I don't know what I love about this place more; That the cookies are delicious or That they're open till Midnight LOL Seriously these cookies are great. They have over a dozen different cookies to choose from and best of all they bake them fresh!! Thats right they bake them fresh for you when you order. Come on what is better then a fresh baked cookie :) Cookie Zombie also has ice cream and very tasty drinks. I think I would consider them milk shakes. The staff and the owner are all super friendly and tend to toss in extra cookies :) They even deliver to most of the SouthBay. The shop is small but everything is clean & neat and there is plenty of parking in the clean, well lit lot. Again I need to say just how good these fresh baked cookies are. They taste like homemade cookies from when you were a kid. AND you can get them until midnight :)

C is for Cookie Zombie! It was 10pm and we had serious dessert cravings after dinner, so thank you, Yelpers, for helping us find such an amazing treat. We were pleasantly surprised that the cookies are made fresh to order, they text you when it's ready, usually in about 10-12 minutes. Good thing we live close by, because it was still warm by the time we got home. We all dug in, cookie by cookie. You'll definitely want a glass of milk or coffee alongside, but it's so worth it. The five of us shared a dozen and still couldn't finish them all. I can't pick a favorite, but the peanut M&M, cookies and cream, and funfetti were all excellent.

I heard about Cookie Zombie through Yelp. I was invited last year to try them out and my family and I love their cookies. I was recently in town and excited that they were open, because they are usually open in the evenings, late evening evenings. They're located in a residential area, but have business parking and plenty. There are benches and chairs and tables outside to sit and wait for your order. These cookies are baked fresh on the spot. The worker tonight was super friendly and open to answering questions, and I love that she recommended the Apple caramel cookie, I loved it! We also got a bonus cookie with our dozen and she recommended the chocolate raspberry, it was so good! I ordered a dozen and tried their OMFG, Cookies & Cream, Chocolate Chip and Apple Oatmeal Caramel. Anytime I am in the area, this will definitely be the spot to stop and grab a dozen before I head home. I highly recommend grabbing some sweet treats if you're nearby.

Amazing bake-to-order cookies! Went for an after dinner dessert. Was in a quiet neighborhood in a plaza that was pretty dimly lit. Sort of fits the name of the store. Went in - there's about 15ish types of cookies available. Most sounded pretty good so we ordered a dozen cookies to try a few - they are small, but not bite sized. After about 15 min the cookies were ready and we picked them up. They were piping hot - which makes for an amazing cookie. The worker also threw in a few extra cookies and a milk as well since it was our first time. My favs were the OMFG (basically a little bit of cookie dough with a bunch of chocolate inside), the fig cookie (kind of like a fig newton), the peanut butter cookie (forgot the name of it - but it has like Reese's pieces in it I think), and the chocolate cookie with white chocolate. Would def recommend and will be back soon!

A few of my friends and I drove to Cookie Zombie to tryout their cookies. We were told that the cookies were were really good. The business is located in the cut, in a small business strip located in a residential area and a small park. We came on a late Saturday afternoon and it was not busy yet. There was only one person working so it took a bit to place our orders, since the guy went to the back after each order to put the cookies for that order into the oven. There are a few tables and chairs and benches in front of the business to wait for your order. (Inside is only for walking in to order. No seating.) The wait wasn't long and we were rewarded with some freshly baked, hot and delicious cookies! Definitely worth the wait. As you can see from the pictures, the presentation looks good. We sat outside and enjoyed our treats. They also offer drinks, including milk, cold brew coffee and water, Thrifty brand ice cream, and a selection of "merch". They are open late on the weekend. (And a couple of additional employees arrived to likely assist with the evening rush.) Give them a try. You won't be disappointed!

I came here again last night for another sweet tooth fix. This place reminds me on insomnia cookies but of course local, and I love it! They're always so kind when you walk in. I know it's late night and I never feel like I'm being rushed to order. The baker there in an extra cookie in there which thank you so much! I got the apple oatmeal caramel cookie and a funfetti. I loved both of them. Last time I got the red velvet and these new flavors I tried were the best!!

They actually drew my initials on the box in scary letters, nice touch!

I've had multiple orders, each time me and my wife were blown away! The Cookies and Cream, regular Choc Chip are top notch and the OMFG cookies are NEXT LEVEL. And they threw in an extra cookie! For those of you craving something sweet, this is the spot. We received a warm welcome upon entering, and the young lady at the counter was more than happy to answer any questions we had. There's a display showcasing all the cookie flavors so you can see what they look like, and the walls are decorated with menus and a fun lineup of their branded apparel. There are over a dozen flavors to choose from, and the best part -- they're baked fresh to order (literally baked the moment you order). We went with the half-dozen box and tried the Oatmeal Craisin, Pumpkin Harvest, and Abracadabra. The cookies were moist and absolutely decadent. If we had one suggestion, it would be to make the oatmeal cookies a bit crispier and less chewy. The standout for us was definitely the Abracadabra -- rich, moist, and bursting with flavor. The butterscotch just explodes across your taste buds. Almost forgot the extra one I grabbed -- the Uncle Buck, a chewy chocolate chip and walnut combo that was downright delicious. We're already planning a return trip to try more flavors!

