So delicious, Cool Tea Bar is definitely one of my favorite drink spots. This time I got their jasmine milk tea with grass jelly which was so light and refreshing. Their milk teas and fruit teas are both amazing and I'll definitely be returning. Their prices are still reasonable and upgrading to a large is definitely a steal given the huge portion. Service is great and they're quick to make drinks.

We popped into this little tea spot for a post Halloween sweet treat after being out and about all day. I was curious as to what a croffle was after seeing their advertisement on the window. They were several unique flavors on the menu, along with a huge variety of teas. We decided on the matcha croffle. So delicious! It's exactly as you would imagine a cross between a waffle and a crossiant would be. Crispy on the outside, flaky, soft and warm on the inside. Topped off with a fluffy cloud of cream and red bean, it was a scrumptious combination. We also tried a couple of their milk teas, the lychee flavor and the matcha, very good, perfectly sweet and the boba was chewy and soft. The regular size held a good quantity of tea, if I was thirstier I could see myself upgrading to a large. It's a small little shop, best for pickup but there are one or two tables if you're in need of a quick croffle fix. Service was very friendly and quick. Overall, this is a hidden gem I'm happy we found and I'll definitely be back!

the owner (nghi/nhi?) was so so sweet, polite, & friendly!! she told me that she also has other locations in fremont, sf, & other cities as well! definitely go check them out and support them!! this loc also has very yummy croffles :3 i've been going here since i was a kid so it was rly nice to meet the genius behind this establishment for the first time :D

    Flooded hallway to bathroom. Smells!

HEALTH HAZARD! I recently stopped by Cool Tea Bar to grab a boba after eating at Pho 21. After ordering, I asked to use the restroom and when I went back there, the hallway and bathroom itself were flooded. They didn't seem too bothered by it so that was enough for me to cancel my order and leave. If they let the bathroom get to that state, it makes me concerned about the cleanliness of their kitchen and equipment. Plus, where do the employees go to the bathroom and wash their hands? There's plenty of other boba places in the area. Save yourself a trip to the toilet and skip this place.

Good service food and nice workers And very good ambiance small business but good food and drinks

yummy drinks. the large size is humongous!!! for the price totally worth it. boba pearls were soft and flavor of drinks were good. a bit sweeter but that is on me for getting 70. honestly really good spot and will want to try their croffles next time. service was really nice too

The banana croffle was amazing, crispy on the outside, soft inside, with just the right amount of sweetness from the banana. So good! The drinks were super refreshing too, perfectly balanced and not overly sweet and perfect for a hot summmer. Great little spot for a treat and chill vibes. Will definitely be back!

Returning to cool tea bar was so nostalgic for me since I used to frequently purchase it from club fundraisers. I always opt for the roasted milk tea here or the mango green tea. The large here is also pretty big. The drinks tasted exactly like how I remembered it back in high school. I was disappointed that they were out of cool balls but the boba itself was really fresh and chewy. There is plenty of parking in this plaza and the drinks come out pretty fast. Overall, I will definitely be coming back when I'm in the area!

This review is loooong overdue! We booked Cool Tea Bar for our wedding in 2022 and it was one of the best decisions. Colin helped me set up everything for the catering event and he brought a buddy on the day of the wedding to help us. I couldn't believe how polite and professional Colin was and he was just in high school at the time. We wanted to use our own boba cups but completely forgot to bring them to Fremont where our venue was, Colin and his buddy offered to drive all the way back to San Jose to get us their cups. They even stayed past their time to help us with the long lines because everyone wanted boba. They didn't even charge us extra. The whole day was a blur and by the end of the night, I was disappointed I couldn't catch Colin and his friend anywhere to personally thank and tip them for being there. Post-wedding, I came back to CTB to look for Colin but was told he left for college. Colin, if you ever read this review, we appreciate you!! I highly recommend CTB for your next event. Their drinks are good and refreshing plus they offered the best pricing when I was shopping around. Our guests loved them!

Its been a while but it was the weekend so I ordered red bean milk tea. Service was fast and efficient. They have tea bags on sale for $12 on the right hand side. There was music playing on background.

Service was fast and easy! We ordered matcha, kumquat green tea, and Thai tea all were delicious. Definitely recommend for a quick, tasty stop.

