This was my first experience at an Indian restaurant, so I have nothing to compare it to. I do know what good food taste like and this was pretty delicious! We stared with a vegetarian appetizer it came out quickly with a couple of different sauces (mint and cant remember maybe chili barbecue?) it was good. The entrees were the ginger chicken and chicken vindaloo. I really like spicy food so this was right up my alley. This a local restaurant in our area of town, and I would recommend everyone try it. Alright, so my in-laws live in the GVR and everyone in their neighborhood had been talking about this place. My wife and I being big time fans of Indian cuisine, along with cooking Indian food at home, decided we needed to get some takeout for this and try it with my in-laws to see what was up. I sampled each of: Chicken 65 Achiote Wings Chilli Paneer Gobi Manchurian Shrimp Masala Saag Paneer Butter Chicken Lamb Korma Garlic and Cheese Stuffed Naan I have had versions of most of these dishes in other venues in the past, and each of these items above stacked up to what I would expect at other Indian places, which was good. At the same time, while each was good, I don't know if anything stood out compared to the others. I pretty much enjoyed all of it equally, which is nice in that they are consistent but also the dilemma when reviewing it. Something that stood out was they forgot an item on our takeout order, and they delivered it to my in-laws house down the street as opposed to making me come back and get it. I appreciated that customer service. If I were going to nitpick, I really love Chicken 65, but like it when the chicken pieces are larger. They chopped the chicken into pieces that were as small as pieces I would chop to feed to my 1 year old toddler, no exaggeration. Here's the bottom line: if you are a resident of GVR, it might be the best restaurant in the area, and you should be supporting this place big time so you don't have to eat at all the wack ass chains in the area. If someone never had Indian food before, you are going to be blown away because Indian food is awesome and this place makes it well, you will notice other 5 star reviews will say things like "I don't typically eat Indian but....". If you've had a lot of Indian food and are in the area, you will be happy, probably not blown away. I personally wouldn't drive out of my way for it in favor of some of my other favorite Indian spots that are closer to me, but I will happily eat here again when in the area. read more

Excellent food. The only reason it's not 5 stars is the price. For Indian food in Denver $50 was a bit much for two people. Still I had the lamb vindaloo. My mouth is watering now just thing about it. It was quite spicy (the way I like) and my other half had chicken curry. We both enjoyed our meals so much we overate. Portion sizes were a bit too much for one but not so much for two. I also had the samosas which were good but not great. I would recommend them though some of the menu items are a bit weird to me (garlic cheese naan and seafood aren't common for my Indian standbys). read more

I started off with the Flying Horse Royal Lager beer from India. It was very good. It was also a large bottle at 22 ounces. I had the Dal soup and lamb Naan as appetizers. I loved the garlic in the Dal soup. I really would eat the Dal Soup anytime I get a chance. It was delicious. I will look up recipes for this Saturday. The lamb Naan reminded my of pizza with no sauce. It was good but not anything special. It was like having ground lamb pellets pressed into pizza dough. My main course was the lamb Madras, which was ordered spicy. The color was purple, which was off putting. The flavor was awesome. Very spicy and very tender. I truly enjoyed this dish. I will definitely eat here again. I will recommend this place to anyone who will listen. read more

Located in a new strip mall with a large parking lot, very clean and well-decorated, friendly and helpful service, tasty food. Forrest Y and I split a lamb vindaloo with naan, not knowing that their entrees come with a relatively large helping of rice. I've never had a problem with this place. After traveling all day for work, I just wanted some yummy Indian food delivered to my home without any hassles. I got the saag paneer and it was watery, the spinach tasted like it was used from frozen spinach and the quality/presentation of the dish was nothing I've received before. I called the restaurant in hopes they would redeliver but they do not have a delivery service and since I ordered through Uber Eats, I would need to drive over and get a new saag paneer dish. ?! Or. Call UberEats for a refund. Yea. That's exactly what I wanted to do, get in my car and go get a new dish. So I called UberEats, they won't processed a refund and I ate rice for dinner. read more

What a wonderful surprise! This was our first time as we are from out of town. Quick drive from the airport. Samjhana was our server today and she was so helpful and kind. She advised us on her favorite menu items in addition which ones were spicy or less spicy. The food was excellent! We love Indian food and this one was perfect! We had the curry, a vegetarian dish and the chicken soup. All were delicious! We didn't have any bread with our meal, but I spotted someone else's and It looked great! We arrived around lunchtime at Denver International Airport and took a while to get our rental car. Coriander was the nearest Asian restaurant and we just went there as it was almost 2 PM. My family and I were pleasantly surprised with the tasty food that they served us. The tandoori chicken was tender, moist and tasty. The fish curry was superb! The naan was soft and chewy. Never tried Indian cuisine before so I was excited about this place close to my house. Pros: I got the lamb biryani and regular naan, absolutely delicious. Lamb was falling apart and tender, spices were abundant, and rice was fluffy. Got a side of fish and it was perfectly cooked and flakey. Portion size left me with 3 separate meals - more bang for my buck. Cons: I got a side of basmati rice and it was quite tough making me think it either wasn't cooked that day or at the bottom of the pot. I also found a hair in my biryani :/ Regardless, I would go back and keep ordering new plates because I understand we're all human and make mistakes, but I appreciate the effort these chefs put into making these dishes a lot more!! read more

This place is decent. The food is bland, however the portion was good size. Also, trying to charge extra for certain things when every other Indian restaurants give for free. This was a huge negative point for me and also the food being bland, even though I stated I wanted it extra spicy (still end up being mild only). No utensils nor napkins provided as well with my to go order. Why does a customer need to ask for these? It should be provided. The owner/management seems stingy and cheap possibly.
