I recently visited Corky's in Upland with my family for breakfast and had a great experience. I ordered an omelet which was made with 5 eggs (corkeys omlet) and it included bacon, sausage, and ham. It was very filling and delicious! I also appreciated how Corky's promotes local businesses by accepting coffee mugs as donations. It was nice to see that when dining there, we were utilizing various cups from local businesses, which gave us a homey vibe. The food quality was good overall, but if you have kids and a stroller, be aware that strollers are not allowed inside. There isn't much space for one, so expect to use a high chair or booster instead. This can be a bit tough if you have an infant and a stroller. Aside from that, Corky's has a bakery where you can order pies. They have seasonal pies available, as well as the ability to pre-order them. Corky's bakery has a variety of baked goods including pies and cookies. Their fresh muffins are also delicious and you can get one alongside your breakfast. In addition to indoor dining, Corky's also offers outdoor dining so you can choose where you'd like to sit. read more

Everyone and everything in this spot was awesome! Not only were the booths clean, so were the table and floors. This gave a real diner feel but 10000% cleaner with a home vibe. Really felt like grandmas kitchen. Food- HUGE portions! You can share easily with 2-3 people. Coffee was amazing and hot chocolate was gigantic. You get a free cookie when you check in on YELP. It's just a good 'ol' coffee shop that makes good breakfasts and dinners - loved when they were open 24 hours but I don't think any of them are open that much post COVID. We stopped by after a hike to Baldy. We ordered Blueberry pancake, sausage and eggs. And scramble eggs, bacon and bagel. I wish the pancake was fluffier, but everything else was typical American breakfast, can't be really go wrong and they were good. Waitress was nice to recommended us to order the pancake from the senior menu since the volume was much smaller vs regular menu. That was very nice of her to do so. They can't really separate booth seats, so we were going to sit down behind one booth. And the customers who were sitting there complained us not keeping 6 feet distance. That wasn't nice experience, so we moved to another booth. They do have plastic partitions between the seats, so I didn't feel threaten or anything.... Pleasant environment, food is excellent across the board, portions are totally solid. Have never had any errors or issues. Today's visit was a bit different. A bit slower and a longer visit. I was there about 12 noon. Server came over once to see if everything was good and then I had to call her over for my bill. I ordered breakfast, bacon & eggs, etc. It wasn't hot when I got the plate. When it's room temperature nothing taste good. Hence, the 3 star rating. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! If I could leave a -5 star, I would!! It's so sad that discrimination exists even at the level of management in the restaurant industry. That a Manager would lie to a customer right to her face, get caught lying, then make up another lie to cover up for the previous one. Such a shame!!! A customer (different ethnicity than me) that was purchasing a pie, was told that the pie she wanted to purchase was sold out. The cashier then told the customer that the "Baker" can make her one if she waits 10 minutes. The customer couldn't wait, so she purchased a different pie and left. I requested to purchase a pie with a different cashier, and was told the pie I wanted was also out. I then asked if the "Baker" can make me one. The cashier said she would ask. She then told me the baker is leaving for the day. I explained that I overheard the baker was offering to make another customer a pie in 10 minutes, so I was confused as to how the baker was now leaving when she offered to make the previous customer a pie ? I requested to speak with the manager. Long story short, both the cashier and manger continued to lie to me coming up with different lies and excuses. Maybe that Manager doesn't know how to manage a restaurant and what false advertising is??? Nor does she know how to treat all customers equally. One because it's always so warm and welcoming it really feels like you are at your own home enjoying family time and having wonderful meals. We visited the Upland location today. Our server was amazing from the get go! She was bubbly, polite, and very courteous. The service was great and she would constantly check on us, not because that was what she was supposed to do, but because she genuinely cared about doing her job well. I asked to speak with the manager to offer my kudos for this exceptional young lady and the manager informed us that this was her fifth day on the job. I came to Corky's this morning for breakfast and was promptly greeted by April who was also our server. Another server also extended greetings but I didn't get her name. April seated us at a nicely cleaned table and immediately got our drinks. I had the Corky's omelet and my buddy had the steak and eggs. The food came shortly after we ordered and was tasty and hot, with no complaints. Drinks never went empty. April checked on us to make sure everything was good without making us feel rushed. Five of us visited Corky's yesterday. My friend ordered a coffee, opened a creamer and it plopped in his coffee. (stale) The waitress brought him another one. The waitress was very good but was the only waitress. My food came, my first bite had a hair in it. My third bite had another long hair in it! I tried to find someone to complain to but there was no one. We left to pay, no cashier. We waited and waited, no one came to help us. We had to look for someone and finally a man came to take our money. He was not friendly at all, no thank you or a smile. My friends said their food was good, huge portions. Corky's has easily become my new favorite restaurant, and in my opinion, the Upland location is better compared to the other locations I've been to. The food is always fresh and delicious, service is top-tier, and the portions are huge!! I always have leftovers, no matter what I order. It really is a bang for your buck. Some of my favorites are barnyard breakfast special w/ polish sausage, the turkey cranberry wrap, and delicious steak fries. Corky's has the best pancakes in town. And let's give a big round of applause for the desserts! The Oreo cheesecake and strawberry pie are to die for. Last but not least, I always look forward to which coffee mug I'll get next. I've never been served the same coffee mug twice, which imo is an excellent tactic to make customers continue buying coffee there ;) My fiancé and my mom also love Corky's now, and we talk about it all the time. Food is ok. It's never consistent which can be a bit irritating. I've dined in since covid and they are still ok. The servers are nice (never had an issue with one). I ordered delivery today and the food arrived cold and didn't taste that great. We had the triple decker sandwich and the fries tasted old. I have the build your own omelette with home fries and the potatoes were all over the place. Top layer was crispy and some burnt and bottom layer was raw.
