So after failing inspection I got new break pads and rotors fir the way overpriced cost of $1200. I was giver a free oil change and told to call this morning and they would get it done. After calling that changed to drop you car off all day since its 'not fair to do it on an appointment????'. Never ever using this place again. I had a disappointing experience here during a recent inspection. I was told there was an issue with my headlights, and it was explained using technical language that made it sound like an electrical problem. When I asked more questions, it turned out the issue was simply that the headlights needed to be polished. I was quoted $185 for this, and it was presented as a good deal since I was "only being charged for labor." That didn't sit right with me, so I got a second opinion. A mechanic I trust polished the headlights, and the car passed inspection the very next day with no issues. To make matters worse, my mother-in-law went there today and was pressured to spend about $200 to fix her seat, only to find out afterward that nothing was actually wrong with it. Countryside Service Service at 1 Pidgeon Hill Dr. is a JOKE! I've been trying to have my car inspected for the safety inspection to no avail. I've been there THREE TIMES in a row (Friday 3rd, Monday 6th and Tuesday 7th) at around 6:30 a.m. to be either the first one or the second since I work early and the place has NEVER opened at 7:00 a.m. as it states in TWO different signs and locations (the one right on the check-in office door inside the 7/11 and one outside in RED! (there is a very old one that used to have 8:00 a.m which you can't even seen). I've waited until 7:15 a.m. and I've see no intention of opening the place on time. Change the start time for inspections if you don't want to open at 7:00 a.m.!! I live close by and I will never go there anymore for any of the inspections, nor my wife, or my daughter will go there never again. That's a promise! We had already stopped bringing our car there for miscelaneous repairs in the past. So now, they'll get nothing from us. A total joke! (By the way, in the past, they have not been the best customer service oriented either, with bad attitudes and forget about prices for repairs...). Good luck! read more

The Sunoco at Countryside has declined significantly in the past few years. The new mechanics are lazy and the office manager is always trying to overcharge. We took our car there recently to get the tire plugged and the mechanics were playing XBox and said it would be too hard to to get the car on the lift - none of them got up from the XBox to even say this in a professional way. On another occasion, the office manager wanted to charge $3500 for new brakes, two tires, and an alignment. When we pushed on the astronomical price, she instantly took off $1,000 if we did the service that day. This was a huge red flag. She also said "I can't let you leave with your car, it's way too dangerous. If you were my child, I wouldn't let you drive it." She said the exact same thing to a few neighbors we have talked to. All in all, they are shady to say the least as well as lazy and unhelpful. Whoever the owner is, needs to know about this and make some serious changes! read more

Should've read the reviews here instead of Groupon. Sure enough similar experience to all of those- confusing communication between the front lady and the mechanics. Whe the inspection itself was quick however miscommunication between the front desk and the mechanics added an extra 1.5 hours to my wait. Save yourself some trouble - just talk to the mechs directly and not try to go thru front desk at all. read more

This is the highest quality oil change I've had in a really long time. I actually found this on Groupon but don't buy the Groupon because if you go there , they'll give you the Groupon deal on its own. There was a nice lady in there who helped out. It's funny because the oil is quite cheap as well. It comes with a tire rotation but you can swap that out if you need a few extra liters of oil. Highly recommend this place, great quality and good service. The other oil changes I've done in this area were god-awful so come here read more

