Pretty average and standard location. It's in a plaza with many other businesses so by time we arrived here on a Saturday morning at 10am, many of the closer spots were taken. The place wasn't terribly busy when we arrived. It was about 60 percent full and stayed that way throughout our time. As one person left another person came in. Not a ton of time for the staff to just stand around. Even then they were pretty nice and patience and we went back and forth on what we wanted. We ordered the Pumpkin Spice White Chocolate Latte which has pumpkin spice, white chocolate, espresso, and your choice of milk (I went with oat milk). I was disappointed in it. It wasn't terribly pumpkiny and the white chocolate really changed the profile of the drink. We also ordered the Bacon & Egg Croissant for $10 which had scrambled eggs, smoked bacon, cheddar & tomatoes on a flaky croissant. The bacon wasn't crispy which is how I like it and the croissant was flakey but pretty dry. There was a nice buzz of excitement in the air which made the atmosphere lovely despite it being rainy that morning. There was a quick turn around time. Staff were on it when a party left. They quickly wiped it down and got it ready for the next group.

I love coming here anytime of the day, the food is good and not overwhelming and service is great. We love the pasta selections, we tried all of it but my favorite is the shrimp scampi linguine and pesto cavatappi and my husband's favorite is the chicken Rosa pasta! The sandwiches are also a must try because of great flavors! The staff is polite and made our visit always enjoyable. The ambience is cozy, brought my mom here and she loved it too! It's a cafe but it exceeded my expectations! I recommend this place. Recommended dishes: Shrimp Scampi, Pesto Cavatappi, Chicken Rosa Pasta, chicken pomodori, DC croissant sandwich. Price range: very reasonable

Stopped in for breakfast and for a couple treats for a friend I was meeting up with later. I'm torn between 3 to 4 stars. I've been to this chain before at their Issaquah location. This is the same concept as Panera: Order and pay at the counter and they call out your name when the order is ready. Then grab a table or take it to go. Breakfast bowl was OK, not bad but not good. Portion was on the small side. Chocolate croissant was meh. Friend reported the snickerdoodle was ok but tasted store made. Found out after I was in my car on the highway they had doubled the bakery items! They gave them to me after I paid at the counter, then after I picked up my friend and we were headed out of town, we discovered they had put them again inside the to-go bag.

It's hard to find a place in Seattle where you can get a drink and a meal for under $20 but you can at the Corner Bakery Cafe. Great for a quick breakfast solo or with friends. Service is fast. I had the avocado wrap and was very satisfied.

Good cafe in the area. We were pleased with the portions and food was hot and tasty. Upon walking in you order at the front cashier almost like Panera for example but better lol. They give you a number to place at your table of choice. Clean lobby with bar, booth, and table seating. They brought our food to us and took the number back. Beverage station has napkins, silverware, and sauce available for grab. We enjoyed our food but I wasn't super impressed with the broccoli cheddar soup so I didn't finish that. All in all we would consider returning if in the area.

This is near us and we've been meaning to go for ages. Finally stopped by for breakfast when I returned from a trip (we are rarely out and about at a breakfasty hour). Were surprised at the large menu and the abundance of baked goods - also there is apparently some kind of buy x amount and get one free or something? Everyone around us was doing this. We both enjoyed our breakfast selections. Place was hopping, pretty popular amongst both families and workers. Staff was friendly and efficient.

Better than I expected it to be. Food comes out fast and service is as friendly as you can imagine. I ordered the veggie scramble and added chicken sausage as well as a hazelnut cold brew. The breakfast plate was pretty solid, the potatoes were not crispy by any means but they were seasoned well (i did add some salt n pepper), scrambled itself was full of veggies and the toast was a pretty standard toast. Cold brew was okay, would forego it next time.

    Croissant Chicken Salad Sandwich

A had a croissant chicken salad sandwich for $4.99 which was a good price for this sandwich. The chicken sandwich was good with celery, sunflower seeds, and currants. The currants gave a sweetness, I didn't care for. I also got a mini blueberry bundt cake that was good. Cake was moist was not too many blueberries. It was early evening so not many customers. They didn't really have anyone at the front counter. There was someone sweeping the floors but the tables really needed to be wiped down.

    Delicious baked goods!

