had reservations, as a busy friday night during the Holiday season. The server never introduced herself or told us her name. The salad was not fresh, a few pieces of torn lettuce, 2 tiny grape tomatoes and a hunk of cucumber. The bread is not bread, it is a 6 inch plain dough pizza round, so don't order pizza, because you get it in the "bread". A small side of spaghetti came with my meal and it was cold. I asked the server with no name to please rewarm it.....i NEVER saw that side again. After our meals were delivered, we NEVER saw our no name server again! No asking how our meal was, if we needed anything, or if our food was OK, and again, i never got my side of pasta returned. The water glass is way too small, and they don't refill frequently enough. THe food was "OK" but service horrific. Will not return,,,,,,poor managerial staff as well. Gets smart coratti"s or get lost! read more

My girlfriend and I decided to try this restaurant, as I had heard so many good things. We went on the Friday night of Milford Memories, but surprisingly they were not busy and got us right in. We were sat at a table upstairs by the window. The first thing I noticed were the filthy carpets that clearly were the same as the restaurant that occupied this space more than 20 years ago. The second thing that caught my eye were the thick, vinyl, burgundy 70's style table covers on the tables. Our waitress came and had absolutely no personality whatsoever. We ordered Sangrias (which tasted like peach schnapps and wine - nothing special) and the fried artichoke hearts with a creamy lemon herb sauce for an appetizer. Our waitress "plopped" down the appetizer and left. The fried hearts were just as they were (fried hearts), but the sauce was a runny mess that didn't even stick to the hearts, leaving this appetizer less than desirable. I had hopes for our entries - my friend ordered eggplant parm and I ordered pollo piccata (aka: chicken piccata). The egglplant parm was mostly breading, sauce and cheese. Little eggplant at all. The chicken piccata came with two chicken breasts, one of which I could barely cut with a knife, let alone my fork. I told the waitress that the one chicken breast did not look, feel, or taste (texture wise) right and she asked me what I would like done. I suggested they make a new one. She left and came back 20 minutes later with a new one. Not one manager in site. We will never be back. read more

Completely inspired by what they could buy from GFS. Then, the only thing the kitchen seemed capable of doing with a modicum of ability was deep fry some waffle fries. Keep in mind that this author lives and eats in Ann Arbor, where the competition is intense, and local butchers, bakers, farmers, and creameries provide the finest ingredients. read more

We had dinner last evening and I must say the VITELLO SALTIMBOCA was the most disgusting meal I have ever eaten in an Italian restaurant. Honestly, anything that could have went wrong did. The service and food were both bad. First we were never offered bread, we had to ask after our dinner came. Dinner here is several courses and our plates were not cleared at all. We had to ask for drink refills, all of us. My chicken piccata was dry and all I could taste was lemon the sauce really lacked. My another person ordered eggplant parm- it was so tough she could hardly cut through it. Someone else received crunch risotto. My husband ordered a steak and had to wait 10 min just to ask for a steak knife (I have been to dinner with my husbands family many times and this is the first time Ive ever seen them complain) it was just all around bad. read more

Hadn't been here in many years. I remember the food being very good. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed. The red sauce was very acidic and lacked any depth -- reminded me of bad pizza sauce. The artichokes in the appetizer were bland and mushy. Our server was unremarkable, and seemed distracted the entire time. My daughter had cheese ravioli that looked and tasted like a frozen store brand. Overall bad experience. read more

Great location in downtown Milford with outdoor streetside seating. Salads were tasty and pleasing but sadly meal went down with the entrees. My husband had the seafood soup and had to send it back. No noticeable seafood pieces or flavor of seafood. Creamy, peppery paste was his comments. Canneloni was microwaved to the point of scalding and dried out the pasta. A suggestion to be helpful... throw away the microwave, taste and correct food being served. Quality control daily. I would love to attend again in the hopes food has been improved. read more

Maybe my expectations were too high, but I thought the food was good but not excellent. Service was nice, yet my side dish came 5mins prior to my meal and was cold by the time the main dish arrived. The place was very cold inside, wife kept her jacket in through dinner and women next to us was warming her hands via the candle on the table. Will give it another shot. read more

Prices were respectable for a downtown Milford joint serving up good food in a psuedo-classy atmosphere. Waitress was attentive and food was delicious. A little ridiculous to expect grandma to walk up the flight of stairs, but the dining area upstairs is seemingly larger than downstairs. Plus watching a waiter drop an entire tray of food after missing the top step was kind of tragic. read more

We love Coratti's. Numerous excellent real Italian dishes and service is always great. Authentic pastas, sauces, meats, etc. It's just solid food and service every time. Have never been disappointed and our kids are always asking for it. Easily one of the better Italian restaurants in the metro area. Really enjoyable sidewalk seating in the summer too. read more

