This review is long overdue. I felt compelled to write because Nima and the whole team at Corner 3 are just outstanding, and the past several interactions have really just made our entire family grateful for how blessed we are in having them as our go-to mechanics. We have been taking our Hondas to Corner 3 for about 10 years by now, and the excellence of their diagnostics and service, is only matched by their honesty, integrity, and insanely thorough and painstaking customer service. Nima is the main public interface of Corner 3 - he's the one you'll most likely interact with, along with his great support in Brandon. We recently had the catalytic converter stolen out of our Honda Element, and what was a potentially very stressful violation, was just ameliorated immensely by how Nima and the team dealt with it. He handled all the insurance aspects for us that he could, and made sure we got a replacement cat. in a very quick timeframe, when almost all the cats. available were backordered and out of stock. Not only did Nima handle the insurance paperwork swiftly and proactively, but he kept us super-informed throughout the entire process. Filing insurance claims for expensive car parts after a theft outside your own house can be extremely stressful, but Nima and his team magically made it an easy process for us, and we were back with a new cat in very little time. Not only did they do this, but when we had a ton of questions about how to protect the cat in future, Nima patiently watched videos that we sent and gave us well-informed opinions via e-mail and phone about the various after-market shields, helping us to make a better decision about our final purchase, going well above and beyond what any mechanic needs to do. I think one of the strongest testaments to how good Corner 3 is, is that we still drive cars from 2005, 2006, as well as a newer car, thanks to the excellence of their work and diagnostic skill. Our 2005 Honda Element has had many subtle, devious, difficult-to-reproduce problems as it has aged and accumulated miles, yet the crew at Corner 3 has been able to address each difficulty as it arose, and keep this car running safely and smoothly. If we don't sell it, we are doomed to drive this car forever, based on their service. Recently, a foreign object got picked up by a tire in our Honda Pilot when we were driving in another town, and it made the craziest and loudest noises ever. We didn't hesitate to call Corner 3, and even though they were 30 minutes from closing, we were told by Brandon to bring it over and they'd check it out, despite having a busy schedule of other customers' cars to deal with. We came, Brandon and Steve (?) checked it out for us for free, and were able to reassure us after lifting it and checking it thoroughly that whatever had attached to our tire had fallen off and everything was okay. We were able to make a short road trip the next day without any issue and with confidence thanks to them. The staff were friendly, experienced, professional, and timely. I called for a standard 90k service for my prius and the experience was excellent all the way through. They scheduled a time that worked for me and were ready to take my car as soon as I walked in the door. They discussed the costs, what they would be doing, and when it would be ready. Halfway through the checkup, they called me to give me an update on the progress and discuss what was found. At no point was I pressured into unnecessary maintenance and they genuinely seemed to be trying to ensure I got the best value for their services. It was estimated 2-3 hours and I got the call they were finished in 2:15. When I went to pick up my prius, I was given a detailed run-down of what they did and the cost was precisely what was quoted to me at the start. No hidden fees, nickle and diming, or shenanigans. Nima and his staff are knowledgeable and honest and provide excellent service. I started out with an oil change at Corner 3 Garage and was impressed by the service I received. I went back and had them work on my rear brakes and have to say that Nima thoroughly explains everything to you and gives you options as far as what is necessary and can wait, so you can save money. I feel comfortable when I am at Corner 3, because I have been given honest, personable, quality service. If you have a Nissan, Honda, or Toyota, I could not recommend anyone better. Very decent people. I didn't catch his name but it's one of the owners and he was super nice. After reading the reviews on Yelp I decided to give them a try. They were under Auto Repair so I thought it would be what I was looking for. Sadly, they don't do body repair... I guess that's a different category?? But they were very friendly and recommended a place nearby. The guy was super nice about everything and very helpful even though I was not giving them any money! He told me about how they never refer ppl b/c of any backlash but he actually gives the stamp of approval of a place nearby. It's a little bit more expensive and the turnaround time is longer but the work is superb. The way he talked about it was very detailed and friendly. I asked if he could tell me where it is or their number and the guy was so nice that he printed me a map and info! I was like whoa... that's service. I wish I could give them some of my business! I signed up for a Yelp! Account just so I could review this garage! I took my car to another garage for a couple of years, but after a bad experience I've been taking my Honda to the dealership ever since. I never experienced superior customer service at an auto shop as I have at Corner 3! Nima took the time to answer all my questions and explain things to me without making me feel like an idiot. I originally needed an oil change and tire rotation, and asked Nima to look at the brakes while he was rotating the tires. I got a car just two hours later letting me know that yes, I did need brakes and he gave me a quote at a VERY reasonable price. (I called the dealership and another repair shop for a quote on the same job, both came in higher than Corner 3). I had my car back exactly 24 hours after I dropped it off. Nima also took the time to explain that since my car is at 100k mi, I will be facing more costly repairs soon and explained what they all were, and how much I could expect to spend on them, so I could decide whether I wanted to keep the car or sell it. I never expected to get this kind of advice from him and in my 6 years