It struck me as kind of a noisy biker bar kind of place - which is certainly not a bad thing in and of itself, but just, as I say, not the kind of place I think of when I want to go hang out somewhere. But it's closed and reopened two or three times over the years, and in its current iteration it seems much more agreeable to me than it has in the past. The three or so times I've been in there since it last reopened I've found it quiet (even when busy), with friendly staff and customers alike, and an overall not-unpleasant place to spend some time. The food is good, simple fare in ample quantities and the atmosphere is pleasant. I don't feel like I'm anywhere near as good as I used to be at coming up with catchy and conclusive conclusions to my reviews. So I think this is going to be another one that ends a little awkwardly. :P