This I my go to spot for a quick yummy breakfast! Especially with my kids because the prices are great. My food is always delicious, fresh and hot. More importantly my coffee is always good too. The have a kids menu as well. The kids menu items are $5.99 and the portions are perfect amount too. My favorite part about this place is they serve BREAKFAST ALL DAY. They also have plug ins at the TABLES for your computers, etc. That's hard to find because when I had to study for academy it was hard to find nice, quiet, spacious places with plugs in at every table.

The restaurant is located in a small plaza. Parking lot is small and we were able to park easily. Upon entry, we were greeted and were seated right away. We had a window view which was nice. We enjoyed basking under the sun LOL! For starters, we ordered two coffee, cream and sugar while we browsed the menu. The restaurant was pretty spacious and clean. Not well lit or bright. It appeared that one section (rear) was kind of dark. It was a little odd. After we placed our order. It took approximately 45-50 minutes to receive our food. It was quite long. Sadly, our waitress didn't check in to refill our coffee. My daughter ordered the waffle combo with two sunny side eggs, hash browns and two sausage links $20.99. She enjoyed her food. I had a chance to try her Belgium waffle. It was light, airy and good. For my meal, I ordered the Avocado Florentine with carne asada (up charge $5.99) Total $25.99. It looked really delicious however, it was not. Unfortunately, it was bland. No seasoned and no flavor. I added salt and it still did not taste good. It didn't help. I had only three spoons and stopped eating. This has never happened. I had packed up my leftovers for my husband have at it. When my husband tried it, he stated it was bland. I rarely give bad reviews and rarely have bad tasting breakfast. This one hit that for me. =(

The first thing I appreciated was the parking. They have their own lot, so finding a space was easy--a huge bonus compared to many Seattle cafés where parking can be a challenge. As you walk in, you'll see shelves displaying their freshly baked breads and pastries, making it easy to browse before ordering. If you look to the left, there's also a viewing window where you can catch a glimpse of the bakery production behind the scenes, which adds a fun touch to the experience. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming. The staff were friendly and never made me feel rushed. Instead of asking repeatedly if I was ready, they simply let me take my time and came over when I was ready to order. I really appreciated that. I'm the type of person who takes a while to make very serious food decisions, so the no-pressure service made the experience even more enjoyable. One thing that surprised me was that the café wasn't filled with the strong aroma of coffee or freshly baked bread like many bakeries are. Don't let that fool you, though--the bread was incredible. I ordered the Bialy Egg Sandwich, and the bread was soft with a wonderful chewy texture while still having a nice crust on the outside. The egg was cooked with a perfectly runny yolk, which made every bite rich and satisfying. If you prefer your eggs fully cooked, I'd recommend asking when you order. I paired it with a coffee that leaned toward the bright, slightly acidic side. It complemented the sandwich well, although my personal preference is for coffee with more chocolatey, earthy notes. That's purely a matter of taste, not quality--I can definitely see why others would enjoy their roast. One thing to note is that pets aren't allowed inside the café, so plan accordingly if you're bringing your furry friend. But they do sell dog biscuits and you can enjoy the outdoor space with your furry friend after ordered. - which is a bit confusing to me Just keep in mind that they're only open on weekdays and close around 2 p.m., so it's definitely an early bird kind of place. I'd happily come back again--it's the perfect stop after a morning workout before heading to work, and I can definitely see why people have been recommending it. Overall, this is a wonderful spot for breakfast, a quiet coffee break, or a place to recharge before starting your day. It reminded me of the cozy cafés in Capitol Hill, but with much easier parking and a more relaxed pace.

Nice entryway/lobby area. The restaurant itself (and bar) is cozily set up, booths and tables, and charming art work from the movie "Caddy Shack" - loved that! Our server noticed us immediately, was efficient and friendly the entire time, and also makes a mean Billy's Cooler - a very refreshing citrus drink. The brisket sandwich was tops, the fries were good, the loaded potatoes are a fun option (the bacon was a little hard to eat - not crunchy, not soft). The main upset was the French Onion Soup, which was, let's just say, not their specialty area. It was overwhelmingly salty, with meager bread to soak up the broth. The server was kind enough to take it off our bill - it was, at least for me, inedible. My spouse thought the same. This was a glitch in an otherwise fine evening. Also notable was that, even though we came in about an hour before close, they never made us felt rushed. We will definitely go back for the ambience and try other menu items - and other drinks.
