Everyone needs their own nearby go-to pizza joint. I've been on the look out for mine for too long considering there's a several competitors in my area. I realized I've been sleeping on Cottage Inn pizza! Seriously, wake up folks! Let me straight out say that Cottage Inn has the best deals on their website out of all the pizza spots in my area, which I absolutely utilized. I seriously sat down on my computer, pulled up different menus on different tabs, and compared them & did the math to figure this out. Best part is that you don't have to use 1 deal per transaction. I paid $15.99 for 1 large Pepp Pizza with bread-sticks and garlic cream cheese, which was awesome! I also used their $21.99 for 2 Large 2 Topping pizza deal. I customized both pizzas to my liking, so it ended up being $32.99 (about $16.50 per pizza) for both of them but I seriously made these the best pizzas I've had ever! Like reference my pictures and tell me those aren't scrumptious looking! The first one I built with Bacon and Grilled Chicken with a Pesto Drizzle and Garlic Parmesan crust. The second one I made was Hawaiian themed with Bacon, Ham, Black Olives, Pineapple, Red Onions with Everything crust and Tangy Gold drizzle (I had to pay a little bit extra for the additional toppings since deal was supposed to be for only 2 toppings). Both pizzas tasted like a specialty pizza (typically $18.99), except they cost me way less due to the amazing deals! I'm not even at the best part yet; THEY HAVE APPLE-PIE PIZZA. For $7.99, you literally get an apple pizza! We have been on a pizza hunt for a while and tried many local pizza shops and wasn't having much luck finding a great pizza. Our first experience wasn't any good, but they made it right, and now we go here all the time for pizza & breadsticks. Taste: Crust - The regular crust is good, and the thin is even better. It's cracker thin and they cut it into squares, awesome! Sauce - it's quality, well-seasoned, and delicious. Toppings - the toppings are fresh and tasty. They also have seasonings for the crust, be sure to check them out. Our favorite is the Garlic butter Parmesan. Innstix aka bread sticks - nice round sticks, airy, cooked just right, buttery. Innwings- aka chicken wings - they are not that great and would not order them again. We got boneless and they were dry and had too much breading. Salad - they have nice salads with fresh toppings. Very nice! Subs - chicken club - it wasn't that great, I'll pass in the future. Pizza - bbq chicken on regular crust is super delicious. Pepperoni thin crust is awesome. Ham & Pineapple is really good. The all meat pizza thin crust is really good. There are lots more pizzas that we can't wait to try. Online ordering - the website is super easy to use. Cottage Inn is a dime a dozen in Michigan. Having been to Polaris tons of times and even gotten dessert at the Greek next door I never noticed this location. Shame on me, it seems like this and Hilliard are the only in the area and the set up is similar to Hungry Howie's. Only WAY better. For the new everything crust I give 5+ stars for being the best pizza crust ever! I am obsessed with everything bagels, crackers, the more the marrier. It gives so much extra love and flavor to the pizza, it is definetly a fabulous delivery pizza that beats Donatos, Dominos, Pizza Hut, Masseys and so on. Still Papa Johns remains our familys favorite and therefor not quite but close to 5 stars. Its no gourmet but its fast and filling. They have deep dish, hand tossed and thin crust. I got the pricebuster (supreme) deep dish with everything crust and loved it! Loaded with toppings, not auper deep dish, I'd say thick crust and though I usually prefer my pizza round not square, THIS is the way to go. Along with that I had the large salad with italian dressing, also fine at $4.99 The guys got the handtossed, buttered garlic parmesan all meat pizza and it was fine, just not quite as good. I first had Cottage Inn Pizza at a work function several years ago and continued having the pizza with my family. Ironically this was one of the last indoor dining experiences that we had and we remember it fondly based on how nice the lady was talking to us and making our food, doing extra little things for my youngest child. This is absolutely a solid 4 star pizza place, the pizza is good and prices are reasonable. We tried a double meat Italian sub last weekend and it was one of the best subs that I have had. So if I said it was a 4 star pizza place, why did I give them 5 stars? That comes from their stellar sanitary practices in the Covid world we currently struggle to live through. As we waited for our pizza you could tell that they were taking every precaution possible. While making pizza. gloves were on. Went to take money from a customer, gloves were changed. Went back to