I'm just trying to figure out how difficult it is to read an order and fill it the way it's written. I ordered a 14" Italian sausage/pepperoni with extra cheese. In addition, I ordered garlic cheese bread. I pick up the pizza, get it home, open it up and, the pizza that they prepared for me was a 14" pepperoni only. The garlic cheese bread had very little cheese. The pizza itself was just ok. I have not ordered from Massey's since the Pandemic because of poor management. I'm done!!! read more

It's a bit of a weird place, this Massey's location. That's what I think each time I pick up a pie here. I have yet to eat in but we've picked up a good number of pies here. The first time we came I had to get the bathroom unlocked. I'm guessing things have happened at some point and that's now how it goes here. It doesn't matter that it's a weird place because they (like the other Massey's, franchised or owned) make a SOLID pie. I think that their Ohio/Midwest style pie is the best that I have had. Beats Donatos hands down as well as some CBus pizza institutions that I won't name (but have previously reviewed). I've had quite the time eating pizza around CBus looking for perfect pies. Would I call this one perfect? Nope but they get pretty close! The ovens that they use result is a beautiful bake. Full disclosure: Massey's makes the only Ohio/Midwest thinner crust rectangle cut circle pie that I'll actually eat. read more

I'm a traditionalist. I like my pizza made the old-fashioned way, with dough made of yeast and flour with toppings and sauce and that's that. However, now that I'm on the keto diet, I have had to modify what I eat. My biggest fear in making that dietary change was that I would need to give up all the great things that make living worthwhile. Breads, potatoes and most of all Pizza would be eliminated from my diet. As I sat in my man cave one evening I watched a commercial detailing Massey's cauliflower crust pizza. I immediately dialed my local location and inquired about the cauliflower crust and whether or not it tasted as good as it looked on their commercial. The young lady told me that the pizza was the real deal and that it tasted better than it looked on the commercial. I was still somewhat skeptical but I ordered anyway. I ordered the 10in (it only comes in 10 inch size) and I opted for sausage, pepperoni and mushrooms as toppings. Well, I got the pizza home and opened the box. Wow. Wow. Wow! It looked like the Massey's Pizza I have enjoyed for over 20 years. It smelled like the pizza I have enjoyed for over 20 years and best of all it tasted like the pizza I have enjoyed for over 20 years! The crust was crisp and tasted like...real crust! I never thought I would weep tears of joy over a pizza but let me tell you it was that good! Its ridiculous how good the pizza tasted! It was perfection. So now the keto diet isn't so bad after all. I found the missing link to keto happiness and it is located at my local Massey's pizza shop. Do yourself a favor and make tracks to Massey's- you'll be glad you did! read more

14 people in here, and I have to ask if they will have pizza on the buffet.... seriously? It's a buffet. It's 12:15 pm prime lun h time and I have to ask for a pizza. Corporate needs to monitor their satellite stores. I've eaten Masseys for 30+ years at the Whitehall location. Should have just gone out of my way and eaten there. Added to this on 4/16/2017 I gave it another try only because I was meeting friends there. It all started with a phone call to the place asking about if they sold gift cards. They said yes. So i didnt discourage my buddies from going to this location. I arrived early to get the gift card out of the way before meeting my friends. So I said to the owner I needed a gift card, he responded with, my machine is broken down and I can't issue one.....So I responded with, why didn't you tell me that when I called? What a jerk. Then someone from the crowd yelled from across the room, don't give him any money he doesn't put any pizza out on the buffet. So this is a regular thing with this location. Turns out it's a franchise location. This was a bad idea letting this guy get hold of a Masseys Pizza location. They have wonderful pizza. This location needs shut down, or change the name. He is dragging the good name right through the mud. I will never go back there. I also added more pictures of the amount of people in the store with a picture of the two slices of pizza for 15 other people in the restaurant. And we had to ask for salad as well. What a shame. I haven't been to this Massey's (1951 E. Dublin Granville Rd) in about 2 years. It was old looking but the owner cared enough of his product that he made sure it came out good. Ever since the ownership change, the quality has gone done. I decided to check it out again since I was nearby but wow, I think it has gotten worse. I stopped by for lunch buffet and the whole time I was there, new pizza never came out. The pizza that was already there was old and cold. I waited as long as I could but didn't have enough time to wait. I don't think they cared since they put out 4 pizzas. Sorry owners but I will not come back. If I wanted to eat cold pizza, I could check my own fridge. read more

We ordered the large thin crust pepperoni pizza and the Pizza Deluxe sub. When I first had Masseys it was eleven years ago and I wasn't a fan. However after trying more pizza places I have to say I really liked it. The crust is crisp the pepporonis are ample and the sauce is tomatoey. I could use more sauce and cheese but I really liked it especially with lots of pepporonis and the crisp crust. The sub was loaded with lots of toppings and was very good not excellent one I've had elsewhere but very good. Anyhow now that I realize I do like their offerings I'm going to try more in the near future with my family's blessings! read more

