My boyfriend and I came in last night for a last minute Valentine's Day dinner and were so pleasantly surprised. We had low expectations as it was a hotel restaurant but the service, ambience and food were all impeccable. First want to start off by commending our waiter Christian G!! He was amazing and gave us complimentary Crab Croquettes for our first time there. When I say you need to get this appetizer, you NEED to get it. It was one of the best appetizers we've ever had. So shout out to Christian for recommending that to us. We had the beef tartare, oysters, truffled bucatini and the chocolate peanut butter pie to finish off. Beef tartare and bucatini were both so delicious. Oysters were good but nothing to write home about. The chocolate peanut butter pie was my boyfriends favorite (he has a huge sweet tooth) and he even said that it might be his favorite dessert ever! Again, we were so impressed by this small restaurant that we are planning to come by again this weekend to try out the other dishes and see if we will have the same amazing experience!! But also because my boyfriend is now addicted to the pie and will need his fix haha read more

Such great ambiance and it was perfect for drinks and appetizers. The bar area was very clean and inviting, had to get two orders of the crab croquettes which came out hot delicious with banging aioli sauce. Also our bartender Chris was Awsome, very knowledgeable too gave us insight on what makes a great martini. read more

Nice restaurant with good vibes and friendly service. For lunch I ordered the chicken club. It was pretty good, but the chicken was just so dry. Thankfully our server had given us some lemon aioli that I was able to smear on the sandwich, but without that it was tough to eat. Shoestring fries were a hit! read more

First time trying Corinne and the overall experience was great! Walking in I thought the decor was nice, lighting was a little too dim for my liking. Most of the crowd on this Saturday night was on the younger side and the atmosphere was very vibrant but felt cozy because of the lighting. The music seemed a little loud at times but nothing that would keep you from having a conversation. The food was delicious and reasonably priced! The waitstaff were very attentive and friendly. I also liked that they had vegetarian options. Had the burrata cheese to start with a bottle of Prosecco. For my main dish I had the Truffled bucatini and the bread pudding for dessert. I would recommend trying all of those. I would definitely go back to try some of the other items I didn't get to try. read more

Are the other reviews real? Service was rather slow, staff with big hair should've been wearing hair nets - unsanitary. The food was OK, not great. Crickets and cockroaches on the patio, music too loud making it impossible to have a conversation.. High prices. Sorry, can't think of much good to say about this place. read more

Had a lovely meal at Corinne. Service was very attentive. My brother and his girlfriend each had pasta dishes that they loved. We started with the rolls. Delicious. I had the burrata - likely one of the best I've had in a restaurant. My meal was the diver scallops which were generously sized and served with greens and sautéed mushrooms and spinach. Really, really good (and I am very picky about seafood). The drinks were very well-made. They certainly do not chince out on alcohol in the mixed drinks. Atmosphere was low-lit and music was fantastic. Only complaint is that it is freezing in there. The tables by the vents feel like walk-in refrigerators. Overall a fantastic experience, and I'd be back. read more

Some of the best food I've ever had. I went for happy hour and I highly recommend. Happy hour is the perfect chance to order discounted, delicious food options to try several items for the table. They also have great drink deals too. My friends and I also tried the scallops, burrata and truffle pasta and it was absolutely amazing. If you like crab, do yourself a favor and get the crab cakes they literally melt in your mouth! read more

You know that feeling you get when the furthest you need to travel, on foot, is the elevator to hit your room? The false sense of well, I can have a couple more whiskies since I am not driving? Yeah, that was in full force on our visit to Corinne last Friday night. We cozied into a booth. There was a nice ambiance to the place and definitely not the vibe of being in a hotel for dinner. The menu was simple but complex. I opted for the Wild Mushroom Bolognese. Been in pasta mode recently, so this seemed right up my alley. The Bolognese was well prepared and had a deep savory flavor which was attained I would imagine by a slow simmer for a period of time. The Micro Basil provided some brightness. Rigatoni was cooked al dente and all in all a successful plate of warmness on a cool evening. At $19, it was a bargain. Suzie went all in with the Truffled Bucatini and nom nom'd her way through the dish. Again, reasonable price point of $22. The service was attentive, however they need to figure out what a wine cooler is. When the vino was presented, the bottle was precariously sitting on top of a cylinder of cubed ice. So essentially, not cooling the wine at all since only the bottom tenth of the bottle was actually on the ice. I would suggest that using shaved ice or a wider cylinder used, in order to accommodate the bottle and the ice. We also had Brunch on the day of our departure. The fresh squeezed juices are delicious. The homemade biscuit's we equally yummy. Avocado toast was large and fancy pancy and hit the spot. I ordered the eggs my way and were more than I could complete... well adding bacon, one thick slice, and snarfing down a biscuit and sausages may have added to not cleaning by plate. I felt the service on both a occasions was very good, but unfortunately suffered attentiveness once the restaurant started to get busy. Understandable during these current times with labor shortages. There is also a nice patio area which I could see would be brilliant during the spring and you happen to be partying downtown. read more