of auto ownership, and taking my car in for regular service at the dealer and other repair shops, have never received this kind of attention! Cliff notes below Bringing your car to a mechanic is typically an experience that rivals the dreaded car salesman experience. However, the guys at Corner3Garage have provided me with a great experience. I just purchased a used car recently and have been trying to get some maintenance work done to ensure the longevity of the engine. I emailed Corner3Garage one night asking for a quote and Nima replied to me immediately after opening shop the next morning with a detailed quote itemizing everything. In a separate email, I also had a question for Nima about a certain part that isn't carried at the typical Pepb0ys or Aut0zone type of store and he said that they do not carry the item but referred me to a parts store that found the item for me. He could have easily just said that they don't carry the item and left it at that but he went out of his way to help me get that part. Well, after a few more emails of me pestering Nima with different questions, I had my car scheduled to go in. (He was always nice and thorough in his responses which was quite surprising as I was probably pretty bothersome, haha.) I arrive at C3G and start chatting with the employees. I notice that one of the workers (who I come to find out is Steve) has the same exact track event "tech" sticker on one of his cars as I had on my civic from like 7 years ago or so. Pretty small world occurrence. We chat a little and then he goes back to working on a beautiful GT-R. The mechanic who worked on my car was also very nice. I never got his name but he was great as well. When I came to pick up my car, Nima went over some of the notes that the mechanic who worked on my car noted. Now whenever people try to tell me things that are wrong with my cars I immediately think J!ffy Lube and how they may try to pressure you into additional purchases. I typically find this act pretty insulting for some reason (maybe some of the guys in the past were a bit too abrasive). However, as Nima explained the items to me I felt that there was no sales pitch at all. So I go to ask a question to the guy who worked on my car and then after he answered it he told me that he also reset my stereo. (My anti theft code was activated when I replaced the battery two weeks ago) My immediate thought was Wow, he must know some magic code. He ended up telling me that he called the dealership and was able to get the code. Who goes that far out of the way? I never even mentioned that I didn't know the code or that the code was needed. He must have noticed this while he was moving my car and was kind enough to go way out of his way to do this. So here I am a bit after picking up my car writing this in hopes to have people go and visit the guys at Corner 3 Garage. These guys are CAR ENTHUSIASTS, not people who just ended up as mechanics, and truly do care about the customers and cars as well. There is only one con about these guys - They have the Nissan name larger than Honda on their shop banner, hahaha. (for those who lack the ability to read a joke via the internet - this is not really a con. This is a joke coming from a Honda person about Nissans.) With my 4Runner's 120k mile service coming up, I was hoping to find a good car shop. I had a great place when I was up at school but hadn't found a place here in Southern California that I really liked and felt comfortable with. Enter Yelp. You can imagine my surprise when I found a car shop with nearly 50 5-star reviews; I don't think I've ever seen anything quite like it. So I pored over each review and called around to several different shops to get quotes for the 120k mile service. Corner 3 was the same price as my previous car place (that is, unfortunately (or now fortunately, I suppose), 650 miles away) and cheaper and seemed more knowledgeable than several other places in the area. My mom was also looking for a car place and decided to try out Corner 3 for her car's 60k mile service. She thought Nima and Steve were great, so I set up an apt for my car. I'm so grateful for Yelp because I dig Corner 3! I was very impressed with their knowledge, with their honesty, with their communication, and with their thoroughness. The prices were also very reasonable. They did all the standard 120k mile work on my 4Runner and didn't find anything else in need of urgent work, but they let me know the status of different parts of the car so I could know what to look for in the future. They didn't have one part (antenna mast) that needed fixing, but said he'd call once the part came in; Nima called the next morning and was able to squeeze my car in on my lunch break, even though they were busy. I didn't understand where my gf was taking us to get her oil changed but I followed her anyways. I wasn't convinced that this place was worth going to but everything that followed after we walked into the office changed that. The guy there squeezed in my gf's oil change and since we had a ton of tasks to take care of that day, we left her car there. They called after they were done with the car and told her about the leaky water pump they found. As soon as she mentioned there was something wrong with her car, I figured that it would be followed by her saying that Corner 3 offered to fix it for a gajillion dollars but instead they told her that her warranty should still cover it. They advised her to take it to the dealership where she would be able to take advantage of the warranty and my favorite part is that they even gave her a tip on which dealerships to avoid. The one they mentioned was one that both of us have had trouble with in the past so it nice to know that these mechanics agreed with us. It feels great to know that we have a place to take our cars into that won't rip us off. read more