Best cookies I've had in my life by far. And let me tell you, I've had my fair share of cookies... Such a fun environment to walk into with a welcoming smile ready to help you out. We ordered a dozen, and to our beautiful surprise ended up with 16!!! Wow. So great. Each bite was like a tiny warm hug. So amazing, so yummy. 10/10

We had a Late night Sweet Tooth! !! I had no idea this was 3 minutes away from my house and it stays open late!! It was Perf and get the Dozen it's worth it! EXCEEDED MY EXPECTATIONS! this is a hidden local spot that I passed by a couple times..didn't think much of it but finally decided to give it a try. WOW!! sooo much better than many large chains. PLEASE SUPPORT your local businesses!! I think it was the owner where I paid for 6 and HE GAVE ME 9!!!!! He even gave us a free chocolate/honey milk and threw in a flavor I didn't see on the menu!! These were a perfect nighttime dessert treat for my son and his friends during a video game meetup at our house--warm and fresh out of the oven. I liked being able to get 4 different types so each kid got to pick a flavor. We've been getting Cookie Zombie back to the days when they were sold at a small store in El Segundo. I found this new location by pure chance while biking by, and was happy to see that they have a storefront now. The owners have always had a good sense of style/whimsy--the whole zombie vibe has always delighted our kids, and the new store has these neat old Western flickering lanterns out front; it's fun to visit at night. Also check out the calligraphy of my name on the box! Very clever/fun. The cookie size is perfect to me. We've tried doing the jumbo cookies like Levain in Larchmont Village, Crumbl in Hawthorne, and Lazy Acres Hermosa/Bristol Farms Manhattan (LA & BF are really the same store, I found out!), but those big thick cakey cookies are just too much. You feel obligated to eat the whole thing and feel sick afterward. This size seems to strike a better balance. I'm happy to see Cookie Zombie still around and with their own storefront now, and with the late night hours. We've done Insomnia Cookies in Westwood too for late-night (yeah we're kinda cookie obsessed--at least my son is--or I like to pretend he's the culprit and not me!), but Westwood is pretty sketchy and empty at night, so it feels a bit unsafe at 10pm (who would've thought? Back in the 80s Westwood was packed on a Friday night). This area of North Redondo feels much safer on a Friday night at 10pm. It's the best nighttime dessert in the South Bay. read more

This little cookie shop is a small business worth supporting. I was a bit skeptical at first due to their unusual hours, but it's a great late night snack place. Tried these out on Sunday, ordered for pick up and got a text they were ready as I parked. The cookies were ALL hot/warm which shocked me, the OMFG literally made me say OMFG (crumbl who?!?). The pb& darth was my favorite though - looking to try the cookies and cream next time. Also got the strawberry milk, which reminded me of my childhood!! Overall 10/10 will be coming here again and probably soon now that my sugar fast from Lent is over lol it's so hard to find a real cookie spot, so thank you guys & keep up the amazingness!!!!!! read more

Greeted with great service. All cookies take approx. 12 minutes to bake - fresh out of the oven. My order: chocolate chip, uncle buck, chocolate trio, cookies & cream. Walnuts and chocolate chips are my go-tos so I had to get the Uncle Buck. It did not disappoint! Unarguably, the Cookies & Cream was the best of the bunch and probably one of the best cookies in Los Angeles. Unfortunately, I can not recommend the other two flavors for the price but still a positive experience! Will be back to try their other flavors. 4.5/5 read more

I guess it's unfair that I'm giving them 1 star when I actually didn't order anything. I walked in there a few Saturdays ago and there was no one in there. They were opened but there was no one in sight. I waited more than 5 minutes and no one came out. While I waited I looked at the menu on the wall and I couldn't believe how expensive they are. The cookies on display were tiny and ordinary looking. I assumed that for the price and the name of the place the cookies would be decorated like monsters but they weren't. read more