I'm so happy to see new restaurants opening in Austin and thriving! Corinne is located within the swanky new Marriott in downtown and definitely did not disappoint! The seating near the bar is admittedly cooler than their traditional dining room but also their outdoor patio is so nice (when its not 10000 degrees). We arrived an hour early to get a drink at the Lobbyist (lobby bar) but found it to be closed and they even sat us early. Here is my order: - Bottle of Schramsburg Sparkling Wine - Wednesdays are half off bottles under $100! - Apricot Burrata - So delicious! I'm a sucker for all forms of cheese and this did not disappoint! Perfect mix of sweet and salty over grilled bread. - Wagyu Beef Tartare - Not a traditional dish that I would order but it was outstanding! So smooth and not at all chewy. - Deviled eggs (not pictured) - They are supposed to be BLT deviled eggs but really they just tasted like a traditional deviled egg with bacon on top. I was not disappointed but likely I will not order this dish again because it was pretty average. Pro-tip: Make sure to have the hostess desk validate your parking! It decreases your 3hr fee from $28 to $15. If you want a nice dinner downtown, try out Corinne! The staff is really nice and its lovely! read more

Unfortunately for the food, the service we received, rather, lack there of, was not able to overcome the 2 star experience at Corinne. We were able to make a same-day reservation which was nice, and previous reviews and photos is what drew us in. The ambiance, the vibe we loved. Seated (after we were a little late trying to find parking thanks to construction) immediately and greeted by our waiter. Typical Saturday brunch rush but honestly nothing crazy, or seems we missed the busiest part or the morning. We ordered drinks right away, the espresso martini was delicious. Right after drinks we placed our meal order, ordering an appetizer of the biscuits first. We were so caught up in conversation that my brother realized we still didn't have our appetizer and drinks empty, water empty. Our waiter nowhere to be found. After 30 minutes had passed, a manager approached and apologized for the wait, didn't mention why but assured us our food would be out shortly and offered my boyfriend another drink. AFTER the manager came did our waiter come by and ask if the manager stopped by and offered an apology. (????) why haven't you been checking on us this entire time? lol offer more water at the minimum. Our food came out, and was delicious. We were missing our appetizer which ended up coming out after our main meal. Which, by the way were eggs, bacon and a club sandwich. Again, the food was delicious. When we finally received the appetizer, of biscuits and jam and butter they were also delicious, buttery and fluffy. Like I said, unfortunate because I would have loved to give more stars. We noticed we weren't the only ones without food but the only ones whose waiter paid us no mind. There might have been a computing issue or something which again, is understanding but if you let us know, stop by, refill water, offer another drink, SOMETHING. The reason for my low stars was not only our lack of service from our waiter but, the manager, not once but twice mentioned 'we'll take care of this for you' with his apologies. After the waiter cleared our plates he asked if we wanted the check....with no expectation that our entire meal, drinks included would be comped, nothing was and, the manager never returned to correct the waiter or the bill etc. We paid with no problem and left. I don't think we'll be returning on service alone. read more

Wow, what an experience! The service here is top notch, and the food was amazing! My personal favorites were the Crab Croquettes and my husband enjoyed the avocado hummus, but the Burrata Cheese and spicy tuna bruschetta really took the cake! Old Dog, New Tricks was my favorite cocktail of the night, and our server was an absolute doll. A+ experience! read more

I was so excited to win an all expense paid trip through DO210 to this amazing hotel. I'm going to name drop the best of the best, first off Alison, effortlessly got me a room, valet, dinner and provided a welcoming experience while doing so. Next up the Valet from San Antonio who advised multiple times he could help Me, didn't get his name but wonderful 5 star service, the restaurant manager of Corinne was the next all star welcoming each and every guest into restaurant, you could see his smile under his mask. Lastly, Michelle the server who provided us multiple drinks and food items during our dinner with a friendly attitude providing us suggestions and even telling us that she was from El Paso and that I reminded her of back home ::tear drops:: Anyways I'm here for one more night and this place is on my return list and most amazing place I've stayed in Austin. I enjoy the ambiance. Wait I forgot one person, the person who checked me in drinking espresso, blonde and super nice, she was quick at her job, friendly and didn't have any issues. We are visiting Austin from out of town, and this restaurant was close to where we staying. I was reluctant at first because "hotel food" is not usually a good experience. However we loved this restaurant! We had a lovely waitress, and great service. The food was really good - we had the rolls and I had the mushroom bolognese. Great ambience also! On the lunch menu, for the vegans: The avocado hummus is totally vegan. The kale and apple salad is vegan if you remove cheddar and honey pecans. The roasted portabello sandwich is vegan if you remove the gruyère and bordelaise sauce, and replace the brioche bun with sourdough bread. The wild mushroom Bolognese can be made vegan by simply removing the parmesan. They have a number of non dairy milks for the coffee, too. Thanks so much to the waiter, Justin, and the chefs for going through the menu and figuring this all out for me. I figured I'd share it with anyone else looking to make it easier, but of course double check in case the menu changes. read more

