I was severely disappointed with this cafe. I was on my way to take my mom to her appointment but wanted to stop for some soup and salad. When we walked in, we were so excited because the thin raisin toast slices displayed at the front with crystalized sugar topping looked great. I ordered my mom a chicken vegetable panini and a soup along with a pound cake. When we got the soup, fat was floating and the bread was barely toasted and not even hot. When she opened the panini it had a small piece of chicken and an even tinier piece. We asked for a different soup and they couldn't even tell us if the soup had pork - which my mom is deathly allergic to. When we were planning her baby shower, we decided to use them to cater by ordering a sandwich platter for our guests. We went over the menu and settled on the half-sandwich platter with a mix of Turkey Avocado, Chicken Pesto, and Tomato Mozarella. I requested a noon delivery. The sandwiches arrived a little early (always a big relief) and they included bags of chips, spoons, forks, napkins, and plates. may 31st at around 5:30 pm i had the worst and most horrendous experience at corner bakery with my wife! we often go to get a snack, danish, coffee, cookie or sandwich, but lately it's been getting worse and worse! my wife has to drink her coffee cold and when i tell the cashier she asks if we want it to be heated up in the microwave ‍ i let that one go; but yesterday we were in amood for a pasta carbonara chicken and i got it in less that 60 seconds to my table , completely dry flat no taste chicken pasta was hard and no bacon nor cheese as the menu says it comes with! i had to get up and tell the girl who said " i can bring you some bacon in a cup " ‍ the place was the worst partof!!!! we could not find a place to sit everybtable was filthy crayons on the floors crumbs all over the place so i founf a booty that i though was clean and guess what ???? i looked to the side between the table and the window were disgustingly rotten dirty vrumbs crayons food straws cups lids plastic silverware napkins etc etc etc corner bakery was never like this what is going on withbthe staff and management my wife and i both threw up all night from whatever they gave us and called it pasta whats right is right this is unacceptable read more

I ordered the Turkey Avocado Cobb salad. The description really caught my eye specifically because of the thick cut turkey, fresh ripe tomatoes, and blue cheese crumbles. The turkey was amazing!! The bacon was great, the Avocado dressing is BOMB! However.... it didn't come with any bleu cheese crumbles, and the tomatoes were still a little green, I almost cried and will not be ordering delivery from here again, unfortunately. We waited to eat partly to wait for the pasta but also we assumed she would bring the syrup. Now the sign for the pancakes says it is served with their maple vanilla syrup. About 5 minutes later same lady brings the pasta, says nothing and starts to walk away. I ask if we could have some syrup. She literally says"oh you want that also" and I say yes. She comes back with a small plastic container like a jello shot and hands me the syrup. I ask can we get a little more and she says oh you want it for both orders. I said I thought it came with it so she ask in a very irritated manner "do you want butter too" so I said yes. She brings it out tosses it on the table and leaves. The service here is awesome. The staff here is friendly and fast. They are knowledgeable about the menu and will happily make suggestions if you are unsure about what you want. If they are out of something then they will recommend something just as good or better. They have a manager here named Tammy. She is the best part of this place. She is so friendly. Its like seeing an old friend when I come in. She works so hard too. I have worked in the food industry and you can usually spot the manager because they are the one sitting off to the side while everyone else is doing all the hard work. Not Tammy. She is working just as hard as she expects the other employees to work. She runs a tight ship. She is always there. I have yet to go in and not see Tammy running around helping everyone. Husband got the chilled Swiss oats: packed with apples and currants swirled with yogurt and oatmeal. Served with a piece of sweet bread( think a large cracker with dried cranberry and topped with sugar). Overall an okay experience. I was confused about the fact that the bacon was in the scramble and not a side but upon realizing that I wasn't so confused( blonde moment). We love Corner Bakery and frequently eat there. It's a favorite lunch spot for my husband, my kids, and myself. The food is great and usually consistent. We usually visit the Quarry location which is impeccable! We've recently been to the Stone Oak location a few times which unfortunately is slipping a bit. Yesterday, my husband and I went for a late lunch (at 2:00) and every table in the restaurant (that didn't have a Covid social distancing sign on it) was covered in dishes and food. The restaurant itself was actually dirty. We asked to have one cleaned so we could sit and also mentioned all the dirty tables. There were a few employees behind the counter and the restaurant was close to empty. We were there 45 minutes and they were never cleaned. With so many restaurants enforcing extra cleanliness due to the effects of Covid, this was a bit worry some. read more
