Unfortunately their website is antiquated and does not actually alert you when a zip code is entered that is not in their coverage zone (but literally a mile difference!). The flippant owner had really no regard for the fact that I had chosen her establishment out of MANY other options to send a special cookie surprise to my friend in Marina del Rey. While she was willing to refund my order - she wasn't willing to make it right to the person in MDR who was expecting a delivery of cookies. And she literally laughed when I suggested we send a gift card/ cookies via mail!!?? Sad :( I love supporting local businesses but wow what a disaster. Note to owner - you're only as good as your customer service which has been offensive. Note to South Bay friends - AVOID! Great cookies but there is something wrong with ordering through Yelp. Theres an option for "size" and "choose a size". Both are required. If you choose both as half dozen, and add to cart, you'll end up with 12 cookies ( and charged for 12). Essentially, there is no way to order half a dozen cookies. read more

The Cookies are so good and fresh. You can call to make a pick up order or they also deliver depending on your location. The pick up location is a liquor store right next to the address listed. Trust me the Cookies are worth the process and you will not be disappointed. read more

I decided to email the company and leave a voicemail asking for a very special delivery for my nephew and his family since I am located in Atlanta, GA. Well to my surprise, I received a call back that day from this really nice guy who was asked to come in just to fulfill the special delivery for my nephew. Not much to say! This place reminds me of insomnia cookies (freshly baked cookies from a food truck that are so addicting!) The cookies were warm and delicious! I ordered a dozen cookies for pickup (can order up to 4 different flavors per dozen) and they were all freshly baked and yummy! They also do late night delivery! Be aware if picking up, the address is a liquor store and yes it is correct. There are no signs ( at least none that I saw saying cookie zombie). I was in Redondo Beach and was mad craving for cookies one night (well, I always crave cookies, on the real) so I looked on Yelp to see if there was any cookie places open that night. Surprisingly I found Cookie Zombie... a place that bakes cookies to order, and open late night! OMG. This was a dream come true! On another night, my friend and I decided to get some of their cookies. We had such a hard time choosing cookies flavors, as with one dozen you get get up to 4 flavors. We got the chocolate chip, the peanut butter, the red velvet, and the cookies and cream. To save some cash on delivery we picked up the cookies at the Holly Main Liquor store in El Segundo. It was kind of funny meeting the cookie delivery person because it looked like I was making drug deal outside the liquor store, giving cash and exchanging it for my fix... my cookie fix!!! Ughhhh the cookies were warm and they were amazing. They even threw a few more cookies in there. How nice! All cookies were good but I fell in love with the cookies and cream and the PB cookies!!! They were so so good. The next few weeks I ordered another dozen again, this time trying the double chocolate blueberry, lemon drizzle, and the oatmeal. raisin. All cookies were very good again! The lemon drizzle was my favorite out of that dozen. I loved the real lemon flavor and the fact it wasn't too sweet! Just perfect. If only I lived closer I would be ordering from Cookie Zombie more often, but I guess its a good thing for my diet and also it makes every dozen from Cookie Zombie a special time. Ordered again! Out of my dozen this time around, I had to order 6 chocolate chip cookies because last time I only ordered 3 - and that definitely wasn't enough. In addition to this, I ordered 3 Funfetti cookies again (can't get over the sugar cookie/Fruity Pebbles combination), and 3 Abrakadabrah's which is apparently Natasha's favorite as stated on the website, so I had to try it. Also got some milk, which was handy. All of it was delicious. I am definitely going to order again when I see new menu items pop up. Customer service is great. I made a mistake on my part when I ordered, but Natasha reached out to me quickly offering me alternative options. We worked it out perfectly and I got delicious cookies (thanks again for the extra cookies as bonus!). Cookies were delivered hot and the milk was cold by Natasha. She is extremely friendly. This is our all-time favorite treat!! Especially when I have a last minute house full of hungry kids and hungrier parents! We have ordered from CZ probably a dozen times, and every time they are delivered piping-hot in a timely fashion. And don't expect to have left-overs--NO WAY! The owner is so accommodating and friendly. I even asked if they could start making gluten-free cookies, and after they experimented with some recipes for a couple weeks...BAM! Last week I used this service for the first time when I wanted to send my pregnant sister a last minute treat before she went into labor. She was so surprised and loved the cookies. I sent her a dozen cookies and milk, she ate them all. We were such fans that we ordered a dozen cookies again this week, but this time we all got to enjoy them. Natasha was great over email, very quick response time and really helpful. Initially, everything was awesome, I called in telling the man on the phone my address and that I was in Playa del Rey, after he mumbled "Westchester" and I repeated Playa del Rey. About 40+ minutes had passed and I called back to see if the cookies were on their way. I was told they were, by the same male who recieved my first phone call. Then I asked if they were being delivered to the proper address to which that male responded very rudely with "they're going to whatever address you told me" as he recited the address minus the city, which was the part I was asking about. The young man who delivered the cookies called me and asked if he was at the right address (which he was not) but after he delivered my cookies, he was very kind. Great idea for a business. I ordered - and paid for - 6 dozen cookies for a work function through their website. When they didn't arrive at the scheduled time, I called and someone who sounded like a zombie said they definitely received the order, but forgot about it. No cookies for us. Not cool.