Good but not great. It's possible that I just caught Corinne on an off day but my Wagyu burger was basic with a capital B. Even worse were the cold show string fries - generously portioned but pathetically stale. Had a couple and had to stop eating them. Brunch menu was limited at best. Friendly staff saved this review from being a 2/5. Maybe dinner is the better meal to have here. read more

If you're looking for a chill little breakfast spot then look no further than Corinne Austin, it'll checks all the boxes. Not only does this place have a curated but varied menu, it offers everything at a decent price and is served by a friendly staff. We ended up getting a croque madame, which is the first time we'd ever heard of such an item, and were delighted by the execution and taste - delicious! The ambiance is quiet, very quiet in fact. So if you want some place to wake up slowly and at your own pace then this is it. Paired with the tasteful decor and this is a winner. The only downside, and this must just be an Austin thing(?), is they don't serve alcohol before 10:00a. I realize this makes me sound like a drunk but all I wanted was a blood mary to cure my hangover! Nonetheless, this is a wonderful spot that I encourage you to try. read more

We stopped into Corinne tonight. We had an amazing time.... We started our meal with the Parker house rolls and the Avacodo hummus. Avacodo hummus- was delightful, the veggies were fresh and the hummus was supper yummy. Parker house rolls were so tasty. I had the Brush Creek Wagyu Burger. It was delicious, I would recommend getting it medium. We ended our meal with the Strawberry Shortcake... It was so good This will be our new go to place. It's not an extravagant restaurant but what they did offer was really good. First off, my waiter, Sok, was very attentive & friendly. I ordered the Braised Wagyu & was floored by how good it was. If I could've taken a pitcher of the Aus Jus to go, I would been happy !! I was told the Wagyu was braised for 14 hours. Adding the mushrooms & heirloom carrots just made it even better. I can't vouch for anything else on the menu except it. One thing though...it is noisy in there. Part of that is that it's in the lobby, right next to the bar. But it's worth trying. read more

Corinne was nice. We were hotel guests and were looking for something quick. Nice ambiance. Service was attentive and nice. Crab croquettes were yum- good amount of crab. Spinach/avo Ceaser was pretty good- nice portion. I'd recommend this place for a first stop on a night out. read more

Huge portions and hearty flavors! The menu is chock full of amazing starters, and we've already decided to go back just for more of those (sit at the bar, grab a few bites, sounds like a date!) We chose the crab croquettes and my word...we were not disappointed. Crisp delicious outer coating gives way to a buttery soft and fresh and flakey centre. Very pleased with that choice. Had we known the entrees were gonna come out the size of our heads, we may have forewent the shoestring fries (but secretly glad we didn't, because they were excellent). I got the wagyu entree, which was absolutely decadent, and entirely more filling than I thought it would be. Rich, deep flavors and perfectly accompanied by super interesting mushrooms and other wonderful veg (which is not a review I give lightly). My date got the rotisserie chicken...which was HALF a chicken. She reports that it was very succulent despite its size, and I can attest, since we had it for lunch the next day too The only thing about that dish left wanting was the broccolini. In today's age of roasted vegetables, it's a shame to still see a barely seasoned, boiled vegetable like this make it to the table. It was just bland and didn't fit the profile. The service was also spot-on. They're a new place, so I'd absolutely expect this to be a priority for them, but they did not disappoint, despite being hugely busy that evening. We dined in for breakfast. We sat in a mainly restaurant ignored for 10 minutes. The service did not get much better from there. The food is pretty solid. We both ordered eggs your choice. I had the chicken sausage, which was very good. Only complaint was heavy handed over medium eggs. read more

