    Frosty mug and a beer

We met some Friends at cover three for some cocktails. The drinks were good and the pint mugs were frosty cold for the beers. I had a piece of key lime pie. It was huge and delicious. The staff were nice and friendly. I enjoyed our evening. The football games were on all the tvs.

Needed a quick bite to eat before leaving town. Nice setup with outdoor seating, plenty of indoor seating, and lots of TVs for sports. Got a stuffed avocado for appetizer, not quite what I expected, but very good and filling. Table ordered sliders and wings. Everybody was pleasantly surprised with the meal. Would come back especially if games are on.

Wonderful experience! Delicious food & kind, timely service. Even though it was the Sunday of a busy holiday memorial weekend, Alyssa went over & beyond to make sure we were taken care of!

I don't know of this counts but I've loved this place for 11+ years and I've never been disappointed! Sitting at the bar having a cold margarita, laughing with new friends we've made and Dorothy! Trace, Courtney, everyone! The I still order the Caesar Salad and Mark gets the "Best Onion Soup in Austin" as he proclaims! UT football watch parties are epic!

This is such a good spot for any type of dinner plans. I really enjoyed the sports bar atmosphere and the dim lighting. Our server was incredibly helpful and definitely helped us picked really good choices for our meals. We got the Hong Kong Salmon and the Blackened Chicken and Shrimp Pasta. I absolutely love the flavors of the Hong Kong Salmon as it was a mix of sweet and tangy. The salmon was cooked throughly and the mushrooms and spinach added a great addition. The pasta was really tasty as well, I love the balance of both chicken and shrimp, i'm usually not a fan of angel hair like noodles, but these were really tasty. I'd love to make my way back for another dinner date, I'll definitely recommend especially for those who are looking to have an enjoyable dinner minus the insane prices at more upscale restaurants!

Solid happy hour specials here. Great food and drink options between $4-$8. Spacious venue with two floors and an outdoor patio. Tons of TVs for sports fans. I personally recommend the deviled eggs, stuffed avocado and poblano pork tacos.

Cover 3 is the best place for a delicious brunch and to celebrate a birthday. The atmosphere is very relaxing and inviting. The servers are friendly and attentive. The mimosas are fabulous! They have a large variety and are generous with the offerings from fresh fruit to gummy bears. Plus my eggs were cooked to perfection. The potatoes were seasoned well and the bacon was crispy. They even helped us celebrate the birthdays in my group by providing delicious desserts. Can't wait to visit again.!!

Went for a dinner with a group of friends. The atmosphere was friendly. It took some time to get drinks and food. We had calamari and fried pickles for appetizers. The fry on both of those were good and the pickles had a hint of heat that was a good touch. I had the Mahi Mahi tacos for dinner. The cook was very nice and fish was moist. The flavor was lacking a bit bland. Seasoning and a touch of heat would have improved the taco. Plenty of tvs and a great place to watch the games. We watched the UT women's final four.

Went for lunch, restaurant wasn't too crowded, but for some reason the wait for food was very long. Ordered an appetizer (nachos) and after waiting 45 mins we decided to leave. The bartender did apologize once we finally inquired about our appetizer and let us know that there was a large gathering in the back that put them behind. A manager did come out right before leaving as well. We went at a really hungry time and expected better service. The drink was good tho. Sucks to have a good drink on an empty stomach.

Social hour is my favorite! Yummy snacks and cheap drinks, also the bartender Trace served me and he was really awesome !

We came here between visiting Dragon's Lair and a dinner at Lonesome Dove to kill time, have some drinks, and just banter. The place was clean, the waitstaff was attentive without being overbearing. We just had drinks do no comment on the food, the drinks were solid and not too expensive. SHANA SAYS: My family and I visited Cover 3 recently just to kill time. We had a free hour before dinner reservations at Lonesome Dove, so we stopped in for a drink. Liked the ambiance. It's comfy and clean. Plenty of TV's all playing the Olympics. Drinks were good and reasonably priced. I had an espresso martini. It was a solid B Minus. Nothing flashy but tasty. Which about mirrors what I thought. A solid place, efficient and a good place to stop, have a drink, watch sports and hang out. The stars were tough as we didn't really stay long so get a great overall feel so went higher rather then lower.

