This place is just what we needed on our way back to LA from Big Bear. It's got old timey diner type vibes, attentive and friendly wait staff, and good eats. My kids are happy with pancakes, bacon, and eggs, so they were all happy campers. My breakfast burrito was massive and delicious. I love their little decorative signs and random mugs for coffee. First time at Corky's. I don't like leaving negative reviews, but I feel I need to. My husband said his omelette was great. My 'Santa Fe Chicken Sandwich', not so much. It was very dry. I didn't complain as I had already had to have my fries redone as they were overcooked & 'brown'. The price of this sandwich seemed very high (we go to other sit down restaurants with the same types of food, same serving size) and they are at least $4-5 less. Also, an upcharge of $.99 for onion on my sandwich (again, just a few bits of onion). The staff was friendly, the restaurant was clean. read more

Placed an online order for French toast. Comes with eggs and bacon. I asked for no eggs just another side of bacon and even said an extra charge is fine since I know it would have to be a side of bacon. since I would be splitting meal with kids. Instead of just charging me for a side of bacon the rude girl at the front said they couldn't do it bc they only substitute bacon with eggs. I said the extra charge was fine though. They wanted to wait for me to show up to start cooking the extra bacon...I said it's fine bc I just wanted to pick up and go expecting it all to be ready. She rolled her eyes at me so I left. Stopped in after an evening at Yamaava Casino on our way home for a late dinner. Greeted by Tuni, the manager, at Corky's/Rialto, with a nice cheerful GOOD EVENING & quickly seated. Our server, Victor, came over within minutes & asked us for our beverage order & return, immediately, with them plus ready to take our order. Victor was very courteous & attentive. Our food came out in no time, hot & delicious. We even took dessert home, their yummy brownie bite. We recommend all the Corky's off the 210 freeway we have visited from Claremont to Highland. We have even been well greeted by Devin, the DM, at the Highland's Corky's & watched him pitch in with his workers from serving meals to tables to mopping the floors after closing. Our server Lilia (Lila?) was a complete joy. She had the best personality, great memory, knows how to work all her tables without missing anything. She has a great follow-up too! She suggested the pumpkin muffin after I mentioned I wanted something sweet, but didn't want to add pancakes. She did follow-up to see how I liked it and had a caring attitude. She made some small talk with us too with busy Sunday volume, but didn't make anyone feel unattended.
