I love this place. I've been coming here for about 4+ years while on my break at Broward County Transit, always satisfied with the food and atmosphere. It's very inexpensive, quick breakfast, and everyone knows your name, Heidi. Peace and Bliss To the owners Cindy, Gladys, and Mary Ann.

Surprisingly good food! I have been here a few times for lunch. I have a friend who prefers this spot as its between my office and hers. It doesn't look like much from the outside. Just your average little joint in a strip mall next to a gas station. To be fair, when you walk in, it doesn't seem like much either. An attempt at some decor was made years ago but not anything that would wow ya. The menu is cafe like with the sandwiches and salads. They have a few specials too. first time I was here, Buffalo Chicken Salad. I was trying to be healthy, but have an interesting salad. I gotta say, it was really good. just the other day we met up again and I was looking for something different. Right on the menu was a sandwich I never noticed before. The Spicy Leroy. Again, a healthy option as far as the grilled chicken (should have subbed out the fries though). The sandwich was original and, well spicy! It had a wicked kick to it but wasn't too hot. And those fries I shoulda skipped were some really good Texas style fries too. crisp but tasty potato in the middle. I should add, service is excellent here. Someone is at your table as you sit down to bring you waters. And one of the times that we got something that didn't seem right, they immediately replaced it. What more could ask for a nice hole in the wall cafe.

    Breakfast Speacial today.

This mornings Breakfast Special was amazing. $7.69, can't beat it with a stick. As always the service was pleasant and speedy. Food was fresh and hot. Price was less than you might spend at McDonald's. Tucked away in a small corner of the plaza it's worth the stop. In 4 years I've never had a bad experience.

I took a bite of my sandwich & the taste was off. When i opened it, this is what the salami looked like. Who in their right mind would think this was edible?! It even smells rancid!

The food was ok but nothing exciting, but it was a great value for the price. I had the turkey club sandwich which was good but needed more flavor. The fries needed more time in the fryer because they were a little soft. The staff was nice and friendly. The decor in the cafe is very dated and dark and their hours are limited. This is a good place for a quick cheap lunch. I'll probably return later to try another meal.

Yes you need to pay but it's much less than LBTS and many other restaurant locations! There is both inside and outside seating most of the outside seating is under cover from the elements. My first time here and I chose an outdoor high top ( not under cover). It was partly cloudy and I was certain no rain on the way. I was wrong and just as I took one bite of my eggplant meatballs- pouring rain! Two of the servers- John was one and I don't know the other young man's name - they came so quickly and picked up all my things to minimize us getting wet! They were like Superheroes! I appreciated their quick response. Also assuring they were making a fresh appetizer for me. I moved to the outside bar ( completely under cover) and Todd took great care of me! I'm a fan for life! Great customer care and incredibly professional! Now to the absolutely delicious food!!! The happy hour is fabulous with great options! The main menu has something for everyone! I chose to order off the main menu. I ordered the Eggplant Meatballs.. wow!!!! Please refer to my pictures.. a very large portion of 5 meatballs! Unbelievably delicious! So much flavor and easily shareable! I did see a few of their flatbreads and burgers and they are my new choice! Both looked delicious!! My family owned restaurants in Manhattan and I am culinary trained/a former Director of Catering and Sales for Ritz-Carlton .. I can easily say Their attention to detail, customer care and the quality of their food is outstanding! I am in the process of moving back to Ft Lauderdale from Palm Beach and I can't wait to add The Foundry to my dining rotation! Thank you for exceeding my expectations!

Despite it being super dead, our server (who my mom pointed out has worked here for forever) was acting like he had 50 tables. It took forever to get him to come over and order anything from him, he was a mess. Other than the terrible service, the food was pretty good. Nothing to run home about but it wasn't bad. Everything was hot and came out relatively quickly and was made correctly. There was some sand in my clams, but I feel like that happens often when eating shellfish so I won't hold it against them. The seats are also super comfy and I like how they have 2 bars and both indoor and outdoor seating.