make food and another glove change. Too many places do not seem to take this pandemic seriously and we respond by not going back. Living in the Polaris area, cottage inn is my go-to for night when I'm too lazy to make dinner and I'm not in the mood for Chinese. I mostly order here for the rewards system and their coupons, but the deep dish pizza here is pretty good. I've also tried the bacon cheeseburger pizza, it's good but it's a bit too much and I can barely finish one piece. I actually enjoy the everything innsticks with the garlic cream cheese and the garlic cheese bread a lot more than I like the pizza. Also, get the apple pizza thing, it's pretty darn good. I usually do pick up, but delivery has been fast for a weekend when I have opted for it. When I go in for pick up everyone is pleasant. My family and I just moved into the Lewis Center area from Cleveland and with it being a Saturday family game night, I was not cooking. So I used Yelp to find local owned pizza places nearby and I stumbled across Cottage Inn Pizza. I ordered the Family Duo (one gourmet pizza and a pizza with one topping) along with an order of wings. Our pick up time was 6:45, my boyfriend said it was ready as soon as he walked in, the establishment was clean and it was very easy to pick up as we paid online. The pizza was really good. Our gourmet pizza was a deluxe (no mushrooms) and the one topping pizza was with bacon. The vegetables were very fresh on our pizza. The crust was nice and fluffy. The wings were very good. Nicely cooked and still juicy on the inside. I thought it was interesting the sauce we picked came on the side and not tossed in the sauce. Nevertheless, the wings were really good. My daughter was skeptical at first because she wanted pizza from "home/Cleveland". She loved it and said I picked out a very good place. I'm glad we found something local we can support! First off, since I've moved into the area I've tried all the nearby pizza joints and this has become my go-to place. They have the BEST sauce, they have an great variety available for toppings, and their delivery is always quick. I really wish I could give them 5 stars, but honestly they're not perfect either. They have a loyalty program that is supposed to be their big selling point. HOWEVER you HAVE to order online to get the loyalty points, and 4 times out of 5 the website is not working. And they won't give you the loyalty points with the phone orders, even if you request it. Additionally, they've forgotten pieces of food that we have ordered on a couple occasions and the pizza has come burnt before (only once though) Again, their pizza is so delicious I would really LOVE to give them 5 stars... but I think they could work on their customer service a bit. read more

Cottage in would be my choice if I was eating pizza all the time. This location is near Polaris, and the hubby and I have gotten both pick up and delivery from here. We use the website for online ordering, and it's very straight forward and simple to use.The menu has a lot of different choices, all of which are pretty darn good. We are big fans of the oven roasted wings. They are so tasty. They are still crispy like normal wings, but they have a much more robust flavor because they don't taste of fryer oil. We are big fans of the Parmesan Garlic sauce, though the husband loves the Spicy Garlic. It's tasty, but a little too spicy for me. We have tried quite a few of the gourmet pizzas - our favorites so far being Chicken Artichoke and Motor City Meatball. The other ones we have tried have been awesome - though we were a bit let down by the Aloha Chicken, it didn't hold up to the other pizzas we've gotten. We prefer the round crust, though we got the deep dish one time and it was amazing, but we were only able to eat about a piece each before we were full, so we tend to go for the regular round crust so we can enjoy more pizza in one sitting. The Innstix are tasty, though I prefer the garlic cheese breads (and variations). I'm not a big bread stick person. We've also had a calzone which was delicious, though in my opinion it needed more cheese. Basically everything we have had has been pretty darn spectacular with a few minor let downs (hence the 4 stars). OK time for an update here. This has been my goto place for delivery Zza here in the far northwoods. While my last four orders from this location have been tasty and well portioned every one has been completely undercooked on the bottom. Different type crusts all the same, while well done on the top, baby butt white on the bottom. Last nights Deep Dish bottom was so undercooked in parts it was like eating uncooked canned dough. C'mon pizzamakers, sending out products without doing quality control just doesn't cut it in my book and for my money. Pop, pop, there goes two stars for me.
