Another great breakfast spot in San Diego! Service was quick, people were kind and seemed really happy at work. I like when people look like they enjoy working. It was clean and cute decor. I enjoyed my waffle and bacon. I can go with no eggs next time. I'm not in the area often but I'd go again if out there. Prices are fair and food is good.

Always a delicious delight, huge menu and parking. Terrific price point, very fair and reasonable. Staff is friendly and they all work the room, they all help you.

I reallyy wanted to like this place more. The food looked good when it came out, but everything was pretty dry. My waffle looked amazing in the moment, but it ended up being dry and the Oreo pieces were stale. The sausage was also dry. The eggs were the only thing I really liked. They were just simple over medium eggs and they were cooked fine. The vibe is super casual and feels like a classic little diner. The service was honestly the best part. It feels like a family owned spot and they kept checking on us which was really nice. Overall it was alright. Not terrible but not something I'd rush back to. The service was great but the food just didn't hit.

Man! We stumbled across this place after dropping our kiddo off at school and it was a pleasant surprise! The hangover was fresh, gravy was amazing and homemade. My wife had the strawberry waffle and she said the strawberries were fresh and tasteful and the whip cream was definitely homemade. Our server was funny and definitely personable! We will for sure be back to try more!

we have came here several times I come to San Diego Once a month and this is by far my most favorite place to eat came with 16 family members at Christmas time just to share with them. The food came this morning and was waited on by Victor another lovely Server such a great family establishment.

Their waffles and pancakes were delicious! Shout out to their amazing staff as well. They were so welcoming and each and everyone one of them made sure to always check in with our table- whether it be asking if we want refills on coffee, taking empty plates, and any other needs we had. Definitely recommend!

The service was friendly and the coffee promptly refilled. The food served hot and so quickly that I took my time to enjoy my breakfast experience. Similar service at the other location called Kamilas in Clairemont Mesa. I'll come back to both when craving breakfast.

Country Waffles is always reliable for breakfast or brunch, with different specials, open lot parking, and an extensive menu. They offer meatless options, ADA friendly entrances and both booth and tables. The staff is always friendly and prompt with coffee refills and service. Most menu items have calories listed, and the portions are generous. Their cinnamon roll french toast, burritos, and breakfast combos in particular are well made.

Stopped by here for breakfast one morning. The waffle was light and fluffy and the Oreos added a nice crunch and sweetness! The fried chicken was tasty but could have used a bit more seasoning, but still delicious. The cinnamon roll French toast was also amazing. Everyone was very kind. Our server was very polite and attentive and the atmosphere was lively. Definitely recommend this spot

I am traveling from out of town. We have this place a try for a late breakfast. The service was excellent. The staff came by constantly asking to refill our drinks. The service was exceptional and friendly. The breakfast was okay. The hollandaise sauce was a little thick and a dark yellow in color . I had first thought it was melted jack cheese. i don't know if it was home made. My wife had the apple cinnamon waffles and they were very good. I wish I had ordered the waffles instead.

Wow, really yummy! We stopped in just before noon on a Monday. Hubs wanted b'fast, I was leaning towards lunch. We each chose an item marked on their menu as "Award Winning". He went with the Croissant Breakfast Sandwich that has your choice of ham or turkey, eggs and cheese, layered in a fluffy croissant and accompanied with a choice of home style potatoes or fruit. He declared it a hearty YUM! I chose the Strawberry Spinach Salad with chicken, chopped pecans, blue cheese, avocado and red onion and raspberry vinaigrette. WOW!!! So much flavor and I can see how this dish would be award winning indeed. It came with 2 slices of Texas Toast and was fantastic! Service was friendly and efficient, checked in regularly and constantly moving about with smiles. The restaurant itself is a large, open space with plenty of seating we noticed a group of 11 when we walked in, and another group of 11 was seated just before we left. So large groups are welcome! Plenty of parking, but there are many businesses in this mall, so we did have to take a moment before we found an open spot. I would definitely return for this salad when in the area again. Cheers! Once seated, though, we sat for about 20 minutes without anyone acknowledging us. I eventually had to flag someone down just to get water. We then waited even longer for our server to take our order. Because service was so slow, I ordered all of our drinks and food at once since I wasn't sure when we'd see our server again. What stood out even more was watching a couple seated next to us receive immediate attention. They were greeted, served water right away, and the woman was offered a purse hook. Meanwhile, we were sitting there with our purses shoved beside us and weren't offered the same courtesy. It may seem like a small detail, but combined with the lack of attention, it made us feel overlooked. The drinks came out quickly, and the chicken satay and mac and cheese were decent. Nothing was bad, but nothing really stood out food-wise either. The highlight of the evening was definitely the live music. The performers were fantastic and created a great atmosphere that honestly was the only enjoyable part of the evening.

It's got the decor, chairs, and art to match. Jessica was our server and she was amazing! She gave us lots of suggestions on what to try and what is on the menu since it was my first time here. She recommended the bloody Mary flight so did grab that to try! We also ordered the biscuits and gravy to share and orange juice. The portions are so large! So I am glad we decided to share the biscuits and gravy but let me run down each thing. Bloody Mary Flight: Honestly every single one was amazing. My favorite was definitely the pickle Mary! Everything tasted so delicious and was garnished beautifully. Well worth the 22 dollars. Biscuits and Gravy: Absolute perfection of comfort food. The biscuits were so fluffy and well seasoned. The gravy was also soooo good, just like my mom makes. The sausage in it was also cooked so well and juicy. I've never tried mashed potatoes with the biscuits and gravy but it worked very well! Orange Juice: Not a fan really, not pulpy enough and I wasn't a fan of the flavor. Overall this is definitely a must visit! I will definitely be back.

The parking is get in where you can fit in on the street but it wasn't difficult. They have indoor and outdoor seating in the back. Our server Ulises was great which he immediately greeted us and was very attentive even with the Father's Day crowd. I decided to try the rib and eggs and I have to admit, I was very happy with my choice. The ribs were lightly sauced with a thin sauce that worked well. The meat was tender and had great flavor. I just didn't like the grass they put on top!lol The eggs were okay. I added cheese but I barely had any compared to my friends. The cantaloupe was a nice sweet treat afterwards. I tried my friend's meal and they were also good which they also enjoyed their meals overall. I also tried a one of the Bloody Mary flights which was the only tequila shot with pork skin on top. I do not like savory and spicy drinks but that particular shot was decent and was hot sauce for the pork skin. Overall, the experience was nice and the food was good especially for the value.