** Classic Vacation Spot! Great Drinks & Killer Blackened Chicken**…read more First official lunch stop of our Florida trip is in the books, and **Legends** absolutely delivered! We managed to slide in just in time for happy hour, so the wife kicked things off right with a great cocktail. To keep the kids happy while we looked over the menu, we started with the mozzarella sticks and corn dog poppers. Both were total crowd-pleasers--crispy, melty, and didn't last long on the table. For the mains, the family spread was a massive success. The kids went with the classics: a juicy cheeseburger with golden fries, and crispy chicken tenders with perfectly fried tater tots. Both got total nods of approval. The wife and I went the salad route, ordering the Cobb salad and the Caesar salad, both topped with blackened chicken. Let me tell you, that blackened seasoning is the real deal here! It gave both salads a smoky, savory punch that elevated the whole meal. At the end of the day, Legends serves up **classic bar food done absolutely right**. The vibe is fun, the food is unpretentious and delicious, and the service was on point. It's a fantastic, reliable spot that I'd highly recommend to anyone in the area. We will definitely be back on future visits!

You can really tell it's made with quality ingredients, making it one of the best margaritas I've had in a while. The salmon appetizer was equally impressive. Great food, excellent drinks, and a relaxed waterfront atmosphere make this a place worth coming back to. Highly recommend stopping in, especially for the margaritas.

Very disappointing experience…read more We arrived for lunch with a group of 8 people and, from the moment we walked in, the hostess made us feel like she was doing us a favor by seating us. She repeatedly told us she was "making an exception" for our party. Then she lectured us about having to sit at two separate tables with two separate checks. What really crossed the line was when she said, "If I see you passing food between tables, we'll stop serving you." That comment was unnecessary, disrespectful, and completely inappropriate. We were paying customers, not asking for free food or special treatment. There's a time and place to explain restaurant policies, but the way they were communicated made us feel unwelcome before we had even ordered. Hospitality is about making guests feel valued, and unfortunately, that was completely missing here. We chose to leave rather than spend our money somewhere we clearly didn't feel wanted. There are plenty of restaurants that appreciate their customers, and we'll be supporting those instead.

So we went at 7pm on a Wednesday. What's playing on TV was not available, was told to use QR code, so easy peasy. So the counter staff was pleasantly, we ordered: rabbit hole salad and the patty melt to go. Maybe should be eaten there, right away. Didn't stand up to a quick ride home. BOTH meals looked sad and not worth $50, as was $20 each, gave $3 tip for to go. Probably won't return! It's probably great for vegans who don't require quality or taste, just gut it out to remain vegan. Salad had no flavor really, it was " overdressed", just kale dressed in an underwhelming sauce. Tons of it where it was soggy. Chips of fake chicken I guess, that was flavorless. Partners patty melt was just so so. I'm sad! You ever wanted to really like something, so you force it. We love going to local spots to support folks but we demand excellence. I wasn't expecting Coopers HAWK, but wanted some flavor. It's like not even as good as Whole Foods, which is pricey like this but good. Patty melt was average, and not worth $20. The onions saved it, but too expensive for us. Fries were limp, not well made. Now I will say, we do go to dives, so we didn't need Sonness (by the way Sonness is beyond fab!). So, we can do " dive vegan" but we cant do expensive average. It survives because often the beach crowds are too tipsy or high to care, or average is OK due to being snowbirds. Im sure these reviews aren't fake, so will chop this up to a bad night for the cooks! Stop by if you are vegan, committed to this lifestyle, then its good enough. We are in good shape medically, have more allegiance to our wallet than a movement. My partner makes great, fresh salads, so I can stay home for below average greens. But if you are committed and need to just get out, try it. I think a vegan frozen meal, Amy's is better. The salad wasn't horrible, just not worth the price. $20 for soggy, no flavor. Nope! I need flavor, price, freshness mix. Also they could do better with the ambiance. When you walk up, it seemed sad. It was empty, but zero personality. They need some music, it was quiet, somewhat moodless! Even dives have a little music. Rabbits have music LOL! Wish them luck! They have been around a while, so maybe they had better days! Why show stuff on TV that's not offered, pretty photos but disappointing for us. Good news, they are surrounded by great things, Italian to the right, Max to the left, pizza to the left. And Foundry at the end of other side! Partner ate half burger, trashed it. I ate 1/4 salad, trash. $50 in the garbage. I gotta laugh as we sat in our couch, we walked in and after 10 min, the energy felt off to me. We read the menu first. I said to my mate, "let's go elsewhere" after staff said, don't have this or that. My mate said, lets see. I went along. Intuition is never wrong! Trust yout gut, give it a try! Maybe tonight was just an off night! Go try it! Maybe it will be better for you! Im sure those reviews are real but maybe that real cook was off, amd we ended up with the no talent crew!