Sweet worker behind the counter and yummy cookies served warm. We had the triple chocolate and rainbow sprinkle. We thought it was a walk up bakery but it was a "pick-up" location inside a liquor store in El Segundo. We ordered $18 for a custom selected dozen (you get 4 flavors) and waited 20 minutes for them to deliver warm fresh buttery cookies. OMG sooo good! *** Update *** Cookie Zombie has been very responsive and very apologetic and are doing their best to remedy the situation. They say that there was a tech issue on their side that prevented them from receiving my friend's text. It's still a bit odd that they never followed up, and they definitely need to work out their tech issues, but they are going above and beyond in their attempt to fix it (delivering it to her home, which is outside of their normal delivery range, and doubling the order). They were very responsive and had great communication with me once they learned of the whole situation, and made sure to get my friend's cookies to her according to her schedule. I appreciate that it was an honest mistake and that they did everything that they could to remedy it. That, and she said the cookies were great! *** Original Review *** (2 stars) I was super excited to surprise my friend by sending cookies to her office on her birthday as a surprise.. but had to ruin the surprise since Cookie Zombie called and texted not just me but also her before delivering... and then never delivered! She replied via text that she would be there all day... then sat in the office waiting for cookies that never came :( read more

Cookie Zombie has delicious cookies, and I love that their whole business concept revolves around late-night delivery or pick-up...it's rare to find freshly baked cookies in LA past 8 or 9 pm! You can call in or order online. Minimum order is a dozen, but you can choose up to 4 different flavors! I've only ever opted for the pick-up option at the liquor store in El Segundo (as they only deliver to a select number of zip codes), which is great if you want to pick up other goodies (milk, etc.). The cookie options seem to rotate with a number of staples that are always on the menu, and seasonal offerings as well - my favorite flavors have been their classic chocolate chip, and any of their oatmeal cookies. They're in business Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights! read more

I'm not sure if I can count this as a fair review since I personally haven't ordered from them personally. I was luckily and able to try their delicious treats when it was brought to work as a thank you. They have a home baked look meaning they don't look perfectly round or all the same size. They are soft baked cookies. Their chocolate chip cookies and Reese's pieces ones were really good. I like their delivery concept and from what I remember they are open late so if get those late night munchies for some sweets this is perfect. read more

Order over the phone, pick up at the liquor store. If you order a dozen and pay cash its $13 if you pay with a credit card it's $16. Carry around some cash for your own good and so you seem like a baller. I ordered three different types of cookies... cookies and cream, white chocolate macadamia nut, Fruity Pebbles. Best ones by far were the cookies and cream next time all 12 cookies are going to be cookies and cream. Order now they take about 15 to 20 minutes or have them delivered if you live in the South Bay. The lady over the phone was super nice and informative, she must be the owner. Enjoy the cookies and try to share... I ate almost all of them...10 to be exact within 24 hours... Nextday on scale: Gained 2 lbs... All muscle of course!! read more

WARNING.... BEWARE!!!! I ordered cookies from Cookie Zombie. What a HORRIBLE nightmare. 1) (part my fault) I ordered for a Saturday delivery between 4pm and 5:30. The cookies were for a party my 7 yr old was having. Cookie Zombies website allowed for the time of delivery I chose so I really didn't think anything of it. When it became 5:45pm and nothing was delivered, I emailed them and called. Finally at 7:30 I got a call back saying they did not start deliveries until 8 and I should have read their website but my order would be the first out. Okay.... I can take that as my mistake as well as their sites issue. BUT......... 2) When the cookies were finally delivered at 8:30pm The kids ran up took the box and started eating. (total kid behavior-hey it's cookies!!) Well on the inside of the box it read " Abra, sold out hope you like strawberries and cream" Why wouldn't you call me and ask me for a different flavor? Why wouldn't the delivery person say something? Why wouldn't you write it on the top of the box? UMMMM.... stop kids don't eat the cookies! I ordered cookies based on the kids that were at my house and their allergies. One kid was allergic to strawberries- that's why I didn't order them!! I feel horrible writing this but I'm hoping Natasha will see this and it'll help them out. I just picked up some cookies from Cookie Zombie and I immediately broke one of the cookies in half and it was completely raw. I recently had a kidney transplant so I'm not allowed to have anything that isn't completely cooked. I'm super bummed because I broke all the cookies in half and only one was cooked enough for my friend to eat but not me. Currently cooking them in the oven because these cookies are amazing and I can't give you guys one star because they're so good. What an adorable concept! Cookie Zombie provides late-night delivery for freshly baked cookies. The ever-changing menu includes classic, original, and seasonal recipes. Of the non-traditional flavors, I've loved Strawberries & Cream, Birthday Cake, and Red Velvet the most. I'm dying to try the Oatmeal Sunrise, an oatmeal cookie with dried cranberries and apricot pieces. As someone who bakes frequently myself, I'm critical of the quality of baked goods and have loved every type of cookie that I've tried from here. It's super simple to order online or over the phone. You may choose up to 4 flavors per dozen cookies ordered - they arrive in a cardboard pizza box. And then she said it would be another $7, I was in a hurry, so didn't really put too much thoughts into it, and just charge it. So now I look at my charges, so it turns out the same serving, one is at $7.35 and the other is $7. When I get the ice cream, I asked her, so there nothing that is smaller than this. She said there is, but not in a waffle cone, it will be extra with a waffle cone. So I asked $2.50 in a regular cone and additional $3.50 for the waffle cone? She said yes!! I am still confused as to whether they have a smaller serving than small and how much it is. I check on the pricing people posted here and don't see a $2.50/$3.50 smaller size showing. It remains a mystery to me, and I really wanted to know as it will be a hot summer, both my elderly parents, who are diabetic, would probably asked for ice cream, and I really don't want them to have a small each on their own, since it is still a decent size and they don't like the same flavor, so they can't really share a small one.