This place is absolutely horrible and Lena is a complete scam artist. Let me start by saying my fiancé brought his car in two weeks ago to get it fixed as it was not accelerating fast forward they fix the car and the total is $1766.86 now mind you he needed new tires but we were unable to get them at the time even though she pressured us to do but we stood firm and explained was not in our budget. now fast forward to January 31st the car stop accelerating again so my fiancé called ahead explained same thing happened she said to bring car in and they will look at it that the work was under warranty . So the car gets towed in and then we get a call today February 4th saying one of the tires was blown out during a test drive and will he be purchasing two or four tires. He explained he would not be paying for a tire due to the shop being the one who blew it out and he would come over to speak in person. A few hours later my fiancé and I went over and this is when things went from bad to worse! Once we arrived she said that we could work it out and she wanted us to look at the tire I said no thank you we are on a time crunch and are here to figure out a solution since your people popped the tire and we know he needs new tires but we brought it in due to the acceleration not working again. She then said they never moved the car and when I questioned how it popped then she said they actually test drives it. Ultimately she just kept saying different stories. So we go outside, again I proceed to say are you paying for the tire and she said no so I said okay I'm going to call the police then as you damaged the car and refusing to fix it and immediately she said I'm refusing service and went into the garage to tell the servicemen and they said well call the police I said perfect I'll be waiting. I then called my sister to be there for me as I could see Lena was escalating. To wrap this story up the police came and Were amazing and let us know Lena lied and said I called my sister to attack her which everything is on camera that was NEVER said I had her there as a witness. She also told me I was going to get charged with trespassing even though my car was being serviced and she had my key! Lol. Ultimately they ripped us off and we paid almost 1,800 just for the car to break down a few days later it's the same issue. And instead of doing the right thing and fixing the tire and car she decided to give us a future trespassing notice so we couldn't get our car fixed. Please be aware this lady is a liar and had I not had a witness was falsely accused of "planning to attack her". Bad business and bad customer service. Please be aware of this woman and her tactics and falsely accused people of crimes. Bought a Groupon. I called to see how it worked for their station. The lady was very short and said it's first come first serve and it would be explained when you get there. I then went on 2 different occasions to get the service done and was given different reasons why the car would take an extensive time to get done. At the time I noticed no cars in the docks. On May 04, 2025, I visited Countryside Service Center today for a safety and emissions inspection, bringing with me a Groupon coupon that I recently purchased (valid until August 26, 2025). After completing the service, I was directed to speak with a sales representative who seemed confused about how to process my Groupon. What followed was frustrating and unprofessional. The staff argued amongst themselves about how to apply the coupon--something they had previously accepted without issue. Eventually, they called their manager and after some time claimed they were "no longer accepting Groupon" coupons, showing me a printed page as proof. This raises an important question: Why is Countryside Service Center still actively selling Groupons if they have no intention of honoring them? This feels like a bait-and-switch tactic and shows complete disregard for customers who purchased their services in good faith. I've used their services before without any problems, but this experience has seriously damaged my trust in their business practices. This place is the cheapest around for a reason. They will mess your car up and then act like you were being the difficult one. They couldn't diagnose the issue with my tire, which ended up being a simple nail, and then in putting the tire back on, they broke the arm that holds the tire (which is not the axel). So I went for a simple tire repair and oil change. I left needing an alignment and to replace the arm holding the tire. Went to spend around $80, left with $1000 of replacements needed. I understand things can happen, but i'm leaving this review because my car is new. The only issue was that i may have had was a nail in my tire (which they didn't find) but another repair shop did. Edit: I notice a lot of people mentioning it so I will also say the "manager", really just a receptionist, has a HORRIBLE attitude. It's very clear she does not want to be there, OR she loves being there to make people's lives difficult. Really this is an all around shitty place. read more

Got an oil change and tire rotation late November 2023. Bought new tires late December 2023 and was told that Countrywide messed up the threads on a lug nut. Went back to Countywide and explained and they were very helpful both Lena and Chris. Chris explained why it was not them that put lug back on wrong and yet he still went ahead and fixed the problem at no cost. They were both listened and were easy to deal with. I personally thought my concerns would not be addressed and yet my concerns. Big service from a small shop. read more

I'm a very good mechanic myself having worked at multiple car dealerships. These days I work in a different industry, And take my car to be serviced If it's something required in my car to be lifted in the air or Something were fluid may spill. I went to countryside Service center for an oil change and tire rotation. Knowing what goes on I secretly marked my tires before taking it in. Upon getting my car back, the tires had not been rotated! I complained, and the car was given back to the tech, Eric, to complete the job which they said had been done but had not. I then asked Eric to show me the new oil filter once he got the car in the air on the rack. He then took it into the bay, closed the door, and it was 15 minutes before he opened the door to show me the new filter! He hadn't changed the filter either. My oil STILL looks dirty on the dipstick today! Also, listening to the service writer talk to customers on the phone, she is a total scam artist! Avoid this place! read more
