I had Cookie Zombie about 7 months ago & felt meh. Tonight we figured, hey why not try again. Man oh man I'm so glad we did! We had the birthday cookie, omfg, darth reeses & chocolate trio. Every. Single. Cookie. Was. SO. GOOD!!! They threw in a surprise 13th cookie that was the mint chip one, that one was super yummy too! Will definitely be ordering again read more

I wasn't aware or I guess I didn't pay attention that this was a delivery only place. My husband and I showed up in El Segundo at 12 o'clock at night in front of a closed liquor store. We were totally confused. So once we called they told us we had to place an order and they would deliver it to us. So we stood out on Main Street and Holly for about 20 minutes with no business open near us and waited for our cookies. Then suddenly a delivery driver Appeared and handed us our a box of cookies. Then we hopped in an Uber and went back to our hotel. The cookies were great they were nice and warm. They were very thick and full which I like. I'm only giving them four stars because of the weird location that we were directed to. read more

Holy smokes the BEST cookies in the South Bay!!! Easy to use website for ordering, speedy delivery, tasty flavors, multiple options, and dog friendly. It's hard to pick just a few flavors so I always order a couple dozen. I love the option of adding milk and ice cream. Order Cookie Zombie for your next Netflix binge sesh or party. I love the concept of Cookie Zombie! There are stores all around LA with artisanal ice cream or donuts, but not many out there with freshly baked artisanal cookies! Cookie Zombie is delivery only (or pick up at the liquor store). No hassle to drive out on those lazy nights when you have the munchies. I've ordered from them several times and my favorites are definitely the Cookies & Cream, Apple Oatmeal Caramel, and Funfetti. I also enjoy anything with butterscotch or toffee, but that's because I have a huge sweet tooth. You can't get these flavored cookies elsewhere which makes this business so special! What's also great is that these are made to order so that they are FRESH and WARM when they're delivered to your door. I don't eat all the cookies in one sitting though, so the next day, I just heat them up and they taste just as good! YUM :) read more

Cookie Zombie is a true gem! Their chocolate chips cookies are the best damn chocolate chip cookies I've ever had in my life. And I've eaten A LOT of chocolate chip cookies. I'm fortunate that our office is in El Segundo because we order from them quite often. Nothing brightens people's day more than the smell of freshly baked cookies. Their prices are more than fair and they're usually right on time. I wish you guys delivered in Hawthorne but I am more than happy to do pick ups. read more

These cookies were amazing. They delivered them earlier and they were warm and delicious. The OMFG were fantastic the chocolate was melting in your mouth. Cookies and cream were also fantastic. This was a hit in my house everybody was so impressed by these cookies. Today was my 1st ordered but I know that I will keep ordering these cookies. This review is well over due. The first time I tried them for my gf's bday and they were nice enough to deliver to her work during the day even though it was out of their delivery zone. Cookies arrived on time, fresh out of the oven/still warm, and were delicious. Second time I had the driver meet me since I live in Torrance and it's slightly out of their zone.. no biggie. Got the Grandmas oatmeal, oatmeal choc chip, OMFG, and white choc macadamia nut. They even threw in 2 free funfetti cookies which was pretty cool of them. Every cookie is delicious but my favorites so far in order are: OMFG, White choc mac, and grandmas oatmeal. Will definitely be ordering from them again and I highly recommend trying them out if you're in the area and in the mood for fresh warm/tasty cookies read more

It's a peculiar thing to pick up cookies at a liquor store, but that's also what has me hooked (aside from the delicious cookies)! It's reminiscent of the days of prohibition and knowing the secret password. Beware there's a $3 charge if you don't bring cash, but they are generous if the cookies are small and you'll almost always get an extra cookie with your dozen. read more

