Adorable scenic brunch by the river! Food is well stocked and good. Mimosas are delish. Lovely little place to eat at buffet with friends on a Sunday!

Beer took forever to get. Drink is so sweet its nauseating

Service was so slow we almost left twice. Food exceedingly average. One and done for us.

Big open space with multiple rooms for different scenes. Nice waterfront atmosphere for summer. Can't quite get ahold of the clientele most prevalent here--it's truly a mixed bag. Usually have a live band with classic rock in the main room. NYE party was very nicely run with a ball drop on the dance floor and champagne toast. Buffet had bountiful options, but very average in quality. For St. Paddy's, the vibe was off. Not overly festive in green/style of music being played (would have been nice to include some Celtic tunes). Specials menu was nice, but the Reuben was very lacking in corned beef. Still tasty. Lamb chops were a steal price wise at $24, but only came with 2 thickly cut. Was still hungry afterwards. They were cooked to perfection however and mighty juicy. This place may provide a decent time out, but nothing so memorable.

The meal for our lunch today.

What an embarrassing place. I still can't believe what I ate today. First the bread was straight out of refrigerator. The food was literally dumped in the plate, the fried chicken was definitely from the previous day. Veggies boiled, and pasta mixed with tomato sauce. Absolutely 0 effort in taste, presentation and quality. I am not going to g back ever again.

Most of the buffet. The carving station is to the near right of this shot, with the omelette station in the middle right.

We went there for the Sunday buffet brunch. The price/value for the money is amazing, and it's a very pretty space, along with live music. My wife and I both liked the made to order omelettes, as well as the prime rib at the carving station. Probably would be busier if it weren't located in Trenton, but we felt 100% safe there, and because it's so close to our house and the price is so reasonable, I'm sure we'll be coming back.

The hubby and I had plans elsewhere for Easter Brunch but with limited time since we had to pick up our son (last minute) from the train station, we decided to go close by to Coopers Riverview. I'll start off by stating that it was a holiday (Easter) and figured it would be a wait. I approached the hostess and she was so gracious to take a party of two. Typically, you would get a quick "NO" with most restaurants when you don't have reservations. We were seated in the room to the left of the restaurant which is where they have private events. The room is open with a stage and a bar. It so happens today they had Latin performers playing the guitar...great vibe. Now for their buffet. I've had better. The menu was limited. They had a continental breakfast which cost just as much as an entrée from the menu. The drinks were great and was able to get full (which is important). I've been here a few times on the other side for dinner. Their seafood buckets - crab legs, shrimp and mussels are good and the cocktails are awesome. Next time we'll stick with dinner and drinks.

It had been more than a year since my last visit to Marty's Place. Time flies!…read more I was driving by this morning after court, having skipped breakfast at home in order to get a jump on traffic going into the city. I saw a new sign out front on a Bud Light white board that breakfast was now being served 7 days a week! Hot diggity! I parked out back and walked in to a mostly empty bar (2 customers who looked like they were regulars). The bartender approached and we engaged about their breakfast menu. It was pretty wide open if my desires had anything to do with eggs. They did. I opted for a sausage, egg and cheese on Kaiser roll, and mug of java. While it was being created in the kitchen I watched a show about exotic car auctions. A Borgati opening at a cool million bucks was an eye opener. Another black transport used by John Lennon around London was also put up and sold. Pretty cool entertainment. The sandwich was great! Double patty, fried egg, American cheese and a fresh, quality roll, made for a tasty and fun meal. The side of homefries was likewise excellent - hot, crisp and spicy with sautéed onions in the mix. Coffee, strong and kicking. The only shortcomings were the lack of a joe refill offering, and lack of utensils. Luckily, I had a spoon from the coffee, which was fine as a shovel. Afterall, Marty's is still a wonderful corner dive. It was made for comfort, not for speed, nor etiquette.

So my husband and I split a BFO and check this out-u get to pick as many meats and vegetables in yr omelet that u want! For the same price of $ 11 00! Comes w 6 pieces of yr choose of cheese! He brings out 2 plates and its Allready split for us! And we Both got an order of toast! The omelette was delicious I just Didn't care for the tiny cubed potatoes bcz they were too well done like deep fried! Afterwards he bought us tiny little samples of homemade poundcake like pineapple upside down cake, caramel, and even a strawberry cheesecake flavor! Bill Really impressed me with his sharing of how he makes his stuffed cabbage since I'm Hungarian and told him how I make mine! I've been in the restaurant business for 40 years ( Retired on my bday 3/13/20 at the start of Covid ) but I have NEVER tipped a cook until today! Charles and I Can't wait to go back and have Bill make Us lunch!

All of the appetizers were great, and can be spilt with friends: -Quesadillas -Calamari -Nachos -Plantain w| Cheese The plantain with melted cheese was such a treat, glad we tried it. If you're looking for the perfect savory, sweet, and non-sweet balanced combination of flavor this is the one! The nachos were tasty, just your traditional melted cheese, ground beef, salsa, sour cream, and guac. The quesadilla's were soft and grilled well (not hard or over cooked). The calamari is not the original smaller squid like pieces with tentacles still attached, it's more so chopped into rings and served with a red sauce. Not sure if they have garlic aioli mayo or not, ask your server. The inside is a vibe, with one side being a full restaurant, and the other side being a smaller room with a full bar, tables, and DJ Booth set up. It's a great place to meet up for dinner with friends! There's music playing inside but not so loud that you can't have a conversation which is great. There is a free parking lot in the back of the building. The menu's are on ipad's which we loved! Enjoy!!