It has been years since I last visited Cool Tea Bar, but it was just as I remembered it from the high school fundraisers we used to host with them. The prices are still very affordable - only $5 for a regular size (it is HUGE) which would cost much more elsewhere nowadays. I ordered the mango, lychee, and passionfruit green tea, and out of the three, I personally enjoyed the passionfruit the most. While the flavors weren't anything too crazy or unique (tasted more like juice than traditional tea), they were still refreshing and enjoyable to drink. Also, the boba was too soft for my liking, I personally prefer a firmer texture.

Came here w my friends on Monday. Bought the large roasted mt. It lacks flavor and I didn't get to finish it. Was a bit disappointed.

Everything feels clean and well kept, with Buddhist statues throughout the space, good vibes, and a bunch of cool collectibles you can actually buy, including Labubus and other Pop Mart-style items. Occasionally burnt espresso but I love them too much to mind. I am a matcha snob to say the LEAST. Hands down best coffee shop matcha in the Bay Area. The classic iced matcha latte with honey is grassy and earthy and creamy and a little sweet. The iced banana pudding matcha latte had people lined up around the corner for months when it came out. It is deliciously worth the wait. Best banana cold foam in my opinion because it's made with actual bananas instead of flavoring so it's much more mellow. The double matcha they had for awhile is also awesome. Banana cold foam also goes great on an espresso latte. Now they let you add whichever cold foam you like to whatever drink which is great. Basically you can't go wrong. They are always changing up the menu for the new season and have lots of unique drinks on their menu. Not much seating inside at this location. The winchester Blvd one has more if that's what you're looking for. Their pastries are also all yummy and they sell their matcha powder for $60 for 100g which is a GREAT price for a great matcha. I visited this coffee shop after seeing its 4-star rating and was excited to try a new place,…read moreespecially because I was looking for somewhere with spacious seating. Unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing, particularly when it came to customer service. When my party of three approached the counter, the woman in the black top with short hair, who appeared to be the owner or manager, finished taking the order of the customer ahead of us but did not acknowledge or greet us. I stood there waiting while my party and I looked toward her, but there was no acknowledgment or indication that someone would be with us shortly. Eventually, my mother had to ask another employee, who was working on the other side of the counter, for assistance with the pastries. That employee was the one who eventually assisted us and took our order. I asked whether we could choose a seat and have our order brought to us, and she nodded yes. I also left a tip when paying for our order. When our drinks and pastries were ready, the curt short hair black top woman called out loudly on our order at the pickup area. I found this a little odd given that I had specifically asked whether the order would be brought to our table, but I went ahead and picked everything up myself and brought it to our table. About 30 minutes later, I noticed that the same employee personally carried a drink and pastry to another customer who had arrived after us and was seated behind us. At that point, I was confused about why service seemed inconsistent. We had been told to pick up our own order, and we also had to clear/manage our own table, yet another customer who arrived later was being served at his table. I initially decided not to make an issue of it because I had seen other customers picking up their own orders as well. What bothered me most, however, was what happened with my elderly mother when she needed to use the restroom. She knocked twice but received no response, so she asked a staff member for the restroom key. She was told that someone might be inside. After waiting a couple of minutes, it turned out that the person inside was actually a staff member. My mother asked why the employee hadn't simply responded when she knocked, especially since she was waiting to get access to the restroom. The employee in the black top ignored her and walked away without responding. As a customer, I found the overall interaction to be extremely unfriendly and lacking in basic hospitality. I also couldn't help but notice that my party was the only Chinese/Vietnamese group in the coffee shop at the time. I cannot say what anyone's intentions were, but the inconsistent treatment left me uncomfortable and made me question whether we were being treated differently. A business in the hospitality industry should make all customers feel welcome, regardless of their background or ethnicity. Unfortunately, from the moment we arrived until we left, the customer service was close to nonexistent and there was very little friendliness or acknowledgment toward us. The space itself is spacious and looks nice at first glance, but the interior is not particularly well maintained if you look closely. I'm honestly unclear how this place has a 4-star rating based on my experience. The poor customer service and lack of basic courtesy left a bad taste in my mouth. I came here intending to support a new local business, but based on this experience, I would not recommend this coffee shop and do not plan to return. If you're going to operate a business in hospitality, customer service should be one of the fundamentals. A little acknowledgment, courtesy, and consistency would have made a significant difference.