My sister had recently joined Job Core in downtown LA and was spending her first birthday there alone and wasn't able to come home. She's only 16 years old and we're a large family of 8 kids. She was obviously sad and disappointed. I saw the giant cookie that this company makes and decided to surprise her on her birthday by sending flowers, balloons, and this cookie since I would be away in New York. I called and made the order for the day of her birthday with a delivery range where she'd be at lunch. It never came... They had called me that morning before I boarded my plane home and said that they called prior to see if rose would be able to receive the delivery. And that they were told rose didn't work there. That's because she doesn't. She's a student. I told them I had already called and asked the head security and they said it was okay. So I boarded my plane and expected to get a call or text when I arrive back in California. I didn't. I called and found out it never came. So... I called the next day and it was explained to me that they had never charged my card when I made the order a week or two prior. And just charged it that morning before deliveries. I had emptied that card, as it was my financial aid card and not my debit card. So it was declined. They finally sent it the next day... the day after her birthday... and my sister said it was hard like it was old and they DIDNT EVEN SPELL HER NAME CORRECTLY. Over the phone I describe the cookie I found with circle designs and said to put happy birthday Rose. They said okay. No problem. The cookie said happy birthday RUSE ?! Seriously. It makes me wonder if they did it in purpose because I called upset she didn't get it the right day. My sister said she took some pictures and showed it to people and then threw it away because it was old. I was so upset. I still am to be honest. These cookies are for special occasions like this... and they have this many issues. I will never order from them again read more

Ok I've been attacked by the Cookie Zombie and my taste buds will never be the same! We discovered this wonderful on demand cookie service by browsing through the Eat24 app, and decided to place an order. The flavors are out of this world, we ordered a dozen and a pint of ice cream....omg!!! I am blown away by how good these cookies are. Not to mention they arrive warm at your door! We tried the cookies n cream, omfg and birthday cake...all were fantastic! The ice cream was unlike anything we've had...highly recommend the campfire s'mores! At first I thought this was sketch...picking up my cookies at the local liquor store but then I met the owner who showed up with my delivery and he was so chill and nice like a normal guy that you could call a friend. Yes, that's right they don't actually have a brick and mortar store, but they do have delivery! Cookie Zombie makes some delicious fresh-baked cookies with unique flavors. The convenience of their service is what sold me, fresh baked cookies made to order. We didn't do delivery however after picking up our cookies they stayed warm even until we got home. I am, what I consider, an OG Cookie Zombie customer. From the beginning, the very concept of a fresh baked late night cookie delivery service was too good to be true. Add on the fact that the menu is unique and varied, the price is right, and the cookies always taste damn good...well, Cookie Zombie had me hooked from the start. What should you order? Any time the chocolate chip is on the menu, get it. Another favorite is the Lemon Drizzle, as well as the Darth Reese's and Sweet PB. If you're lucky, Cookies and Cream (sugar cookie dough with white chocolate chips and crushed Oreo's!) or OMFG (her chocolate chip cookies with 3X the chips!) will be on the menu. Seriously, try all of these. I highly suggest ordering a dozen and getting four different types. Occasionally, CZ has super awesome specials, like 2 for 1 night. We honestly bought 2 dozen cookies one night for $14. I suggest signing up for the text alerts. She doesn't send them often, but when she does it's a really good deal. Natasha, the creator, baker, and head zombie is always reasonable, always friendly, and bakes a mean cookie. If her customer service doesn't impress you, her chocolate chip cookie will. If you're fortunate enough to live within the delivery area and haven't tried Cookie Zombie yet, let me enlighten you...Cookie Zombie is the best thing to happen to the South Bay since sliced bread. I've ordered three times now. Chocolate chip, every time. I have them delivered to Holly Main liquor for pick-up as I live too close by and I can grab some wine at the same time. These cookies get more delish every time and I usually receive a "bakers dozen"! Warm and packaged in a cute pizza box, soooo buttery delish! Wish I could quit you Cookie Zombie but you make it so hard (or way to easy) to do!! Note: After reading some of the negative reviews and I'd like to recommend you call the phone number over placing an online order. I had a hiccup once with an online order as well but they helped to correct it and I received my order at my door instead of picking it up at the liquor store. They are so good!!! I needed some desserts delivered to my office because of how the elections went and everyone was in a bad mood. Plus it was my birthday so I had to get something nice going. I'm not sure what happened. My satisfaction level is absorbed with delicious and warm gooiness. Was having an easy Saturday evening and next thing I know fresh baked cookies and cold milk were being delivered to my door. I mean, I don't see any other need to explain more. Very awesome. read more

So good! Cookie Zombie came by LMU last year and put a business card in my car window and a year later, I've finally gotten around to ordering. So here's my review: AMAZING!!! Ahhh. They are so delicious. I ordered a dozen cookies and got the abracadabra, cookies and cream, funfetti, and blueberry butterscotch and they are all to die for. When I called and placed my order I was told that it would take about an hour and Boom! At 9 o clock on the dot my cookies were here, warm and baked to perfection. Really cool small business and really yummy treats. Did I mention they threw in some extra cookies? Yesss! read more