They are friendly, attentive, and thorough when working with their customers. The inside of the building is beautiful. There is a cute little gift shop, art hung on the walls, and nice warm lighting. I ordered the chicken panini and it's had both a robust crunch and multiple cheese pulls when I bit into it. If I lived closer I would definitely return to try everything from the menu. 5/5 would recommend!

My last review was in August of 2014, I then have ordered from Cookie Zombie at least 15 times. Every time I order, the cookies are fresh, hot and taste delicious. I usually order a dozen, then go to the Holly Main Liquor store and pick it up from there, I would have it delivered if possible, but unfortunately I'm out of there delivery range. When you buy a dozen you can choose any 4 flavors, I always get the OMFG, Sweet PB, Cookies n Creme & Funfetti. The OMFG: A chocolate chip cookie with extra chocolate chips and the Best tasting cookie I've ever had in my life. Period. The Sweet PB: A Peanut Butter cookie with reese's pieces, if you like peanut butter and a cookie that's soft in the middle, with crunchy reese's pieces at times definitely get this one! The Cookies n Creme: Basically a cookie for all the Oreo lovers, Crushed Oreo pieces and white chocolate chips. The Funfetti: This cookie is pretty unique, it's sort of like a fruity cookie because it's got fruity pebbles in it. It's pretty good. Unfortunately, they don't put the OMFG cookie on the menu often, Hopefully one day it becomes a regular! The only downside to CZ is there delivery range, If they could extend there delivery range i'm sure they could increase there business and make a lot of customers feel the joy of having a cookie from CZ. Other than that, Cookie Zombie is perfect and the only place i'll be buying cookies from. read more

El Segundo pick-up is at Holly Mini Liquor store. Walk up to cashier and give them your order's name. Delici fresh-baked cookies within 15-20mins. A delivery guy will come in with your fresh box of goodies. Impressively, quick service. Feels like an Alien Delivery operation- bc the Oreo cookies are out of this World! I'd highly recommend: 1- Oreo 2- FunFetti 3- Oatmeal Apple 4- Whatever, it will be good 12 cookies for about $15 Delivery is quick too. I prefer picking them up and grabbing some milk from the liquor store and slay them while hot in the car Lol. read more

I stopped by Cookie Zombie and had such a good experience! The cashier was super friendly, and when I opened my box I was surprised with extra cookies. The cookies are baked to order, so they came out fresh from the oven and tasted amazing. I got the oatmeal raisin and the sweet PB , both were soft, warm, and so yummy. Best cookies ever. Hot and moist every time. My favorite is the funfetti because who doesn't love fruity pebbles. I also recommend the mint chocolate chip with the dirty mint ice cream. They deliver super late on weekends which makes the perfect midnight snack. read more

Besides, I know how expensive commercial space and labor are. On this visit I sampled sweet and savory offerings (sourdough, gluten free bread, cinnamon roll and bun and a chocolate croissant) First let me say that everything is handmade and being organic means that there is nothing in the mix that shouldn't be there, but most importantly everything was delish. I am not a sweet fiend, I am more of a savory guy and I was more than happy with everything that I sampled. The breads contained no added sugars and the pastries were lite on sugar and glaze. The flavors were honest and pure. My favorite of the bunch was the chocolate croissant. It was flakey, buttery and filled with the most delightful dark chocolate morsels; not too sweet, not too bitter just pure goodness. It paired well with my coffee, but should pair equally well with a glass of milk. Heck, all this talk has got me hungry for another one!!! Lastly, I respect and appreciate a company that stands behind their product (no compromise). Again, everything is certified organic and the dough is slow fermented (30 hours). This process enhances flavor, texture, digestibility for the gluten sensitive, better bioavailability of nutrients and enhances shelf life without adding preservatives. Finally, the young lady at the counter was super pleasant, knowledgeable and caring. I managed retail for nearly 20 years and I know good customer service when I see it and you will find none better than at Frogs. I will certainly be back to sample the rest of the menu.
