Late entry. Originally went this past Sunday after service. Had been years since we are here. We were expecting great food. This restaurant focuses on seafood. I ordered the grilled salmon which is suppose to come with capers. I requested no capers. I was still expecting a nice grilled salmon. The salmon literally had no seasoning & was not cooked thoroughly. Returned the salmon for more cooking time. If it wasn't for the excellent guacamole, the lunch would have been the worse. The guac saved the meal. The beef skirt was mediocre. If you are looking for average food, this is the place. read more

Food: Went there on at lunchtime on a Tues. which has all day Happy Hour(as well as on Mondays). Ordered the Tuna Carpaccio HH price & the standard, mouth-watering chunky & shareable Guacamole Costa which is always a hit! The Carpaccio was tender, flavorful with the oil & soy & paired with the Guac Costa piled on top of Tostadita round, it was healthy & satisfying. A bit of the lime sauce that the Guac Costa sits on adds another lemony tang to the soy-saucey Tuna. A $2.99 glass of Mimosa finished it off. Afterwards, got to share a very moist Tres Leches cake slice & Crepes A La Mode with Cajeta Sauce. Service: Adequate young waiter but had to flag him a couple of times to fill our glasses with iced water. Surprised my friend with the Tres Leches cake slice so we were appreciative. Amenities: Women's bathroom didn't have toilet paper nor soap. Told the waiter but it should've been checked upon in the morning. Just a QC thing you'd think?? Outside hand sanitizer dispenser was empty as well. I'm a regular so I'll be back for the same food selections as long as the food quality is consistently fresh, I'll be back. Not sure why this place has even one negative review?! This place is amazing, you have to check it out. We've become regulars! Humberto is our favorite server, he's personable, friendly, and knowledgeable. It's a must to come in for happy hour all day mondays and tuesdays. We have never had to wait for a table during the day. We always grab a bucket of beer and the jalapeño ceviche. I always say I'm going to take pictures but the food is so good I forget every time. This place is one of our favorite restaurants since we moved to San Antonio. My son loves the fish nuggets and the chips. I love the tampiqueña skirt stake and the beans! The empanadas are also delicious, we always order at least two as starters. The service is excellent, the environment is also nice and perfect to be with the family. It was our first time going there. It was AMAZING 11 out of 10! Great Mexican seafood, excellent drinks, and amazing service! Our server was always checking up on us to make sure we had all we needed. The live music was great we enjoyed every song and instrumental played. The staff is very friendly and work as a team. Servers are always attentive to guests. Not one bad thing about this place great ambiance not too loud not too quiet. Best at night! This restaurant claims to close at 10:00 pm however I showed up on 07/19/21 at 8:45 pm for dinner and I was turned away because they were "closed". Tonight 08/09/21 I show up at 8:45 pm and was told they were closed for "cleaning". This is ridiculous! They should officially announce that the restaurant closes at 8:45 pm. This would have saved me a 45 minute drive (twice) only to be turned away. Costa Pacífica needs to do better. :-( read more

Holy crap. I had this delivered via Uber eats, I had the Chicharron de Rib Eye and Marinero Rice. Let me just say. It was all absolutely amazing! I loved the salsa it came with, the chicharron's were perfect even for being delivered, they didn't get soggy with is a huge the Marinero rice... lord have mercy. It was so flavorful and just amazing. I can't even think of more descriptors to make this sound better. But damn. So freaking good. I look forward to trying more! read more

My no-brainer, go-to place for weeknight dinners with my bae and celebrations like my birthday last night! Great food, but above all, excellent service and attention to detail. Went here today for the first time with a good friend of mine! It was her first time too! Look at the reviews ahead of time and the menu. Also know of a few people who had been here a couple times. Showed up around 6 ish had to wait for about 15 mins wasn't too bad, nice and cool outside. Then we sat on the patio, was kind of in a intersection but didn't really seem to be an issue. Our server was Mary Ann ( sorry if I spelled you name wrong)! Mary Ann was awesome, great service and helpful. Very friendly and would ask for her again! The house margarita was okay, kind of watery but the shot specials on happy hour were bomb! I had the tuna on happy hour and wish I had more, also the chips and hot sauce they brought to you was great. Mary Ann even kept up with our water glasses and seeing if we needed any help. I would def recommend coming on a night they have music and sitting on the patio. Drinking a drink when the weather cools down here in San Antonio. I had shrimp del indio. It's shrimp wrapped in bacon and stuffed with cheese. It sounds delicious but unfortunaley they topped it with some tomato paste that ruined the entire thing. I also had strawberry lemonade, it was very sweet so I had to dilute it with water. The Restaurant itself is nice, service was good but I was expecting more from the dishes to be honest. The bathroom was NOT nice, it needs some deep cleaning and most importantly the toilet paper should never be placed on the floor ...yikes! It was so bad that the people who were after us on the waitlist received service before us! The only way I can describe this place is Cutting Edge. Beautiful decor, classy, looks like artist designed. The wait staff is very professional and polite and everyone in the restaurant takes care of you, including the owner, Moris! I had the shrimp Tiki Tiki. Horrible place horrible service horrible management! First of all I went during happy hour for the happy hour margaritas and the not so bright waitress, to say the least, put my last margarita I usually get in before happy hour ends, 15 minutes after I asked her - because happy hour was ending! And guess what. Happy hour ended and there computer is 10 minutes early supposedly so charged me regular price. Anyways instead of correcting it with management for the price difference she said , I'm sorry and walked away. THEN, I looked at my bill and saw how she charged me for a kids beverage that came with the kids meal, so I thought. Well she said no we charge for lemonade. If I wasn't so irritated with her I wouldn't have mind paying for the lemonade but she was such a bee eye tee see achhh. She took it to the manager and even he couldn't fix the problem so you know what I won't be returning ! Too many mistakes I had to pay because of this idiot waitress and maanger on duty. I've been here quite a few times. Usually during the weekdays when I have off since I'm in the service industry as well. I had the absolute worse service tonight. I sat at the bar by myself and the bartender and bar back were so inattentive. I ordered a drink when I sat down with an appetizer. The beer was good the appetizer was great as usual. But this bartender and bar back kept sucking up to the gentlemen next to me wearing a fancy suit and I received zero attention after that. I wanted a full meal and a couple drinks. After sitting there for a half hour with an empty drink and empty appetizer I just gave up and decided to close out and leave. Hope the fancy suit guy was worth the money.
