Good selection of all the Asian fruits, vegetables, seasoning packets, noodles, etc. that you can't find in the usual tiny section at regular grocery stores. Every time I'm feeling adventurous enough to try a new recipe from a vietnamese or thai restaurant that I've gone to, they usually have all of the ingredients that I need to whip the dish together. In fact, the only thing I haven't been able to find there are wide flat rice noodles. The meat/seafood department is also large with lots of fresh fish and crabs to choose from. Check out specials on $1 oysters and catch em' before they're gone! If you're crunched for time and just wanna grab some hot food to-go, they also have a wide selection of chinese food/dim sum to the left of the entrance that are served cafeteria-style. read more

I had a coworker/friend share about this place with me and I have to say I like it a LOT more than the asian market near my own home. Ill be coming here a lot more. They had many things that my own store was lacking and there was a lot of variety to choose from. I am in absolute heaven with the ramen selection.. AND THEY HAD FISH CAKE. I was practically drooling over the many different flavors of ramune as well. Living in a bigger Asian population for years I had access to the best seafood and groceries, but when I moved to Fairfield I was dismayed at the selection here until I found this grocery store in Vacaville. This is now my go to Asian grocery store in Solano County...the best seafood, meats, and fresh produce selection. Crab for $5.99 a pound and $0.99 per an oyster - I'm in heaven. They have vast selection of Asian greens and exotic fruits like jackfruit and lychees. They also have catering and dim sum to go which is yummy. I've only dined once there but it's palatable and price is great as are portions. One con is though - meat department clerks are slow...you'll be waiting a good minute for service. Overall nothing to dissuade me from being a loyal customer. Parking is ample and location is great right off the highway. read more

My mom & I come here before hitting up Costco. My mom loves this place. She goes here to buy "fun" to Chow fun...yummms. I also like their fat selection of seaweed & I looove seaweed. I used to have to go out to SF market in SAC to get seaweed, but now I can jst run out here. There's always some kinda sale going on around the store. They once had a sale, 3 for $.99 panda w/ chocolate cookies. Gosh whadda steal. Great Place for your asian shopping needs. Today my mom asked me if I wanted to go to the Filipino store with her... While I was growing up in Vacaville, the Filipino store was usually a hole in the wall shop... I really was not expecting such a huge market! The best part of the visit was the discovery of some amazing faux meats in their frozen food aisle! They had a wide variety of groceries available. I specifically went in for canned jackfruit and they had that and many more varieties that I hadn't seen in my local grocery stores. I spent longer in the grocery store browsing different spices, desserts and ingredients. The prepared food section smelled and looked so good too. Spacious, clean, friendly staff. It's the only Asian grocery place in the area as well, but it's a good one. I've been to the other County Square towards San Francisco somewhere, but that one was a lot more confusing and didn't seem as clean as this one. Produce is fresh, well-organized, and you can get almost everything you need. Seafood selection is small, but everything is laid out so you can see what things are. They also have a bread and pastry section as well as a little section for cold cakes, desserts, and the like. Mix of Japanese, Chinese, Filipino, and even German pastries and desserts. The hot food section is delicious. I've had nearly everything they have to offer. It's now self-serve with a lady always on standby for help. Prices for portions are reasonable. read more

The fry fish process is so dumb. Why do you have to go to front cashier to pay then go to deli? First off you should be able to pay at deli. Today they got my fish fry order mixed up and gave my fish away to someone else and I got someone else's. It was 2 tilapias so it worked out. They don't pay attention and when I bought an already made tilapia at deli I got home and it wasn't cooked all the way! Blahhh! I can't go back and replace it! Fail! Had to throw it away....gross! Great place to go for any of your Asian needs. Very similar to 99 Ranch Market. They have a deli that caters with cheap prices and a great seafood section. We've purchased lobster, crab, shrimp, and crawfish all at a great price. Yesterday the crab was $4.99 per lbs, but I've seen it as cheap as $2.99 during Christmas. Overall a great store. Frequent this place many times. Oh and they give like a 10% Military discount. read more