We chose to sit inside because of the heat, although the outdoor seating area looked beautiful as well. When we arrived, the restaurant was still pretty quiet, and we were seated right away. For brunch, they offer either a $49 brunch package with a wide variety of items or an à la carte menu. Our server let us know that everyone at the table has to choose the same brunch option, so we all went with à la carte. I ordered the sweet potato waffles, and they were absolutely delicious! One of my friends had the poached eggs with fried green tomatoes, and my other two friends ordered the egg sandwiches with hash browns. Everyone really enjoyed their meals. The service was excellent. Our waitress was attentive, friendly, and checked on us throughout our meal. The décor is beautiful, with dark green tones that create a stylish, inviting atmosphere. The only thing that felt a little unusual was someone coming around taking photos of diners and then offering them for purchase, but we simply declined. By around noon, the restaurant had become much busier, which speaks to its popularity. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely come back for brunch again!

The restaurant is located in Pompano Beach with both street parking and several nearby parking lots, which made parking fairly easy. That said, the surrounding area felt a little sketchy, and as a woman, I personally wouldn't feel comfortable walking around alone at night. The restaurant itself is cute, casual, and inviting, with both indoor and outdoor seating. The event was held outside, where DJs kept the crowd entertained with a great mix of hip-hop, R&B, and old-school classics. The music was definitely one of the highlights of the night. Because the humidity was unbearable, even after the sun went down, I chose to sit inside for dinner before heading out to enjoy the event. Unfortunately, the service wasn't great. I understand they were likely busier than usual because of the event, but our waiter wasn't very attentive. He told us to flag him down if we needed anything, which isn't exactly what you expect when dining out. Our drinks took about 20 minutes to arrive, and although we were told the bar was backed up, they ended up tasting mostly like juice with very little alcohol. For appetizers, we ordered the crab beignets. They were just okay, but the mustard dipping sauce was actually really delicious and probably my favorite part of the dish. My friend ordered the fried chicken sandwich, and I had the shrimp Caesar salad. The salad came with much more dressing than I prefer, making it a bit overwhelming. My friend thought her sandwich was decent, but unfortunately it didn't sit well with her stomach the following day. After dinner, we headed outside to enjoy the party. The outdoor deck is built around a beautiful tree and offers plenty of seating, along with a separate outdoor bar, which created a fun atmosphere. One thing that stood out, though, was how slippery the deck was. At first I thought it might have been my shoes, but after hearing several other people mention the same thing, it seemed like I wasn't the only one who noticed. Overall, the entertainment and outdoor atmosphere were enjoyable, but I wouldn't return for dinner. The menu is fairly limited, and with fewer options, I expected each dish to really stand out. Unfortunately, the food and service just didn't live up to those expectations. If you're looking for good music and a fun Saturday night vibe, the event is worth checking out, but I wouldn't go for the dining experience alone.
