Southern comfort made from scratch * Family recipes, perfected over time * Real ingredients. Real Southern flavor. * Comfort food that hugs you back * Crispy, saucy, soulful--every bite hits * Where sides are made with love (and butter ) * Cozy vibes, bold Southern bites * This is how Southern comfort should taste * From cornbread to cookies--no skips here * Quick service. Slow-cooked flavor. Hook-style openers (great for first frame): * If comfort food had a love language... * This Southern meal understood the assignment * Warning: this reel may cause cravings * Southern food done the cozy way * One plate = pure comfort Want them more bougie, more playful, or more foodie-descriptive? I really like this little spot. Popping in while running errands, I had a little conversation with the cashier, discussing their 1st location in Kennesaw, with plans for expansion as well. He also took the time to tell me a little bit about their offerings. Their chicken sand has two chicken breasts, thankfully not breaded - but more than a handful. I love is that their cozy sauce is not sweet, like bbq. The dill pickles, of course, at a nice bite; and I absolutely love the wedge salad! I will definitely return.

I got Fried Chicken, Mashed potatoes, and Cornbread (they gave me 2 drums instead of one) that was nice. The cornbread was good it reminded me of my grandmother's cornbread. It didn't make it out the car ride home. The chicken was also cool, The gravy has pork in it, I didn't realize that until I got home so I didn't eat the gravy but the Mashed potatoes are good. The young African American lady that helped me had a great attitude she said today was her first day at work. Her co worker also helped me with suggestions on what to purchase. I appreciated that. They have a drive thru, it's a casual dining spot. I did see a lot of older people inside eating . Overall great spot. I would go back. Didn't grab the inspection score on this trip. I tried it out because of a direct mail complimentary coupon. Great spot!

A nice, clean, stylish spot with that modern driftwood vibe--cozy enough for the family, and the service is on point. Orders hit the table lightning fast, and everything is made from scratch, which you can taste. Smooth jazz in the background sets the mood. The food itself is just okay. I'll come here before I end up pulling into Bojangles. Most of the points are for the establishment and service

The food was good. The service was good. The restaurant was clean. The restroom was clean. The decor is basic. The fries and okra were amazing.

Tried Cozy Coop and was genuinely impressed. Everything is made from scratch, and you can taste the difference. The fried chicken was crispy and flavorful, the ribs were tender, and the sides felt like true Southern comfort. I also loved that dine-in meals are served on real glass plates, which makes it feel more elevated than your typical fast casual spot. And their recommendations from the servers were spot on Solid option for comfort food in the Roswell area.

If your feeling fried chicken, Cozy Coop is a solid option. It's a bit difficult to find and get in and out of, but it's worth it. The parking is a bit tight up front. The place has a drive-thru so it's awkward maneuvering around. The fried chicken here is pretty good. You'll want to make sure to grab some of their biscuits; they're fluffy, buttery, and perfect for soaking up any leftover sauce. I'd recommend skipping the red beans and rice. They were a bit underwhelming and lacked the flavor punch I was hoping for. The ambiance strikes a nice balance between cozy and casual, with plenty of comfortable seating. You can kick back with your food and not feel rushed. Service is fast-casual. You place your order at the counter, but they bring the food out to you, so you can sit back and relax while waiting for your meal. Overall, Cozy Coop is a solid choice for a laid-back meal. Just make sure to grab that fried chicken and biscuits... maybe some fried okra, too.

Cozy Coop is delicious! Looks like fast food, but with a nice upscale dining room. This is so much more than fast food. You do order @ the counter. Great selection of meals, sides & even grilled selections. We had a chix po-boy, boneless bbq thighs & 4 pc chix tender meal. The staff are so friendly which makes all the difference! Order, get your drink & relax in the dining area. The booths are comfortable & this is the cleanest place I have been in awhile. They bring your food to the table too on purple trays! The collards were so good! We enjoyed everything! Management is there & it shows they care! Oh & great cornbread too. They do have a drive-thru too & they offer breakfast now. Our first time & it won't be the last. Go try Cozy Coop out & support them now!