Wow!! What a change I have seen in this Massey's location! The pizza is as amazing as ever... even better actually. They have also added a cauliflower crust pizza to the menu (I hear it is incredible - can't wait to try it). But the changes I'm most impressed with have nothing to do with the food itself. Apparently there are new owners since mid-April 2019... and you can tell THEY CARE! Much cleaner, repairs to the facility abound, the addition of TVs to the dining room! I have never had a pizza from Masseys so we were at Subway and next door was a Masseys and my son wanted pizza so I ordered it online while ordering my food at subway. I went next door to see if the order was done come to find out I ordered from this one that my review is on instead of the one that is next door. So I called to cancel because it was to far from where I was, the associate that answered said he needed to get his manager, I said ok. A man said yes I explained that I ordered at the wrong location and he said what did u order ( a rude tone) I told him a large cheese pizza, he said a extra cheese and I said yes. He says it is ready in 10 min you coming to pick it up. I told him I ordered it from the wrong place, he said where did u want it, I told him where and he said so u want to cancel, I said yes I want to cancel. He tells me that when I ordered online it tells you what the location is, I said I know, then he tells me that they have to many people placing orders and canceling (I have never done this before and I felt bad as it is) but he repeated the part about ordering online with a stern voice which I reacted to by explaining to him I'm not a child, he then got really rude and said I know that I'm below u and your higher blah,blah (he would not let me get a word in) then he said I know you think you are above me, I said no I don't think that (again he wouldn't let me get anything out). Then he says I have said I'm sorry and I have cancel it, that is when I said u are being sarcastic and he then turned it toward me saying I was. At that time I was heated and so was my husband (he wanted the phone) but I was done so I let him finish talking and we both said bye. Massey's is yummy pizza for a good price. Try their lunch buffet, its $7.50 for all you can eat pizza, salad, and pasta, and that includes a soda whether you want it or not. Sometimes they are a bit slow getting pizzas out but they're delicious so you won't mind much. read more

UPDATE - Over the last year or so, all of the regular employees of this location have either left or been fired and the quality of the pizza has taken a significant turn for the worse. Additionally the neighborhood continues to be not the safest place as evidenced by the crowd of teenagers that was hanging outside the door of Massey's on a recent Saturday night. We ordered a large pepperoni pizza with extra cheese and extra sauce. Based on the growing crowd outside the door we briefly checked our pizza left quickly. We got home, the pizza did not have extra cheese or extra sauce. It was dry and terrible. Here is how bad the pizza was... my wife and I and our two daughters always finish a large Massye's pizza. There is never any pizza left. Almost half of the pizza went unfinished and no one ate it as leftovers. We actually threw away Massey's pizza. I've been eating Massey's since the 1980s and that has never, ever happened. Upset by the terrible quality of the pizza we attempted to contact Massey's. Calls to the store manager and Facebook posts by my wife have been ignored. For good pizza and for your personal safety I strongly recommend avoiding this location. We will drive down the road to Gahanna the next time we want Massey's pizza. read more

I have not had this pizza for few years. I used to order regularly back then. I ordered online. Pizza was fine , did not seem to taste as good back then. Couple weeks later on way from work I ordered online again to see if last time was an off day. I get there and cannot understand the foreign kid. An adult came up and said they called to confirm my order because of wasted food. No problem. They did not leave a voice mail. I do not answer unfamiliar calls and check voice mails. Since no message I had no idea they called.I told the guy his and I had ordered online couple weeks ago. My pizza was not made. My previous order should have been in the computer as a customer like other pizza stores. I did not know they were franchised. I wont go back. I will keep ordering Eagles after work and drive a little out of the way or other pizza stores if I am near. read more

Our family had heard how wonderful the pizzas were at Massey's, so we decided to give it a try. Our order consisted of a pepperoni/banana peppers cauliflower crust pizza, a regular crust pepperoni pizza, and a regular crust Italian sausage/ham pizza. The cauliflower crust was rock hard. Not what I was expecting. The employee could hardly even cut through it when cutting it into pieces. Not impressed so we won't be getting this again. The other two regular crust pizzas were just okey. This crust was also too hard for our liking and the taste lacking. Not impressed so we won't be getting this again. By far the best pizza I have ever had. I used to be a fan of Donatos because I prefer a thin & crispy crust, but Massey's tops Donatos by far. Their cheese & sauce is amazing & the crust is perfect! I particularly LOVE their BLT pizza & I always get my regular (pepperoni, mushroom, & banana pepper). My dad lives in Florida now & when he comes home he would always request Donatos, but now he is a Massey's guy ever since I put him on to their pizza.
