We just love this local Mexican restaurant. My kids crave their food whenever they come into town. My daughter has been ordering Senora Ravioli for years. It's no longer on the menu but she never has a problem getting it. I love the BBQ Ranch Chicken Salad. So yummy. Looks like a few more Whoop Ass sauces to choose from as well. We shall be back. Ok, bye.

Chicken quesadilla is filling.

My wife and I have been coming to this location since it opened. Always good friendly neighborhood service, tasty food, and a fun night out. When it comes to sleeper locations, this is a neighborhood gem, and one of my favorite spots in the South Bay. You will find it tucked away by Petco. The food rocks, it's an interesting fusion of Mexican and something, not sure what that something is, they just do everything with a flair. They have several items that are not Mexican, so don't stereotype the place as Mexican because it's not necessarily. My 'go to' item is the Turkey Jalapeno Enchiladas. One with salsa raja (red sauce), one with tomatillo sauce (green sauce). Served with black beans, red rice, sour cream and pico de gallo. If you like to drink, they have a deep tequila list, some really good stuff. If you want to go traditional, they make the best margarita I've had in the South Bay (sorry Pancho's!). The drinks compliment the salsa (way~good) and fresh chips. My kids think the green and red chips, which are few and far between, are lucky chips. The atmosphere can be loud because they really pack people into the venue. That said, it's a good place for kids. The wait staff is all really friendly, and they know what they are talking about (food and drinks). The name, "Coyote Cantina" is a bit overdone with the art sculptures throughout the restaurant. Personally, I think it brings character. On my recent visit I was running late and "Birdy" was great about holding my table. Our server was Skyla who has server us a few times, another friendly personality. If you are a sports person, they have a few televisions near the bar (on mute) so you can always get caught up on scores. The televisions are not positioned so that they visually interfere with dinner. I love this place, do yourself a favor and visit, the price is above average but worth it.

This place is sooo good! Fast, friendly service. Traditional dishes along with some unique specialties like the roasted corn ravioli are wonderful! Chips and guacamole are definitely worth the calories!

The food is decent, but it is significantly impacted by the lackluster service. Overall, the service does not meet expectations.

Everything tasted incredibly fresh and perfectly seasoned. We ordered the carne asada and carnitas, and both were amazing. The meat was tender, flavorful, and not fatty at all just perfectly cooked and packed with flavor. My daughter had the bean and cheese burrito with rice and beans and loved it too. They bring out three different salsas with the chips, and each one had its own unique flavor. You can tell the chips are house-made because they're fresh, crisp, and just really good. Some Mexican restaurants can make things overly salty, but everything here tasted balanced and fresh. I also had a Paloma and it was made perfectly. Before we left we decided to try the churros and I'm so glad we did. They were filled with this amazing cream and came with a caramel sauce for dipping. I'm not usually a big dessert person, but these were seriously incredible. Great location, great service, amazing food, and everything tasted fresh and well made. We will definitely be back!

When we arrived, we were pleasantly surprised by the ambiance and decided to sit outside, which felt perfect for a Sunday evening. We each ordered Orden De Tacos -- which is two tacos with rice and beans -- which seems simple enough. But after a while, we started noticing that people who arrived after us were ordering, getting their food, eating, paying, and leaving while we were still waiting. Again, all we had ordered was four tacos total, plus rice and beans. About 50 minutes after we placed our order, I finally got up to ask our waiter if he could check on our food because it had been such a long wait. If they were too busy (there were a lot of people, but not absurdly so), that's where communication could have gone a long way. Even just stopping by to acknowledge the delay or apologize for the wait would have made the experience feel very different. In the end, it took nearly an hour to get our four tacos from the time we ordered it, and the wait wasn't mentioned by staff at all. The food was okay in the end, but the experience definitely left us disappointed.

I ordered a skinny margarita and the shrimp tacos. I always am scared getting a skinny marg because it is either super strong or not good but this one was the best I've had in a while. The shrimp tacos were yummy! My friend wasn't a big fan of them because they were too wet and didn't have enough crunch. The prices are good too. It's hard to find a place where you can order a margarita for $12 now a days. The servers were super welcoming and attentive. All around top tier service here! This may be my new favorite Mexican restaurant in redondo. Highly recommend!

The salsa arrives first. Bright. Alive. The sort of salsa that makes you pause mid-conversation and look down at the bowl with respect. Then the meal. Enchiladas wrapped in velvet-soft tortillas. Rice with the quiet depth of slow simmering. Beans rich enough to remind you that comfort can be served on a plate. And the margarita--cold, unapologetic, perfectly balanced--arrives like punctuation at the end of a long day. You sit back. The noise of the world recedes. This is not simply dinner. The soup itself was flavorful and light veggies and chicken. It came with rice and onions (you can order tortillas on the side). The chicken in the soup was pretty tough and difficult to chew, however they gave a LOT. You definitely get a bang for your buck if you're trying to eat high protein. Overall, this place was just meh for me. My husband seemed to think the food here is mediocre as well. I don't think I would choose to come back here.