We get these catered at our office in El Segundo and I often get some on my own, as well. The OMFG and funfetti are good staple items. -They have a rotating daily menu -There is a $3 charge for using credit card so pay cash -They arrive still hot and yes, it's amazing -Have milk ready or buy some through CZ because these are gooey and deserve a good wash down -Late delivery to surrounding El Segundo areas! read more

The greatest cookies in the world. I ordered them for a couple company events and pretty much all my co-workers loved them. What I love about Cooke Zombie is the chewy/fresh-out-the oven feel that lasts for hours. Being the one that picks up the cookies occasionally, I consider it a perk and a privilege to taste them first. What's more, the menu constantly changes, but the excellent quality remains the same. The seasonal flavors are a nice quality and cookie names rock! I am now a cookie zombie. Gimme more. read more

It was a nice surprise. We liked how they kept the cookies warm and yummy. Being that this is "Hollywood", I thought we might get a "zombie" in full makeup at the door, but having the owner of the company was better. I don't think a "zombie" would get very far into El Segundo, considering our police department here! This place took forever for do a pick up order. We ordered online and went to the liquor store, not sketchy or anything but we had to wait outside for an hour and the delivery guy kept having to come back. It took me seeing the delivery guy 3 times before we ended up with even more cookies then ordered. Finally get the cookies and they were okay. Kinda buttery but it was nice to have fresh baked cookies. Gave it a try but won't be back. Prices were very expensive for not really good cookies. read more

My friend and I were at dinner trying to decide on dessert that wasn't at the restaurant. A quick Yelp search yielded Cookie Zombie. We were able to mobile order from the restaurant and timed it to arrive at the apartment by the time we got home from dinner. We just got traditional chocolate chip and mint chocolate chip cookies. They arrived on time, were warm, and tasted great. The price is a little high for a dozen, but you know what? For late night cookies delivered to your door once and a while, it's totally worth it. And if you wanna cut the cost more, you can always order by phone and pick it up anyway. read more

My last review was in August of 2014, I then have ordered from Cookie Zombie at least 15 times. Every time I order, the cookies are fresh, hot and taste delicious. I usually order a dozen, then go to the Holly Main Liquor store and pick it up from there, I would have it delivered if possible, but unfortunately I'm out of there delivery range. When you buy a dozen you can choose any 4 flavors, I always get the OMFG, Sweet PB, Cookies n Creme & Funfetti. The OMFG: A chocolate chip cookie with extra chocolate chips and the Best tasting cookie I've ever had in my life. Period. The Sweet PB: A Peanut Butter cookie with reese's pieces, if you like peanut butter and a cookie that's soft in the middle, with crunchy reese's pieces at times definitely get this one! The Cookies n Creme: Basically a cookie for all the Oreo lovers, Crushed Oreo pieces and white chocolate chips. The Funfetti: This cookie is pretty unique, it's sort of like a fruity cookie because it's got fruity pebbles in it. It's pretty good. Unfortunately, they don't put the OMFG cookie on the menu often, Hopefully one day it becomes a regular! The only downside to CZ is there delivery range, If they could extend there delivery range i'm sure they could increase there business and make a lot of customers feel the joy of having a cookie from CZ. I stopped by Cookie Zombie and had such a good experience! The cashier was super friendly, and when I opened my box I was surprised with extra cookies. The flavors were honest and pure. My favorite of the bunch was the chocolate croissant. It was flakey, buttery and filled with the most delightful dark chocolate morsels; not too sweet, not too bitter just pure goodness. It paired well with my coffee, but should pair equally well with a glass of milk. Heck, all this talk has got me hungry for another one!!! Lastly, I respect and appreciate a company that stands behind their product (no compromise). Again, everything is certified organic and the dough is slow fermented (30 hours). This process enhances flavor, texture, digestibility for the gluten sensitive, better bioavailability of nutrients and enhances shelf life without adding preservatives. Finally, the young lady at the counter was super pleasant, knowledgeable and caring. I managed retail for nearly 20 years and I know good customer service when I see it and you will find none better than at Frogs. I will certainly be back to sample the rest of the menu.