You all have to try their Japanese sweet bean buns! Taste of happiness! This store is a little small and kind of lack a lot of asian fresh veggie produce, but it'll do. Their veggies are really fresh compared to Seafood City's in Vallejo. Meat is a bit expensive. I'd rather buy at Winco Foods. But I am very happy that they have live crabs, oysters, and manila clams. Although, it would be nicer if they have female crabs and lower pricing for live seafood. Overall, this is a good store to go to if you suddenly crave or need to buy something asian. What an oasis of Asian delights in Vacaville between Sacramento and Oakland! A large store with a great selection of Chinese, Japanese, Filipino, Vietnamese and etc groceries! A huge fresh seafood and meat counter staffed with actual people to help you - so unlike the big chain stores of today. I also love the fresh Dim Sum at the deli! The only Asian market from West Sacrament to Fairfield. It's small compared to supermarkets like 99 Ranch Market, but it's better than nothing when you don't want to drive in Sacramento. This place is convenient for me to swing by after work to pick up a few things that I can't find in American supermarkets. They have some asian vegetables, hot deli items (dim sum, roasted duck, chicken), asian noodles, meats, fried fish, etc. For hot deli items you have to come before 6pm or else they might sell out, then food items are BOGO after 7PM. I would also go to Costco on my grocery route because it's an exit away. I'm glad this place exist because I can't live without my Asian grocery options! Accepts credit cards. Generally I don't run into any problems here. Today, I unloaded my groceries into the trunk, got my baby out of the cart, quickly put her in the car so I can put the cart up on the curb before buckling her (instead of leaving it in the street) and within 10 seconds, I kid you not, the older man with glasses came at me from behind while I was buckling her in (I thought someone was trying to get into my car) and yelled at me for leaving the cart on the curb in between the county square building and the church building. Now, let me mention, I always put carts back and was going to put this one back after my baby was buckled in and I understand where he was coming from because he was doing the cart collecting. I was so startled and shocked I snapped back and said I need to buckle my baby in, can you back up and let me buckle my baby in?? He had the nerve to stare all up in my car!! Also, he had his mask pulled down while he was communicating even though I was backing up, he was coming closer. Then, he was staring at me for the few minutes after the incident. I'm so grateful to have this Asian grocery store here in Vacaville. It's got all the Filipino staples I need to make sinigang, adobo, pancit, lumpia, etc. They have a pretty good selection of Asian vegetables and there's usually someone walking around asking if you need assistance with anything. The store is open all year long- even holidays which is nice for last minute store runs (it does suck for the employees!) I especially like that you can order a hot plate of food or dim sum just like at 99 Ranch, but better tasting. They will also clean and fry fish for you, I believe it's $1 per fish. The cashiers at check-out are always really friendly and get me out quickly. Don't forget to bring your reusable bags. If you do forget, you can get a nice, thick reusable bag for $0.10 read more

This place is amazing!!! I live in Davis and I'm originally from the bay, so it was a little hard adjusting to the limited availability of Asian supermarkets. This place literally has everything that I need to make my usual assortment of Chinese and Vietnamese dishes. The prices are also a lot more wallet friendly than options in Davis. There is a section in here that sells hot foods and I would rate the food as 3.5/5, but the fact that it's located inside here makes it super convenient and the service was wonderful. The location is also a plus- only 4 minutes from Costco and 6 minutes from the Vacaville outlets so I can knock out all my shopping needs for the week in one go. read more

I have been shopping at County Square Market for nine years. Some of the reasons I keep coming back here are the fresh produce, a wide range of products from food to kitchen goods, and most of all, the friendly staff. With that said, I was yelled at by an employee today while doing my grocery shopping. I went in at around 7:30 pm, 30 mins before their closing time. I had to rush because they usually start to cover up all the produce at around 7:45 pm. A middle aged employee was mopping in front of the aisle that I needed to get to. Assuming that it was ok to walk over the area where she had just cleaned, I walked on it and said "please excuse me". Before I could finish my sentence, she yelled at me : "You can walk this way!" while pointing behind the aisle she was blocking, signaling me to walk around the area. I apologized to her, turned back and walked around the aisle. I knew it was partly my fault but I still felt pretty shaken up as I had never been yelled at as a customer. I have always been considerate while shopping there, always putting shopping carts neatly back to where they belong. I'll still continue to shop there because the rest of their staff are super helpful and friendly, but if I do encounter her in the future, I'd always be reminded of the treatment that I received today. read more