I found this place from Yelp, and the 5 stars reviews really got my attention. As I read through the review, I was surprised and wondered how good this place is. After finished reading half of them, I decided to give this place a call to get a quote for an oil change. Nima, who picked up the phone sounded very friendly and professional in answering all of my questions. As I got there, I finally know why people think they deserve 5 stars. They really do! Nima explained all the work that were performed in details, e.g: what oil will they use, why is it better to use the original oil filter, they even ask you if you have any preferrence for your tire pressure. They only believe in Original Parts which used by the dealership. Nima even told me that they only use DISTILLED water, which is the water that we DRINK (not tap water) to mix the coolant. He also told me what is recommended for my future service. On top of that, he is very honest and know what he's doing, so he won't rip you off by telling you to change things that you don't need. As I left, I got an email from Nima regarding the place he recommend for alignment, which I need to do pretty soon. He even told me who to contact, and who's the good mechanic there. I have never get such a great service before. I will surely be back, and trust me, this place is 100% recommended. This is probably the only place I trust for servicing my car. I went here for an oil change that I thought I needed, but didn't. I also had tires that were balding. Thing is, I already knew this going in, but wanted to check this place out since I didn't want to pay STEALERSHIP prices. I called to make an appointment, and even though they were pretty booked (it was a Saturday), Nima was still able to squeeze me in. When I get there, he greeted me promptly, filled out paper work, and up on the jack my car goes. He informed me that I didn't need my oil changed, and I needed new tires as well as an alignment. He went even further and explained everything to me. I had the work done anyway, and yes, they use genuine OEM parts! Did I mention that I don't have to pay STEALERSHIP prices? These guys are the absolute best!! I've been taking my cars to Corner 3 Garage for more than 5 years now and I've never been disappointed with the customer service and expertise. They have a great deal of integrity and always have your best interest in mind. I've seen them do more complicated jobs on high performance vehicles, but they also do the routine jobs on commuter cars like mine. Steve is a Nissan Certified Master Technician, so he's obviously an expert with them. But they also do great work on Toyota's and Honda's. I took my car here to fix my mirror and window - someone clipped my mirror while my car was parallel parked and the window's motor was dying on my Camry. Not only did they repair my car - and very quickly too (since I thought it was going to take all day and only took about an hour) - but they gave me an estimate with a breakdown of how much parts and labor were, and what would be the best options if I were trying to save money. I was in a rush to get some swift springs in order to change out my suspension as my car needed some work. I called this shop and asked them if I could order some for a GD3 (Honda Fit 2007) John picked up and guided me through and let me know that while they didn't have any in stock, he could pick them up for me so I could have them for the weekend. not only that, he went above and beyond and allowed me to pick it up from Oceanside near where he lived (i'm in San Diego Currently) instead of going to the shop at the normal business hours since I work until 4pm and I'd barely if not make it to their shop before closing. I take my 91 Honda Accord here for work. Nima is a professional and he's very thorough with pricing, quotes, and communication. They always advertise and let you know that they only use OEM parts, so stuff should last longer. They aren't going to cut corners to get the job done. If you care about your car take it here. Only thing they don't do is alignment, but they do about everything else for your Honda, Toyota, Lexus, Acura, Nissan, Infinity. No they don't work on Subaru's but be nice if they did. I've been coming here for a a few years now and due to great service decided to keep coming here after I purchased another Infiniti. Nima and Brendan are both great! Like other reviewers have mentioned, this is a trustworthy operation, much less labor cost than the dealer but you still get the quality of Nissan genuine parts. If they make a mistake, they also admit it and help to fix the problem if caused by them. Recently, Nima alerted me to an issue with some 2019 Infiniti QX50 engines having fuel leak issues, without me having mentioned the interior fuel smell I was experiencing just after refueling the tank. He recommended I return to the dealer for an inspection and potential warranty repair. Sure enough the dealer verified the issue (apparently there's a new part that addresses the issue but there's no recall yet). Thanks, Nima! read more

I took my 2004 Infiniti g35 in for an alignment. My car is slammed and lowered.. they took care of my car, told me all my problems that's going on and what I need to do to get them fixed! They were super friendly and super helpful. I have a few things I need to take care of before I bring it back for an alignment! They are very helpful and resourceful, I completely recommend anyone in need of an alignment or any other needs besides an alignment. I had a slip, VDC, Traction control light on and they didn't have to but they shut it off for me to see it would fix it. It's really the little things that customers appreciated and they seemed to really know how to do that and take care of their customers. With an upcoming road trip and my 12 year old car in need of service, I went here based on the numerous 5 star reviews and now am a customer for life. My old Pathfinder feels reborn after the superlative service that Nima and the gang have done. Where to start...Steve is a Nissan Master Technician and as Nima explained, very anal about his work. After the initial inspection, Nima let me look at the stuff they found while the car was up on the racks. They listed everything that wasn't up to factory standard down to the missing zip tie clips on a harness on my car and gave me a full estimate on the stuff that should be done now as opposed to what could wait until later. I'm not a total car dummy but its nice to have explained to you what you should fix now as well as what to keep an eye on for future problems. You guys are badass. They only used Nissan factory parts to fix my car. After years of just getting oil changes from anywhere that was cheap, man what a difference! I can't remember when my car drove so smooth. Nima is a great guy that is very knowledgable in cars. Their techs are very thorough with their inspections of your car during a routine oil change. Found out that my drive belt is cracking during their inspection. Nima showed me the actual cracking on the belt which was nice.