I try to avoid hotel eateries but I've had great dining experiences at hotels like the JW Marriott in Austin. We, four, stopped by on a Sunday AM for breakfast and we had a great time. They do have brunch cocktails available and their bloody Mary's were deemed excellent with just the right amount of spice. My bloody Maria was on point and we all got our Sunday Funday started. Breakfast was wonderful. Our eggs arrived cooked perfectly. The pepper bacon and real potato sides were off the charts delicious. They also offer a few TexMex breakfast options and Plus one was raving about her Huevos Rancheros plate. Service was excellent even though they became busy our server was very attentive. Corinne Austin is a beautiful downtown spot with an upscale yet welcoming vibe. The restaurant is spotless, well-designed, and makes you feel a little fancy the moment you walk in. Even though the space is large, the layout keeps it feeling cozy and intimate, which I really appreciated. Atmosphere alone is a solid five stars. Food-wise, I'd give it three stars. I tried the wild mushroom bolognese, the truffle bucatini (with added steak), and the rotisserie chicken. The pasta dishes were good -- especially the truffle bucatini -- but the rotisserie chicken was under-seasoned and lacked flavor. The drinks and service really stood out. I had the Afternoon Spritz in Zilker Park, which was refreshing and delicious, and the service was friendly, attentive, and consistent throughout the meal. Robert was our server and he did an amazing job with his great suggestions for food and drinks. The BLT deviled eggs were super tasty and perfect for a little appetizer (4 pieces). My friend and I both ordered the Braised Wagyu, and taking Robert's advice, I added 2 scallops and it was definitely the right choice!!! I ordered it medium rare, but it came out closer to medium-well. The meat also had a bit of a funk to it, which made it seem like it may not have been the freshest cut. The fries were also underwhelming--poorly seasoned and pretty forgettable. Based on this experience, I probably wouldn't come back for the steak frites or another steak/meat entrée. That said, the restaurant itself is beautiful and very vibey, and I could see it being a great spot to grab a cocktail on the patio.

I came in on a Thursday night and found myself dining with a handful of other tables. It was relatively quiet and calm, and better for my preference. The menu has a lot of carb filled dishes to pair with heavier protein dishes. The prices are what you expect them to be, on the higher/more expensive end, and the portion is negotiable to the price. However, for what I ordered, sharing it with 1 other person, it was enough food to fill us up. To start, we tried the burrata and it was smothered in this smokey tomato sauce. Pairing this with freshly baked bread was the perfect introduction of what we were getting ourselves into. For our main dishes, we tried the rigatoni and crispy crab rice. Me being a pasta lover, I wish I ordered 5 of the rigatonis because it was delicious! The sauce it was paired with felt extremely light and though the dish was filling, I didn't feel stuffed or bloated after. It is definitely worth trying! On the other hand, the crispy rice was great as well! Definitely EXTRA crispy, which I wasn't expecting. It was a little overdone, making it extremely difficult to cut into and break apart, then just stuck in your teeth afterwards. But it was well seasoned. The flavors from the rice mixed with the toppings and the crab really give it that upscale Asian flavoring you look for. Definitely if you are in the Austin area, check this place out! There were barely any people there other than our group and the entire dining hall was basically empty. My fiancé and I were ready to order food and drinks from their happy hour menu by 6:10 and there was no process in place what so ever so we went over to the bar to place our order. Believe it or not it took them until 6:19 to finally get our attention and so we let the host order before us. We still wanted to make the happy hour order before 6:30 and so I told the Bartender it would be great if he could get us next. At 6:28 when we were trying to place our orders, he says I will need to run over to my manager and see if I can take your order for happy hour food. We were literally shocked because we couldn't understand what that meant. It was clearly written in their menus and on their website that happy hour runs until 6:30 daily. When he came back, he told us we are only able to order the happy hour bites on the bottom half of the menu and not the three course prefix happy hour on the top half. There was no explanation offered and no compassion or apologies around why that was happening. He basically just smiled and said yeah it is what it is. So in the moment because we were so short of time, we ended up ordering one of each items from the second half of the menu and it was an absolute disaster. I run a happy hour account on socials and can confidently say this isn't something I would ever recommend to my followers. From the amount of time, it took to finally get someone's attention to order a meal, to the attitude and the bait and switch with their offerings despite them being written in black-and-white on their menu and website was an absolutely horrible experience. Does dinner/networking mixer give these guys a ton of business that they normally wouldn't have had and they literally treated everybody like they were doing us a favor by letting us be there. Be better guys!!!

We ordered the steak tasting board with four different steaks, and I can genuinely say it was the best steak I've ever had in my life. Every bite was melt-in-your-mouth perfection. They had a few mocktail options, so I picked the Miami Nice, which was a refreshing strawberry flavor profile. They have valet parking and validation at the host stand which made it very convenient for us! Everything was so picturesque here.