We had our wedding here last year, and it was the perfect location. The staff was helpful and the food was tasty and well received by our guests. We booked their room kinda last minute and it went off without a hitch. The small room upstairs was the perfect cozy setting for our intimate gathering of about 12 people. Love this place! read more

We had our wedding reception at Coratti's (in the lower level private room) and it was amazing! We are so thankful to Michele (owners) and servers for putting together a great altmosphere for our event! The pizza is fabulous! Really lovely restaurant! Wonderful food, atmosphere and service! I had the arugula salad, minestrone soup and asparagus pizza. All were very good and prices were very reasonable. Loved sitting in the upstairs with the skylights and our server was great. Liked the decorations, as well. Would love to visit here again next time I am in Milford. read more

The management at this restaurant is horrible. We had reservation for a large group for a very important occasion. They booked another group that took up entire restaurant and was LOUD and VERY packed. Not to mention such a rude crowd! Management didn't even have the courtesy or professionalism to call to let us know we would be shoved in the back behind curtains. The servers were accommodating, but too accommodating to be honest: coming in our room every 1 minute. Interrupting our conversations and serving food, walking away and back in a minute. They tried to apologize after they dropped the ball of messing up our reservation ... but both managers were not accommodating and rude! They didn't want to take any accountability. The food is overpriced for quality. Benches need to be CLEANED and dusted & bathrooms are gross. We frequent here OFTEN and will never come back to this unprofessional place. read more

I have tried and tried to keep an open mind with Coratti's because I really want to love it. The first time we were there the waitress was so very rude. We asked for ice in our water, she must have had a bad day. After she slammed the glasses back on the table, we each had three small cubes and still room temp water. The second time we were there my husband ordered the pasta with sausage, the sausage was so burnt he could not chew it. He spoke to the waiter who just said, yeah well sometimes that happens. The third time we went I ordered my pasta al dente, it came out crunchy and completely uncooked. I ordered al dente because the previous visit, the pasta fell off the fork because it was so mushy. The salad that might was also bad the lettuce was discolored and the appearance was not appetizing at all. We have not been back, it is possible we just hit bad nights as the place it popular but to me... I wont' be back. The wine list was sad, the pesto sauce had no flavor, the soup didn't have any flavor and the lasagna was a pass as well. I can say I did have a chicken parm sandwich at Milford Memories that was fairly good and the pizza was good again during Milford Memories. I would be willing to try it one more time if I had suggestions on what is good to order. read more

This place sucks. We ordered from there for the first time (and last) a couple of days ago, and the bill came out to $53 for my husband and I and the kids dish. I ordered chicken Parmesan, and I specifically asked for Alfredo pasta as opposed to spaghetti sauce. The person I spoke with, Matt from the bar, told me would be a dollar extra which I said was fine. When I got home there was no pasta at all with my meal, and instead some very under cooked and unseasoned green beans that were inedible. My husband ordered shrimp Alfredo, which came with four pieces of shrimp with no seasoning on them, and his Alfredo sauce was not authentic Alfredo sauce that anybody could make it home. And instead was made with oil or something and really disgusting. Our meal came with bread that seem like it was three days old, very hard and crusty. And my sons dish, which was a kids meal, had chicken tenders and fries that were so hard that there was no way he could eat them and they were over seasoned. We were theorizing that they just picked up the chicken from KFC that morning, it was seriously gross. read more

My husband and I tried this restaurant last night...we were very disappointed to say the least. First we chose to sit outside as it was a nice evening, the seating was fine but there were multiple people smoking standing beside us. They were coming out of the bar nextdoor....with the warm humid air, all we could taste and smell was cigarette smoke. The menus were paper and they were very dirty with pasta sauce and grease spots in them....red flag as to how clean the whole restaurant may be. Next, the food: This was the biggest diappointment of all....the side salad that came with our meals was not very good, the dressingc was basically just vinegar. Next came our main dishes. My husband got the Pasta Rustica which was actually ok, just a huge portion amd served way too hot to eat right away. I had ordered the Beef Tenderloin Medallions with mushrooms and gorgonzola, a special that night. I ordered it medium. What i recieved was drier than an over cooked porkchop! The seasoning on the meat (it was NOT beef tenderloin medallions by the way, more like a country fried steak in an elementary school cafeteria) was the saltiest i have ever had the displeasure to taste, this was also sprinkled over my mashed potatoes and brown spotted green beans. We did have a super waitress, she took my plate back right away, although she had way too many tables to tend too in order to be as good as she probably would have been. What she brought back was a bit better but still inedible....I ate a few bites and asked for a box...which I threw away as soon as I got home. The dessert, Creme Brulee, was not much better. Burnt on top and a chunky custard underneath. Needless to say, we will never be returning and wish we still had the $100 that we paid for a very poor meal and dining experience. read more
