cocktail-bar feeling where you can sit down, have a drink, listen to good music, and actually enjoy being there rather than feeling like you're sitting in a loud restaurant waiting for someone to bring you your check. My only real warning is that this place is genuinely small. That is part of its charm, but it also means getting in and finding a seat can be difficult at times, particularly when it's busy. You probably shouldn't show up with a large group expecting to immediately find a table. For two people looking for a couple of really good cocktails, though, it's pretty much ideal. The prices are also quite reasonable for the quality of the drinks. You're obviously paying cocktail-bar prices rather than dive-bar prices, but I didn't feel like we were being taken advantage of. Considering the creativity and quality of what we were drinking, I thought the prices were perfectly fair. I'm actually a little annoyed that I went this long without knowing The Eddy existed. Providence has so many cocktail bars that you can spend years here and still keep discovering places you've somehow walked past a hundred times. The Eddy is definitely going on the list of places we need to come back to, and we will 100% be back.