Always hot and affordable. Don't be fooled by the small business. The food is comparable to a good family dinner that your grandma made.

Dirty Bird and the Beignets are a must order here. Even for those that don't love gravy I'd still get the dirty bird because the gravy is on the lighter side and very flavorful. Unfortunately, our excitement quickly faded before we were even seated. When I walked into the restaurant, I was completely ignored by a young blonde employee named Claudia who was standing behind the counter in the waiting area. She looked directly at me and continued what she was doing without so much as a greeting or an acknowledgment. A simple, "Good morning, someone will be right with you," would have gone a long way. Since no one else was in the lobby and I noticed a clipboard on the counter, I politely asked if there was a waitlist. Claudia responded with an attitude that she "wasn't the hostess." I calmly asked where the hostess was, and she simply replied that she was clearing tables. There was no offer to help, no explanation of the process, and no attempt to assist me. She continued interacting with other staff members while I stood there feeling like an inconvenience. Thankfully, another employee who appeared to be a waiter noticed me. He immediately picked up the same clipboard that had been sitting on the counter, took my name and phone number with a cheerful attitude, and let me know it would be about a 15-minute wait. His professionalism completely contrasted with the poor customer service I had just experienced. Once seated, our waiter was personable, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. The food was also very good. I ordered the Chicken Sausage Scramble with hash browns, and it was delicious. My friend ordered the Catfish and Grits and thoroughly enjoyed her meal as well. The food and our waiter helped redeem the experience, but first impressions matter. Management should ensure that every employee understands that providing basic courtesy and hospitality is everyone's responsibility, not just the hostess's. Even if greeting guests or managing the waitlist wasn't Claudia's primary role, there was no excuse for being dismissive or rude to someone walking through your front door. Alpharetta has no shortage of excellent brunch spots with both great food and outstanding customer service. Sadly, because of the way I was treated before I was even seated, I won't be returning to The Southern Porch. I also won't feel comfortable recommending it to friends or family. It's disappointing because the kitchen and our waiter did their jobs well, but one employee's attitude overshadowed what could have been an otherwise enjoyable brunch.

RC had approached her with a flier at a gas station, informing her that his restaurant had just opened up. Anyway, I'm ordering my meal, the same meal I always get each time I go. Fried fish (whiting), collards and the baked beans (unmatched). And he goes, "What would you like to drink?".... I'm like, "What do you have?" (Assuming the usual. Sweet tea. Lemonade... I was probably gonna go with sweet tea. ) He lists sweet tea of course, and then hes like, "Kool-Aid, coke, sprite" - IM LIKE WAIT. DID YOU SAID KOOL-AID?......... He's like, "Yeah??..." She had zero personality and barely a voice. At one point, she asked my husband if he'd like another Old Fashioned but never asked if I wanted another glass of wine, even though my empty glass was sitting right there. She brought his drink, dropped it off, and walked away again without asking. I ended up going without another drink altogether. Honestly, she sounded sick enough that they probably should've sent her home and had someone cover her shift. I ordered the steak, which came with roasted fingerling potatoes. I would've preferred mashed potatoes, but the fingerlings were perfectly acceptable. My husband ordered the fried chicken, assuming it would come with mashed potatoes since that's pretty standard with fried chicken. We were told mashed potatoes are only served on Wednesdays. That was just weird. They're mashed potatoes--not a once-a-week specialty item. Really? Since my husband wanted potatoes with his chicken, he asked if he could substitute the side it came with for the same roasted fingerling potatoes that were already being served with my steak. The waitress said she would have to ask the chef. She came back and told us the chef said NO. That made even less sense. The potatoes were obviously already being prepared and served in the restaurant, so why couldn't they simply be substituted as a side? He ended up with the very different fingerling potato salad with peas in it instead. He got his potatoes I suppose. The fried chicken itself was very good, as was my steak, which is why I'm still giving the restaurant four stars. But between mashed potatoes apparently being a Wednesday-only event, the chef refusing a very simple side substitution, and inattentive service that left me sitting with an empty wine glass, the whole experience was unnecessarily strange. Great food, but the service and inflexibility were an epic fail. This could've been a five-star experience.