I love going to Cover 3. Great service and food. Although for families I have found that their seating varies and it may feel like you are far away from other members of your party. Overall, highly recommend

We started with drinks, I tried the skinny marg which wasn't my personal favorite, but the spicy frozen margarita was so good and definitely the move. Our waitress was also super friendly, funny, and gave great recommendations. We ordered the dip trio to start and WOW it was fire. The chips were perfectly seasoned, the salsa had a slight sweetness that I loved, the guac tasted super fresh, and the queso with chorizo on top was goated. For tacos, I got the pollo asado (added grilled onions) and the chilango grilled shrimp taco, both were so flavorful. They also brought out extra salsas which made it even more fun to mix and match. Everyone else at the table loved their tacos too. Everything came out quickly, prices were super reasonable, and the whole experience was so nice. I'll definitely be back for both drinks and food!

I ordered caldo which was $9, and it came in a cup used for side dishes like rice/beans. I wasn't expecting a massive bowl, but it was incredibly small and had only 4-5 tiny cubes of chicken. Spicy margarita was alright, but again served in a very small glass. For 2 people our total after tip was around $75. This was for chips/queso, 1 drink each, and our meals - which was a salad and cup of caldo. I guess I recommend if you really do not care about value for your money and just want a place, but I think you can get better food/value elsewhere for sure.

"Nosh & Bevvy Won't Forgive Me for All the Ways They Wronged Me"…read more That title is meant to be ironic. After more than fifteen years as a customer, I made one mistake: a four-dollar tab discrepancy on a day when I had just been turned away from a dental appointment because my blood pressure was too high for treatment. I was upset, distracted, and wanted to be around people I believed were my friends. That was the last day I ever stayed there as a customer. Let's go down the list. I have been accused of skipping out on my tab. The truth is that after fifteen years of faithful patronage, there was one incident involving approximately four dollars. I had added items to my order, paid cash, and made a mistake. One mistake in fifteen years. After that happened, I became concerned that I would continue to be treated as though I couldn't be trusted. In my experience, comments about unpaid tabs continued to surface. Rather than create another misunderstanding, I made a point of being generous. On the very next occasion I tipped Charlie more than fifty percent. Instead of feeling appreciated, I arrived the next time feeling insulted when the entire amount was simply pocketed without so much as an acknowledgment. Maybe others see that differently. That's how it felt to me. The situation became even more disturbing when interactions began taking place outside the bar itself. While standing in front of my own home, I experienced conduct that I considered harassment. As a result, I filed a police report and have the corresponding case number in my email records. What disturbed me even more were stories that reached me through people connected to my former partner. According to what we were told, false rumors were being circulated claiming that my ex-girlfriend had committed suicide. Whether people thought this was gossip, entertainment, or somehow harmless, it was not. The psychological harm caused by spreading something like that is difficult to overstate. Shame on everyone involved. What you don't know is Satara an I  spoke with witnesses that completely implicated Gilbert in the rumor. What strikes me now is that I nearly forgave all of this. I removed earlier reviews because I genuinely wanted to move on. I thought it was over. I thought everyone could move on with their lives. Apparently not. If people insist on dragging the issue back into the light, then here it is. The reality is that I don't even particularly miss the place. What I do object to is being disrespected. When a business chooses to disrespect a customer who supported it for fifteen years, there are consequences. One of those consequences is that customer telling his side of the story publicly. A Message to the Staff: If I believe I am being harassed in public--whether at Night Owl or anywhere else--I will pursue every legal remedy available to me. And Sam, for what it's worth, I am sorry that your employees have represented your business in a way that ultimately cost you a longtime customer and the loss of business from everyone else that read & took this review to heart as a warning & again, Sam & Charlie, for what it's worth I wanted to make all of this go away.  Fifteen years. One four-dollar mistake. And somehow I'm still the one expected to apologize when I feel like my partner and I were the ones most wronged. Because I'm not a completely vindictive man. If I get an apology from every employee that works building that knows me, In writing, I will remove this review. -- Mad Dashiell
